Geweldige jeep safari
Wat een onvergetelijke ervaring in de woestijn van Hurghada! De jeepsafari was spannend en perfect georganiseerd. Van het rijden door de zandduinen tot het genieten van een prachtige zonsondergang en een heerlijk bedoeïenenbuffet bij kaarslicht – alles klopte.
Een speciale dank aan onze gids Adam, die deze ervaring echt bijzonder maakte. Hij gaf ons ontzettend veel interessante uitleg over de sterren en sterrenbeelden, en liet ons met zijn telescoop de nachtelijke hemel bewonderen. Zijn enthousiasme en kennis maakten het sterrenkijken magisch!
Echt een aanrader voor iedereen die op zoek is naar avontuur, cultuur en natuur in één!

Well organized tour - Great people met
The tour was well organized had a lot of fun especially because of the great Egyptian family who rode with us in the jeep. In addition to the beautiful nature, they also got to know the Egyptian mentality, which we really liked. At home with friends...

Fab evening despite clouds!
Adam our tour guide was so knowledgeable about the stars! Despite having clouds, he still made it super interesting! The food was really nice - great chef! Long journey, but worth it. Camel rides were short, but great photos. Bread was amazing.

You can make but you don't have to
Nice guides, Ibrahim was our German guide, he was very nice and took good care of. Good apprentices of the constellations.
Overall, the tour was ok:
Pro:
Beautiful desert landscape (sunset on hills with great views)
Good food, good food
Nice guides
Good explanation of the individual constellations
Delicious flatbread freshly prepared by a Bedouin
Contra:
Very long journey/departure in total about 3h from Sahl Hasheesh, partial drive through the desert along garbage dumps
Plus 20 min wait until everyone arrives at the stopover (duration of entire excursion 7h)
Camel riding takes 2min and our camel was beaten by the Bedouin to sit down again
Starlit skies are okay in April, but hardly better than at home 20km outside Munich. You can see Jupiter and Co through telescopes which is quite unspectacular because they were just blurred points

Leistung entspricht nicht der Beschreibung
Dies ist keine Jeep-Safari, da man im geschlossenen Toyota-Kastenwagen fährt. Hinten befinden sich 8 Plätze, bei denen man sich zu je 4 gegenüber sitzt, Knie an Knie. Fenster gingen nicht zu öffnen.
Die Fahrt durch die Wüste war eindrucksvoll.
Trotz gebuchter deutscher Reiseleitung und über 80% deutscher Teilnehmer erfolgten alle Reiseinformationen in englischer Sprache. Fragen auf deutsch wurden nicht verstanden.
Das Kamelreiten bedeutet 100 Meter im Kreis.
Ein echtes Beduinendorf haben wir auch nicht gesehen. Das war Touristentheater.
Die Wüstenberge und der Sonnenuntergang waren super schön.

Disappointed
The tour got canceled last second. Left us standing in the lobby for over 90 minutes.
Told us they were on their way. Thankfully Viator gave us a full refund

Nice but tried To scam for extra money
It was a good experience amongst the dessert and stars such a shame that the trip was dampened by being nearly scammed for “hidden extra fees” as a group of young women. Luckily we weren’t swayed but I would be very wary as it wasn’t just our group who this happened to. The tour guide was very knowledgeable and we would have tipped if they hadn’t tried to do this. it really gave a bad ending to what could have been a better experience.

Experience
Very amazing experience. The drivers & guide were really fun to be around. The food was amazing and the information given on the stars were brilliant, I learned a lot. The sunset was beautiful and the family who live on the dessert were kind and grateful for everything

Positiv überrascht, schöne Tour
Die Tour war ein voller Erfolg. Wir waren in einer Gruppe mit sieben weiteren Leuten und unserem Tour Guide Adam. Wir haben uns die ganze Zeit über sehr wohl gefühlt und fanden die Tour sehr interessant und positiv überraschend. Adam war sehr zuvorkommend und hat uns alles sehr gut und mit viel Humor erklärt und ein Einblick in die Kultur der Beduinenstämme gewährt.
