Begin with pickup at your centrally-located hotel or cruise ship the exact time of departure depends on your location, and will be confirmed by the local supplier after booking. Transfer to a jetty on the Nile River, where you’ll board a boat for Sohail Island. you’ll travel in a modern motorboat. Take in views of the Nile riverbanks on the way to Sohail Island, passing Elephantine Island along the way. Disembark on Sohail Island, and visit a traditional Nubian house to learn about the history and culture of the Nubian people over a glass of welcome tea. After your time at the house, take a walk to explore the island on your own, strolling through brightly-painted villages, and chatting with the locals. At the end of the afternoon, meet back up at the boat jetty, where you’ll begin the return trip to Aswan. This tour concludes with drop-off at your hotel or cruise ship

Amazing trip to Nubian Village

Very recommend to go to Nubian Village with Joudy, our guide! Our trip was very fun and amazing. We had a 45-minutes boat ride to the village, and Joudy described about Nubian village history, Nile river and the attractions that we passed by along the way. We went to the school, learned about Arabic and Nubian languages from the teacher. Then, we visited Nubian house, took a picture with little crocodile (they’re so adorable when they’re small not in the photo one). We also went to spices and souvenir shop (which owns by Jordy’s family so we got the good price). Joudy is very kind. He helped take us to local store to buy a drinking water in cheap price. Thanks to him for this super amazing trip!

You gotta visit here when you visit Aswan

I did a last minute booking on the same morning. The tour agent contacted me soon after to inform the meeting point. Our tour guide Doaa was awesome! She even gave us recommendations for our dinner near our hotel after our tour ended. We wish we were given more time to do some shopping in the village. But all in all, the boat ride in the evening to the village was excellent.

Amazing trip to Nubia

The Nubian Village Tour is well worth a visit. It’s a very beautiful and lovely place. It’s a village full of rich colors. The villagers are very enthusiastic and you can see many lovely ornaments. I will definitely visit next time I have the opportunity!

Wonderful

This tour was very nice and the Nubian people interacted with us and shared history and culture. Our tour guide was great because he was knowledgeable, understanding and thoughtful.

Wonderful experience

First, we stayed in the Nubian village so did not experience the tour in a typical way. I forgot our guides name, but his photo will be attached. The Nubian village is amazing!!! Color, food, hospitality, humor. We loved our stay. I felt like the guide was distracted, had English limitations, or didn't know a lot of information. He didn't explain what we were doing and seemed to say he would take us wherever. We mentioned the museum and he took us. We were not clear if he was going to change us or if he was being flexible. He took us to a café and it wasn't lunch time, but I think he was trying to accommodate without commutation. He took us by horse and carriage and had the guy wait when were the ones paying. We were concerned.. it is like asking the cab to wiat LOL. Overall a great experience. Just be sure that you are clear with what to expect at each stop. Note Egypt is dusty, doesn't have any assistance for disability, and charges for just about everything.

Nubian Cruise and village!

Good time to visit the Nubian market, kindergarten school and a family home! Our tour guide was Arab not Nubian but he still knew a lot about the Nubian culture. We were also provided with Nubian snacks and tea which was nice. He was very accommodating to do WHATEVER we wanted to do which was a perfect private tour.

Cogimos la excursión con guia en español y nos acompaño una persona que no sabía español y tampoco conocía la historia y vida de los Nubios, por lo que tampoco nos sirvió de guía.

Amazing experience

I had an amazing time with Ahmed. He was very knowledgeable and make the journey very enjoyable with his stories. Ahmed is so passionate about the work he does and that passion makes you enjoy his company. I totally recommend him and I totally recommend visiting Aswan !

Interesting and pleasant visit. Inadequate guide.

The guide had to be in Spanish, he doesn't speak Spanish or English, and he doesn't know the customs and history of what he teaches. It hasn't explained anything we've seen. The good thing about the excursion was the boat ride between the islands of the Nile River.
