Very relaxing experience
We had doubts about what we were going to encounter, especially about the transfers from our hotel from Hurghada to Luxor AR. These transfers were perfect although these on paper seemed long to us. The roads are wide overall well maintained which allows us to quickly jump around Luxor, which allowed us to discover daily life in the rural area.
The cruise went perfectly: very clean cabin and cleaning done every day with a little wink from the staff who decorate you on your bed.
Very varied catering where everyone can find their happiness.
At each stage we had guides to accompany us. Special mention to Samy our guide on Aswan , Abu Simbel and Philae. M

Feedback on Our Luxor–Aswan Trip
Our half-day tour in Luxor was disappointing due to a lack of guidance and historical explanation. At the Valley of the Kings and the Temple of Hatshepsut, the guide provided almost no information and was largely absent during the visits.
After boarding the cruise ship Zeina, our experience improved greatly. Maged Sharawy at reception was patient and helpful, and the housekeeping staff provided excellent service, maintaining a very high standard of cleanliness in our cabin every day.
From Edfu Temple to Aswan, we were very lucky to have Samy Saleh as our guide. He has a deep knowledge of Egyptian history and extensive guiding experience. At every site, he explained everything clearly and in great detail, making the history come alive for us. Samy is very professional, responsible, and well-organized, and he took excellent care of all the arrangements. We spent three wonderful and enjoyable days traveling with him, and he truly is an outstanding guide.

Philae temple

Bellissima esperienza
We had the great pleasure of exploring the temples of Luxor with George, an outstanding Egyptologist and guide. From the moment the tour began, George impressed us with his deep knowledge, passion for ancient Egyptian history, and ability to bring each site to life through captivating stories and insightful explanations.
We visited iconic sites like Karnak Temple, Luxor Temple, and the Valley of the Kings, and thanks to George’s expertise, we were able to appreciate the historical and cultural significance behind every statue, hieroglyph, and architectural detail. His explanations were clear, engaging, and tailored to our level of curiosity.
George answered every question with patience, offered helpful tips for navigating the sites comfortably, and made sure we avoided the busiest crowds whenever possible.
If you're visiting Luxor and want an unforgettable experience led by someone who truly knows and loves what he does, we highly recommend George.

First day of the trip was in luxor, our guide george was on pickup location on time, spoke fluent english, was very clear in instructions and explanation in west side visits and overall very welcoming

Great but not amazing
So the tour includes what is promised. We were send to the cruise Semiramis 1. The cruise is average, I wouldn’t rate it as 5 starts. The food is good, but the legend “no drinks included” not even includes water! Water is 4 euros a 1L bottle. Only the first day we arrived they gave us two 600ml water bottles, the next days when they clean the room no water was included.
By the way, during the trips we saw tons of other better cruises, that they did look like 5 stars, if you are looking for luxury, this is not the place. Even the cruise people, some waiters were super kind, but other like the manager Mahmeud was super rude.
All the visits are amazing as you see in the pictures, the temples, all great.
We had two different guides, first George Tanagho for two days, and then Samy Saleh for three days.
George was amazing! He gave us great tips on how to better enjoy our visit, best spots for pics, and he is super kind and funny. I really liked that he always gave us the historical background, but he was opened for any questions. He does has the historic knowledge but also has an amazing attitude, I would really have loved if he were our guide the whole trip.
One of my favorite things about George is that he took us to a local place in Luxor where they elaborate Egyptian alabaster and basalt sculptures. This place was great to get a souvenir, and being a tourist I really appreciated having someone like George to help taking us to a genuine souvenirs shop.
The second guide Samy, was not great. He was always in a rush, giving explanations super fast, I came to a point where I preferred to google the information or ask ChatGPT about the places than asking him. The forth day, we went to the Aswan Dum and Philae Island, but we were done by midday. “Casually” he offered an extra trip on a Faluca and a visit to a Nubian village for extra money. Some of the guys in the tour agreed, I decided to take the afternoon to visit the botanical gardens and the Aswan market. I told him I was not interested but asked him if he could explained me how to get a boat to take me to the gardens. When he realized I was not going on his extra tour, he refused to help me, in the end I figure it out by myself. It’s a shame this kind of things happen considering that the tour itself is not cheap, I was just asking for some local advice. ChatGPT helped me more and everything worked out great.
Another difference is that George had the tickets purchased in advance, so we had to do no like to get inside, while Samy did not and we lost time while the whole group purchased their tickets.
Overall, the tour is complete, the schedule covers all the amazing places in the Nile, the cruise is acceptable, but I believe you can have an amazing guide (like George) or a not so great.

Great cruise!
Great cruise on the Nile! We left from Luxor to Aswan, the temples were beautiful and the cruise support was top! We really enjoyed that everything was organized, transport, meals, guides.
We met great people in Egypt, I am thinking in particular of the Omer guide in Aswan, who helped us a lot for the rest of our trip! Thanks to him!

5 unforgettable days
We spent 5 unforgettable days. We had great meetings with different guides! Adel, a passionate Egyptologist to show us around the Valley of Kings and the Temple of Hatshepsut. Mostafa, a very nice guide with whom we had a good laugh to visit the kom ombo temple. Omar, very good advice, kind and exciting with whom we visited the Temple of Philae in Aswan. He also helped us get our train tickets. Thank you very much Omar! Cruise recommended 100%!! Everything is under control, you just have to enjoy.

Unforgettable Nile Cruise
The experience was very enjoyable. The boat had every comfort and the guides Mohamed and Omar were amazing. I would recommend this tour to anyone who wants to experience Egypt 🌅
