Ahmed was geweldig! Zo vriendelijk en we hebben zoveel geleerd, niet alleen over eten, maar ook over Egypte en Caïro.
We deden verschillende eetstops, allemaal lokale plaatsen die we als toerist niet zouden hebben gevonden. We hadden veel geluk dat we de enigen waren op de tour. We hebben zoveel verschillende lokale gerechten geprobeerd, onze favorieten waren de Falafel 😍
Dank u Ahmed voor een geweldige avond, het was een echt hoogtepunt van onze reis.

Great local food tour
We really enjoyed the food tour with Ahmed and his wife. My wife, 11 year old daughter and I did the tour together. My wife and daughter are both vegetarian and Ahmed was able to accommodate us. We multiple stops for street food, juice, and dessert. None of the places were spots we could have found on our own. We did this tour on the last day of our trip. I really wish we would have done it on the first because it really helped us understand the local neighborhood better. I will be recommending Ahmed to any of my friends traveling to Cairo.

Eten en cultuur
Dit is niet alleen een food tour maar ook erg cultureel. We zijn in lokale restaurantjes geweest waar we nooit van gedroomd hadden om te eten. Ahmed was uitstekend en gaf veel informatie over de Egyotiaanse manier van leven.

Cairo street food
The trip was great :) 😊 everybody enjoyed the selection of dishes. We were in three local restaurants and a juice bar with sugar cane juice press and a dessert spot. I have never eaten so much in my entire life!

Delicious local food
Delicious local food with a small group. Ahmed was really friendly and enthusiastic. Food was delicious and atmosphere was great.

Tremendous Insider's Look at the Tastes of Cairo
To echo the sentiments of others, there is almost no way you will go wrong with this tour.
Ahmed is a gracious host / representative for his city and land and has, without giving away all the secrets and surprises, concocted a charming trip through the streets of Cairo... all the while exploring in perhaps the greatest way possible... by way of our stomach!
The outing is stitched together in a most thoughtful way and includes several awesome surprises along the way.
Cannot recommend this experience and the folks associated with it enough. Make sure to arrive hungry! You won't be disappointed.

Cool!
Really good food tour, you will taste egyptian flavors while walking around like local people do. Ahmed is a great host, we even had a subway ride lol!

Great Family Local Experience!
This was a great experience! What a great way to experience Cairo and the local cuisine.
First off the communication from Ahmed and Shorouk was great. They stayed in touch from the time of the booking all the way through the tour.
They were amazing hosts. Their knowledge of their city and food were top notch. They also have great energy and genuinely came off as loving what they do.
We met Ahmed, Shorouk and their 2 daughters at a juice bar in downtown Cairo and from there we visited several local food spots. They were very accommodating to our group of 4 as a couple of us are vegetarian. One of the highlights was a visiting a local falafel joint where they showed us how they make the falafels from scratch and then we got to enjoy the fresh, warm, crispy, tasty falafels.
We were full at the end of the tour and had to start splitting our food because of how full we were. Everything was really good! Would recommend this tour if you are staying in Cairo!

Fantastische food tour!
Niet alle tours zijn gelijk. Het is maar zo goed als de gids. Ahmed en Souk hebben zorgvuldig gekozen plaatsen bekend bij de lokale bevolking. Ik had het geluk om een solo tour te hebben met Ahmed. Overal waar we gingen, werd hij verwelkomd als familie. Hij was oprecht, vriendelijk en gul.
Ik had een geweldige ervaring. Hij was deskundig en goed van humeur. Ik beveel deze tour alleen maar om hem te ontmoeten.
