The experience was interesting, the Nubian Village is so fascinating with a strong culture and friendly people. The boat trip on the Nile to reach the village was an amazing experience as well. We had dinner in the Nubian village and the food was very tasty.

Amazing experience it's been visiting the nubian village and if you are visiting Aswan is a must do activity. The nubian culture is different from the egyptian one and you can discover it at its best here in Aswan. Mido, our guide, was kind and focused on making the best experience for us. He also offered us to have a nubian dinner, as a separate package to buy separately 15USD per person. I suggest to do it, the food was very delicious, the restaurant was beautiful and with a great view on the Nile River.

Marwa was an absolutely incredible guide and we cannot recommend this tour more highly. She herself is Nubian and has an in-depth understanding of the culture that an average tour guide would not. The breathtaking beauty and the hospitality of the Nubian villages make the excursion a must-do for any visitors to Aswan. As an added bonus, you’d also be supporting a small, women-owned business in an incredibly competitive industry!

A wonderful experience. The ride to the boat village by the Nile River is surprising. There is a stop in the sand where you can buy lots of souvenirs and go camel to the village. The village is fantastic: colorful, cheerful, with a thousand tents for souvenirs of all kinds, plus spices for every taste. The walk is unavoidable.

After a beautiful boat ride on the Nile among the reeds, passing through the "Nubian village " very colorful. Half-hued, between reality, colorful houses and the tourist trap with lots of shops. However the people of the village are very kind and welcoming, everything is there, even the crocodile of the Nile. Good memories.

We did the tour with our boat guide who hired a faluca for us. It was a walk and a delicious day. We went to another Nubian village, an elderly teacher showed us the alphabet and numbers in a small school decorated with bright colors, like their houses. Then we were invited to a Nubian house and invited to tea, sweets, cheeses and other foods. It is obviously all touristic but the naive and the endearing was above all else. I'd say the best in all of Egypt.

Our visit to Aswan and the Nubian village was by far the best. It was a great experience filled with so much history and we enjoyed learning about the Nubian way of life. Our tour guide Dowa was amazing. She was very friendly, knowledgeable and hospitable and the boat driver was very friendly as well. We really appreciate them and helping to make our experience a memorable one.

My tour was fantastic, from start to finish. Dua took great care to customize the tour, what we saw and ensured we were doing things that were important for me to see. She was incredibly patient as I continued to stop to take pictures, which is great since there are SO MANY photo opportunities in the beautiful and friendly Nubian village and along the Nile.
