Be sure you are hungry for the food tour! We enjoyed our tour making many stops via taxi, walking and tuk tuk. A fun first day and intro to Cairo. Great host, very friendly and knows the best spots. The food tour was one of the highlights of the trip, especially for my teen son, highly recommend!

We were picked up from our hotel on time. Our food tour guide was fun and knowledgeable. We were introduced to so many different foods and restaurants. It was fun and very tasty. It lasted longer than we expected but oh so with it. I would not hesitate to recommend this food tour to everyone. Please try it out, you won’t regret it. I’d give it more than 5 stars if I could.

Sameh bursts with energy and good vibes. He will take you to places you surely wouldn't find in your own. Stumbling through cairo sidestreets and markets on a ramadan night has been a lifetime experience. This is not only a great opportunity to taste foods that are not on the menues of hotels and luxor restaurants, but also to get around cairo dive into local life.

We had a great food tour with Samesh. He’s quite a character - lots of laughter and energy. He took us to quite a wide variety places - some quick stops and some longer plus going into the kitchens! You’ve got to be a bit adventurous as the three of us hopped into a Tut Tut at one point and also one of the stops was a quite shabby food stall. All good though. A very memorable evening. 👍🏼👍🏼

Our guide Sameh was just the best. He made this food tour a fantastic experience. We experienced various foods, had a Felucca ride on the Nile and enjoyed some laughs. This was such a great start to our Cairo experience. I can highly recommend this tour and can definitely recommend Sameh as a guide. This is a must do when visiting Cairo.

Fill up on the Koshary. I went back the very next day! It really is incredible. The rest of the stuff you can take small samples of or else you will overstuff yourself to the point of feeling bad. Happy to report that none of the food make me sick, which of course is a concern in Egypt. The guide is very smiley and energentic. He got us taxis when one person had issues walking. Do this your first full day!

We’ve probably done about 30 food tours at this point and I think this might have been the best one. I think the food was good but the thing that made the tour amazing was Sameh. It felt like we were on a night out with an old friend. So many unexpected delights.

Highly recommend this tour to get to know Cairo. The city is overwhelming on your first visit, but this tour gets you to know the amazing Egyptian culture and taste the delicious Egyptian food. Sameh is extremely outgoing and friendly. A great representative for Egyptian culture. We loved this tour and wouldn't hesitate to recommend. Actually we've already recommended it to others staying at our hotel
