Karnak is an ancient Egyptian temple precinct located on the east bank of the Nile River in Thebes (modern-day Luxor). It covers more than 100 hectares, an area larger than some ancient cities.
Constructed over hundreds of years by Amenhotep III, Ramses II, Tutankhamun, and other pharaohs, Luxor Temple was the largest and most significant religious center in ancient Egypt. In what was then Thebes, Luxor Temple was “the place of the First Occasion,” where the god Amon experienced rebirth during the pharaoh’s annually reenacted coronation ceremony.
The west bank of Luxor had been the site of royal burials since around 2100 BC, but it was the pharaohs of the New Kingdom period (1550–1069 BC) who chose this isolated valley dominated by the pyramid-shaped mountain peak of Al Qurn (The Horn). Once called the Great Necropolis of Millions of Years of Pharaoh, or the Place of Truth, the Valley of the Kings has 63 magnificent royal tombs.
At Deir Al Bahri, the eyes first focus on the dramatic rugged limestone cliffs that rise nearly 300m above the desert plain, only to realise that at the foot of all this immense beauty lies a monument even more extraordinary, the dazzling Temple of Hatshepsut. The almost-modern-looking temple blends in beautifully with the cliffs from which it is partly cut – a marriage made in heaven. Most of what you see has been painstakingly reconstructed.

In Luxor, my favorite part of the experience was my visit to the Valley of the Kings. I got to shoot a video of King Tutankhamen’s mummy and to visit at least 3 other tombs. Visiting Queen Hatshepsut’s temple was also interesting.

In conclusion, it was great to choose this tour company!! While researching the tour of Egypt, there were a lot of concerns about security, but I chose Jagada Travel and it was a really satisfying, safe, secure and fulfilling honeymoon®. Azab-san, who was in charge of the guide, was really good to me! As for security, the guide is there so you can be protected in dangerous situations and when you are drawing customers!! As a Japanese, I didn't know about chip culture either, and it helped me! I was very indebted to him for making me sick and rested because of the fever and food during the trip. Always smiling and kind and hospitable, he is a great guide!! I would like to use it again!!

We had a very comfortable and enjoyable trip to Egypt. Our guide Azab was very kind and knowledgeable and helped us many times. They teach us everything about tips and shopping so we don't lose money. Once I left the hotel and walked alone in Luxor, but I soon realized how protected we were by our guides, caught by our customers, almost making us buy expensive things and surrounded by begging. If a tourist is walking alone, he or she will definitely get knocked out, so I think it would definitely be more enjoyable to wear a tour when traveling in Egypt. If you understand even a little English, I highly recommend you join this tour instead of the one you can find in Japanese (it's cheaper than the one you can find in Japanese and the quality of the guide is better). I really fell in love with Egyptians because of this tour. At the end of the tour, we thought of Azab as a family. Thank you for Azab.

The trip was a wonderful experience! Our guide, Azab, did a fantastic job. He took great care of all the details and provided a detailed explanation at each of the places we visited. He was friendly and answered any questions we had. I would highly recommend this trip and him as a guide.

I highly recommend this tour with Mohamed Sayed! He is extremely knowledgeable and made sure I felt safe and comfortable as a solo female traveler visiting Egypt for the first time. We saw the Karnak and Luxor temples, Valley of the kings and queens and Temple of Queen Hatshepsut and the Colossi of Memnon. It was incredible to see history up close and so well preserved. I learned so much and highly recommend this tour as something you absolutely have to see in Luxor and overall in Egypt.

I cannot express how much I loved this tour! The cruise was a great way to see different cities. Our guide Asab was absolutely fantastic and takes great pictures! He is so knowledgeable about each site. He is protective, trustworthy and so kind! One tip, do the extras (like the Nubian village)- you won't regret it!

I’m going to be honest, I have no idea what we would have done without our tour guide, Azab! Not only did he tell us the history of temples and tombs, but he showed us daily life for the modern people living in Luxor and answered our many cultural questions. He never shied away from hard questions, but answered them with honesty and grace. He is excellent with children and went out of his way to find cool experiences for an 11yo boy. Do it! You will think it’s worth your time and money!!

My fiance and I went on a Nile Ril er cruise from Luxor to Aswan and Ahmed Awad was our tour guide, we had the best time, it was seamlessly organized from the pick up in the morning to the information at the historical sights. Ahmed even knew where to take great pictures of my fiance and I. Ahmed made my dream birthday vacation. Amazing. I felt like a VIP! Thank you again, Ahmed!

This Luxor to Aswan Egypt trip with Ahmed Awad as our tour guide was absolutely phenomenal. Ahmed was informative, kind, funny, patient. Ahmed knew all the special places to take the best pictures at the historical sights. I have traveled many places and he is top tier!
