Sunset sailing on a felucca in Luxor is a breathtaking experience. Feluccas are traditional wooden sailboats that gracefully glide along the Nile River, providing a unique and tranquil way to witness the stunning sunset over Luxor's ancient landmarks. As the sun dips below the horizon, the sky transforms into a palette of warm hues, casting a golden glow on the surrounding temples and landscapes. The gentle swaying of the felucca, the soothing sound of the water, and the majestic scenery create a magical ambiance that captures the essence of Egypt's rich history and natural beauty. It's a serene and romantic way to connect with the past while enjoying the present moment.
You will watch the views in Luxor for both banks. Luxor Temple view from the Nile.

We have just returned from a sunset Felucca trip and it was so good and so special!!! Firstly the pick up and communication was great by Amir at Luxor tours, with efficient and friendly driver too. We then had our trip on the boat, and it was perfect! They were friendly, and wanted to keep us entertained. We had music, dancing, pictures and some fun games along with tea there and back. Of course sunset was amazing, but the trip was made by the people on this trip. Great value for money and a trip not to be missed.

Beautiful 2 hour trip on the Nile Angel Felucca boat to view the sunset. Captain and Crew were very friendly and kept us entertained. Amir was very kind and escorted us from our hotel in air conditioned mini bus and returned us safely. A wonderful way to celebrate our Golden Wedding Anniversary. Thank you very much to all .

This is one of the must-experience highlights of any trip to Luxor. Hot and cool drinks, incredible enthusiasm from the two young crew who go way beyond to make your trip personal and memorable. We beamed with unbridled happiness while taking in the magic of a Nile River sunset from the river. Just so much fun.

The boat experience was amazing for the price! A few hours going down the Nile, having some tea and dancing a bit on board - can't complain. Definitely recommend going! Host was very accommodating and kind. If you catch the sunset, its stunning.

Prices vary a lot here you have to haggle well, they promise everything and at the moment of sailing other people come and try to force other things on you to spend even more money. See if there is at least 20 km/h wind, if not there is nothing to it. Views are beautiful again.
