West Bank – The Necropolis of Thebes Valley of the Kings Your journey begins at the legendary Valley of the Kings, the final resting place of Egypt’s most powerful pharaohs. This UNESCO World Heritage site is a must-see, featuring elaborately decorated tombs that reveal the splendor of ancient Egyptian beliefs and artistry. During your visit, you’ll explore four royal tombs, including: The Tomb of Ramses IV – Famous for its vivid astronomical ceiling decorations. The Tomb of Ramses III – Featuring intricate wall reliefs and historical inscriptions. The Tomb of Merenptah – The grand burial site of Ramses II’s son. Tomb of King Tutankhamun (Tut), known for its historical significance and the treasures it once held.

  2. Tomb of King Tutankhamun (KV62)
    15 minut

Entrance fees to the tomb of Tutankhamun (300.00 EGP) (optional) King Tutankhamun, the most famous king in the world. This young king from the New Kingdom was around 10 years old when he ascended the throne and died when he was only 19. You will get the chance to be face to face with his royal mummy in his tomb in the Valley of the Kings

  3. Tomb of Ramses III
    15 minut

The tomb of Ramesses III, designated as KV 11, is a complex system in the Valley of the Kings. It has been known since antiquity, the wonderful decorations include colourful painted sunken reliefs featuring the traditional ritual texts (Litany of Ra, Book of Gates etc) and Ramses before the gods. Unusual here are the secular scenes, in the small side rooms of the entrance corridor, showing foreign tributes, such as highly detailed pottery imported from the Aegean, the royal armoury, boats and, in the last of these side chambers, the blind harpists that gave the tomb one of its alternative names: ‘Tomb of the Harpers’

  4. Tomb of Merenptah
    15 minut

In Egyptian mythology, Ptah is the demiurge of Memphis, god of craftsmen and architects. In the or simply in its falcon form of the new deity, began to be placed in tombs to accompany and protect the dead on their journey to the West of Luxor .Tomb 8, which is located in the Valley of the Kings, was the burial place of the Pharaoh Merneptah and is the model of royal tombs Merneptah was a son of Ramesses II and Queen Isis-Nofret.the tomb was discovered by Howard Carter in 1903. Of coursethere is a material decrease in the number of lateral rooms, and a dramatic increase in the height of the corridors and rooms. He did away with the jogged axis used since the time of Horemheb and instead built the entire tomb on a single axis. Also, for the first time, the entrance was made considerably wider than earlier tombs .

  5. Tomb of Ramses IV
    25 minut

The tomb of Ramses IV (KV 2) in the Valley of the Kings is rather different than most other tombs built here. This tomb is by far the most spectacular of the other tombs you will see. The hieroglyphics on the wall depict scenes from the Litany of Ra, Book of the Dead, Book of Caverns, the Book of the Heavens, Book of Amduat, and the Book of the Night. The blue and white colors on the walls inside the burial chamber are very vibrant and you can see the king's sarcophagus made of rose-colored granite. There is also a beautiful scene of goddess Nut on the ceiling, where she is depicted swallowing the sun, and it traveling through her stomach, for Nut to give birth to it. The tomb has so much colour and detail even the ceiling above the sarcophagi with its goddess Nut stretching across the space. The sarcophagus is one of the largest in the valley, even though some of the paintings have deteriorated this is one of the most decorated.

  6. Temple of Hatshepsut

After visiting the tombs you will be transported to the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut (Deir el Bahari), the only woman ever to reign over Egypt as Pharaoh. Amazing!

Amazing! Khalid was our guide and gave us a lesson on the history of ancient Egypt clarifying various facts and enriching the experience immensely. He's just sensational. In addition to being a highly qualified Egyptologist, he takes sensational photos. We had lunch at a typical local Egyptian restaurant, very nice. The day was just amazing! Indicate closed eyes. You can't come to Egypt without meeting Luxor.

Great tour, all the highlights of Luxor

It was a great tour :) Led by Hassan, we got picked up at our hotel on time and visited all the highlights of Luxor (valley of the kings, Hatshepsut-temple, Karnak-temple, Luxor-temple). During the drives in between the locations, Hassan explained all the historical details of the upcoming sight to us. At the locations, we were given a certain amount of time to move freely. Hassans experience as a tour guide was evident here, as the amount of time was neither too short nor too long, so we didn't had to hurry and we didn't had to wait at the end. Just a little advice if you are going to do this tour: Skip the offered display of traditional craftmanship, it'll be just a strange and very short show and afterwards you'll be led to a shop. Hassan didn't insist on this stop, though, so you can head straight to the next stop. The restaurant for lunch is obviously a partner of the company, as there were a lot of other tourist groups. But the food was very good :) As a special highlight, we even went shopping for shoes with Hassan, because one of our shoes fell apart during the tour :) In short, I can highly recommend this tour. Just skip the craftmanship-stop and you'll have a great day in Luxor :)

A highly recommended venture!

We had an excellent experience during our day tour in Luxor last week with Sir Hassan as our guide. The transport from the airport to the hotel, the visits to temples and Valley of the Kings, the Nile cruise, and the return to our hotel were all executed smoothly. Mr. Hassan's extensive knowledge of ancient Egypt's rich history ensured that we not only appreciated the stunning scenery but also gained valuable insights. We appreciated the tips and guidance from him as well. We highly recommend this agency and Sir Hassan, as the service provided is truly worth the investment. Kudos!

Incredible Private Tour In Luxor

Here’s a polished review you can leave for your Luxor tour: We had an absolutely unforgettable private tour in Luxor, Egypt! From start to finish, the experience was seamless, enriching, and beyond expectations. Our guide, Abdule, was phenomenal—his deep knowledge of Egyptian history and culture brought every temple and monument to life. He had an incredible way of explaining complex histories in an engaging and understandable way, making the tour both educational and fun. The itinerary was well-planned, and every detail was taken care of, allowing us to relax and immerse ourselves in the beauty of Luxor. Abdule also ensured we had plenty of time for photos and personal exploration at each site, which was a thoughtful touch. The private nature of the tour made it feel special and personal, and Abdule’s warm, friendly demeanor added a lot to the overall experience. I highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Luxor—you won’t regret it!

Incredible Experience!!!

I booked a Luxor private tour with a friend and it has exceeded all of my expectations. Our tour guide was Abdule and he was absolutely AMAZING! Such a knowledgeable man and showed us so many incredible places, along with explaining the history of everything. He speaks great English, so it was good that there was no language barrier. He was able to answer/explain in great detail any questions we had without hesitation. We felt very safe with him and I think this was one of the best tours I ever had. I recommend this tour to anyone looking to explore Luxor, & make sure you book it with Abdule!! Thanks again for everything!!

Expensive, but worth it.

Price was a little high, BUT: Hassan the guide was a super good and friendly person, good english with clear explanations. He didn't put us in any tourists trap-shop and suggested a very good local street food. Because of the early time in the morning, they provided two drivers, both really good.
