Your stay in Luxor would not quite be the same without a bird’s eye view of the city from one a hot air balloons. Departing from your Luxor hotel or cruise ship just before dawn, cross the River Nile to the West Bank – where your hot air balloon awaits. After a safety briefing and introduction to your ground crew and pilot, you will climb into the balloon's basket and get ready for lift off. It is then time for the gentle rise into the dawn sky. Away from the daytime crowds, you will drift peacefully over the west Bank of Luxor and sights such as the monuments of Thebes. The early morning sun rising over the East Bank will illuminate the city and the surrounding mountains.

Absolutely breathtaking experience. Mohamed at Jolie Ville was professional from start to finish and helped us book the most amazing trip. This really is a must do. Mohamed and others at AlHasanny were also great when my teenage son left his iPhone on the bus after we had got off. Within an hour we had it back. Trusted and professional service. Thank you 😊

This is one of my most amazing experiences I've ever had!!! I booked the Mohamed from Alhassany Travel at Jolie Ville Hotel... (who is amazing and a really lovely person). It was booked on last last day but one of our holiday so we were hoping that the winds that were in effect would die out and we would fly as we only had one days grace if not. It was a very early start and because the bridge was closed we had a unexpected boat ride. The weather was perfect and the fact that there was a backlog of people waiting to fly there was soooo many balloons. In the 1st light there was at least 30 balloons taking off if not more. The excitement was tangible as the sun broke over the horizon. You are in a basket with others and need to be able to climb in and out so you need to be mobile. The crew were amazing and landing was not as difficult as you'd imagine. My only wish is that it was longer. I'm returning soon and will book a later one which doesn't include the dawn but gives you more airtime. Do it (unlike my husband, who was too chicken but now regrets it) you will have your breath taken away.

We had the experience to see the sunrise on luxor and it was fantastic.the flight lasted about 30 minutes and we flew over the temple of ramses, various temples and tombs.The oasis of the Nile seen from above is a sight never seen before.Really recommended

Wow, just wow! What an amazing experience! We were picked up promptly from our hotel at 4.45am so that we could see the sunrise from the balloon. We were really well looked after by Ahmad who was good humoured and patient as he wrangled dozens of tourists into the balloons. It was incredible to suddenly see 20+ balloons gradually inflating and rising up from the ground. There were 20 people per balloon and it was easy to get in using steps. I felt very safe throughout and our pilot was skilled and careful. We had great views of the Valley of the Kings and Queens, Habu Temple and the Nile. The trip took about 45 minutes and we slowly returned to earth having been well instructed on what to expect and how to prepare for landing. Ahmad and the team helped us out and we were driven by van, boat and taxi back to the hotel. Highly recommend!

It was an amazing experience. There were a few unclear moments in the process of organizing the event but when you are in a ballon and watching the sunrise, everything becomes unimportant.
