Horrific and expensive
I hate giving reviews but felt I had to here. I’m not sure where they got they’re raving reviews but from the get go we were given the worst customer service. Once we paid they never got back to us. Their pdf information never opens on your email. I figured out why - there is no information for the customer We wound up having to wait until the day of the boat to get information on where, and which boat we were going on. No matter how many times we called or emailed no one would respond. We were forced to pay an extra $500 on a hotel because we were not given the correct information on when we could board. Once we got on boat, room didn’t look anything like photo and was next to loud engine. They wouldn’t move us even though we could see boat was not full. I asked for a portion of my money for all the bad customer service. No response. Not shocked. They are a very bad business how they got their reviews baffles me but I while I was their I saw much better business etiquette on other boats I wish I had gone on. If I could give them zero stars I would.

Fascinating
An amazing cruise from Aswan to Luxor, with a side trip to Abu Simbel. Filled with visits to very impressive temples and tombs.

Amazing Experience 10/10
This cruise was incredible, but what really made it so special was our amazing tour guide Mena!!!
He thought of everything, he was always on the other end of the phone if we needed anything, he was smiley, happy, kind and full of knowledge.
Egypt is a chaotic place and we felt safe with him at all times.
The cruise ship was immaculate, the food was good and frequent, staff were friendly.
We can’t fault our experience, we went to so many magical places we never would have known about if it wasn’t for this cruise.
10/10, can’t recommend enough.

Magnificent temples, personal service
We had a great time with journey to Egypt. From the beginning, they were very responsive about booking queries and questions, including when we were worried about the safety situation in the Middle East (it was safe here). Our tour guide Michael was very thoughtful, enthusiastic and knowledgeable, and really did everything to make sure we were comfortable and informed. When we wanted to book extras (hot air balloon ride over Luxor and transport to Hurghada), both Michael and journey to Egypt helped make extra arrangements for us.
They were very easy to work with and accommodating.
While the sites can get very crowded (all tour boats arrive at sites at roughly the same time), they do their best to make sure the experience is personal. Thank you!

A fantástic review of Ancient Egipt
The Cruise was very good, good meals and service, the guide is fantastic!! He knows so much about all Egipt, goods, kings, quens, etc... i recommend it ! Very complete tour.

Trip of a lifetime!
This cruise was a dream come true! Our guide, John, was amazing! He had everything planned and organized so we didn’t have to worry about anything, he was very clear about any directions he had for us, like meeting points and itineraries and lots of travel tips for Egypt. He was flexible when we wanted to change things and he was very informative but also gave us plenary of free time at the sites to explore. If you don’t want to worry about anything and just want to relax and see all of the main sites in upper Egypt this is the cruise to book! Thanks John!!!

Trip of a lifetime!
We had an amazing trip with Journey to Egypt. Communication with our guide John was impeccable from the beginning - he messaged us a few days before we were due to arrive to tell us what to expect and this continued throughout.
The Nile Cruise was very good, the cabins were nice and the food was endless! The boat itself had a nice lounge area and the top deck had a bar and pool (perfect to watch the sunset from!).
John was excellent and it was brilliant to have our own guide and not be part of a large group. He often tried to beat the crowds and that was really helpful, he guided us expertly through so many sites: Philae, Abu Simbel, Kom Ombo, Hetshepsut, The Valley of the Kings, Karnax, Luxor - wow, wow, wow! We covered so much! John had so much knowledge and arranged everything from tickets, to transport, water and even when we wanted last minute things (like a hot air balloon ride, and to stop at a hotel for a drink!). He made it really tailored and personal to us and we had a phenomenal experience!

Magical Nile cruiss
The tour itself is incredible, very packed with the most impressive ancient sites - be ready to be active! This is once in a lifetime trip.
The itenarary still lets you to relax during the day on the Nile, and our guide Mena was very efficient with organising everything suited to our needs, and even was able to add an extra request (Dendera temple) to the plan very comfortably. He is really supportive, flexible and takes the best pictures ever!
The boat itself could be more up to date, but you barely spend time there.
