Just do it!
Amazing! From start to finish, pilot excellent, most gentle and well executed landing. Respectful of the farmers and avoided landing in their crops. Stunning views, the statues from the air still look huge, loved it and highly recommend, even if you don’t like heights like me.

Good experience but not delivering as promised
Good flight with Abdo, the flight was great. But we were told it included the boat to cross the Nile if we were staying in east bank with tea and coffee and that did not comply. They came with a van and took us

Worth every penny. Very safe.
Captain Abdo is the best pilot! He made sure that all 32 of us in the basket had a long good viewing of the historic sites.

Fantastic experience
It was a great experience! All very well organised, the safety information was well delivered and the pilot/driver was really good. I think our balloon was the only one that landed somewhere that look safe. Other balloons landed on a road or very close to electric cables. The only thing that could have made it perfect was the weather. It would have been great to see the sun rise but the clouds had other ideas!

Recommended company
I could have bought a hot balloon ride far cheaper locally or even from another site, but I wanted to use Hod Hod Soliman becasue of the good reviews & therefore considered it worth paying extra to book with them. In terms of the hot air balloon ride itself it doesn't seem to matter who you book with, groups get shuffled around at the launch site & everyone gets the same length of ride (half an hour). The baskets are crowded & if, like me, you are unlucky enough to be placed at the inner part of the basket behind other people, the views are partially obscured. However, I am still glad I booked with this company as their communication was excellent. They recommended that I bring the date of our ride forward because for 5 days adverse weather had forced all the hot air ballon rides to be cancelled, but the next day there was a small window of opportunity for them to go ahead. We happily changed our booking as advised & got to have the amazing expereince. Had they not let us reschedule we wouldn't have got to go as all the balloon rides were cancelled again on our original booking date. For that reason I would recommend booking with this company, their reliability & excellent customer service is worth the higher price

Magical Sunrise Balloon Ride in Luxor
We had a wonderful hot air balloon experience in Luxor. It was truly special for us, especially because the flights had been cancelled for the last 5 days. So when it finally took off, there was so much excitement and happiness all around. Our guide, Yisri, was very organised, full of energy, and made everything smooth from start to finish. He kept everyone informed and made sure we were comfortable throughout. Our pilot, Baqir, was very experienced. The take-off and landing were both very smooth, which made us feel safe and relaxed during the whole ride. The ground team also did a great job, carefully guiding the balloon and making sure we landed in a safe place. Overall, it was a beautiful and memorable experience. Watching the sunrise over Luxor from the sky is something we will never forget.
