Move on to enjoy the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut, which was built by Queen Hatshepsut, daughter of Thutmosis I, who ruled Egypt about 20 years during the 18th Dynasty (approximately from 1490 to 1469 B.C), the only pharaonic woman who reigned ancient Egypt. Later on, you will be transferred back to your hotel in Luxor.
The Temple of Hatshepsut, also known as Deir el-Bahari, is an ancient Egyptian funerary temple located on the west bank of the Nile River near the city of Luxor. It was built for Queen Hatshepsut, one of the few female pharaohs in ancient Egypt, who ruled during the 15th century BCE (approximately 1479-1458 BCE). The Temple of Hatshepsut is considered one of the most remarkable architectural achievements of ancient Egypt. It was designed by Senenmut.
The Colossi of Memnon are two massive stone statues located on the west bank of the Nile River near the city of Luxor in Egypt. They are all that remains of a larger mortuary temple complex built by Pharaoh Amenhotep III during the 14th century BCE (approximately 1350-1334 BCE). The statues depict Amenhotep III seated on his throne, and each statue stands about 18 meters (60 feet) tall, weighing approximately 700 tons. They were carved out of single blocks of quartzite sandstone and originally placed at the entrance of the pharaoh's temple. The statues were created to guard the temple and to represent the pharaoh's divine power and authority.

Amazing half day your with Abdo. Stopped for water on way to Valley of the Kings. Found his knowledge was fantastic. Lots of laughs. Took photos for us. Even stopped to and got us an ice cream. Explained everything well and it didn’t feel overwhelming. Driver was also great. Taking us back to the airport tomorrow. Highly recomend. Get to enjoy and takes away all the stress.

From the moment our driver Abdo picked us up on time in is immaculately clean and spacious air conditioned vehicle we just knew this was going to be a great day. Tour guide Waleed , Abdo’s partner in excellence , joined us on the drive to the Valley of the Kings a short time thereafter. Abdo was a such a careful and patient driver and Waleed was an exceptional informative guide , one of the best we have had in Egypt. Such an amazing experience and if you book through these guys you are assured of the very best service. Thoroughly recommended .Thank you Waleed and Abdo !

An excellent trip to the Valley of the Kings, Hatshepsut and Memnon. Tour company well organised, and timely. My guide, Mena, messaged me the day before and on the morning. Mena was genuine, calm and very knowledgable. He explained the sites with passion and clarity, and then left me to explore - which was my preference. Our driver, Abdul, was also calm, friendly and a careful driver. We had a side excursion to a masonry handicraft works and shop, which was genuinely interesting - I would say the salesmen were as skilled as the craftsmen, so bargain carefully and hard. Overall, a fascinating and enjoyable half day (7am-1pm). Thank you Mena.

First tour in Egypt and Ajmed, our guide in Spanish, made our visit to the valley of the kings, Hatshepsut and the colossi of Mamnon unforgettable. It is quite different to enter a temple alone and dazzle without understanding what you see, than to do it with a guide who knows all the history of Egypt. The private tour was very good because it can be done at our own pace, without running and with everything resolved (tickets, transportation, drinks, etc). Highly recommended and if it is with Ajmed better!

Abdo was an excellent tour guide and our driver was also great. Car was air conditioned and clean and I felt very safe with our driver. Abdo was very knowledgeable about the three sites we visited and was incredibly friendly. I highly recommend!

We booked the option with a driver and guide and Mohamed, our guide, was really friendly and knowledgable. With this option, the guide will give you information before the sights and then wait for you in a café while you see the tombs and temple. The sights were awesome and we recommend visiting them, however, we felt a bit rushed at the main site (Valley of kings) where we bought the normal ticket (which gives you access to 3 tombs) and the additional tomb for Tut. Mohamed informed us that if we want to do the 4 tombs, it will cost additional 400EGP for him as well as the driver, as they will wait a bit longer. So we ended up just visiting 2 tombs + tut. We were given 40mins to visit these 3 tombs. We would have liked to get a bit more time for this part of the tour and use the tickets fully/for all 3 tombs included in the ticket. Afterwards you continue your tour as described. If you do not do the additional workshop visits, the tour takes in total about 3 hours. Mohamed bought the included bottled water for us upon asking for it and did so with a smile - which he had for the whole trip. That was very pleasant. Tips for guide and driver are separate. Edit: Upon recieving our review, the tour operator contacted us immediately and offered generous compensation to make up for the rushed time/not using the 3 tomb-ticket fully at the valley of the kings.They assured us that this is not policy and apologized in an honest way. We appreciated their quick response and willingness to provide another service to give us a great experience for our stay.
