Overzicht
Geniet van de Machtige Nijl terwijl je op een traditionele Felucca-zeilboot vaart die tot nu toe door de oude Egyptenaren werd gebruikt. De boot is uitgerust met een badkamer en een zonnedek, waardoor het comfortabel is om tussen Aswan en Edfu te reizen. Dans als een Nubiaan terwijl je rond het kampvuur zit. Slaap onder de sterren en zwem in de Nijl. Chat met de lokale bevolking om meer te weten te komen over de Nubische cultuur en tradities. Bezoek het dorp Daraw dat beroemd is om de groentenmarkt en het centrum voor de verkoop van kamelen die uit Soedan zijn meegebracht. De Kamelenmarkt vindt elke zaterdag, zondag en dinsdag plaats. Bezoek de oude bezienswaardigheden langs de Nijl, zoals de Kom Ombo- en Edfu-tempels, en bovendien de unieke zandsteengroeve Gebel El-silsila.

3-night trip on the felucca from Aswan to Gebel Silsila was defenitely the most amazing experience of our 20 days trip in Egypt. The crew, Shagy and Yusri, were incredibile in making us fully enjoying this very unique cruise on the Nile. The food also far excedeed our expectation: 3 always different and abundant meals per day, prepared with fresh ingredients and great care by Yusri on the boat, which resulted in some of the bests we had in the whole trip. An experience that we definetely advise!

Entspannte genussvolle Segeltour mit bestem Essen
Es war einfach wunderbar! Die Felucca war sehr schön und sauber. Achmed spricht sehr gut Englisch und ist ein ausgezeichneter Koch. Zusammen mit Falid hatten sie das Segelboot voll im Griff. Auch die Kinder (9 und 11) waren begeistert.

1 night felucca trip from Aswan
Had a awesome day, night on the felucca with Medo and Tahla 4th/5th October. Very relaxed day with a swim along the way and food was amazing for the tiniest kitchen in Egypt. Highly recommend for a change of pace and a chance to chill.

We had a fantastic time aboard a Felucca with Medo and Tahar. They made our experience so special with their warm hospitality and amazing cooking. Communication organising the trip was excellent. I can’t recommend this company enough. It was a highlight for us in Egypt

Que du bonheur!
Nous avons passé 4 nuits sur la felouque en compagnie de notre guide et de 3 membres d'équipage. Une expérience inoubliable😍. Je voyageais contre l'avis de mes médecins après une grosse infection de l'intestin grêle, mais l'équipage a été formidable. Une attention à l'hygiène parfaite et des repas délicieux, avec peu de moyens, mais goûteux et je n'ai eu aucun problème. Naviguer au gré du vent et du courant est tellement relaxant. Les visites en route étaient fortes, notamment avec un paysan nous offrant ses dates et venant nous saluer le lendemain avec son ânesse et un petit de 8 jours. Daraw reste une expérience forte aussi. Les passages de ponts , parfois techniques (quand pas de vent) se passent dans le calme et la maîtrise. Bref! A recommander! Un mari comblé par la multitude d'oiseaux a photographier, lui qui fait de la photographie animalière. Merci pour ces 5 jours de bonheur!!

Awesome experience!
Our 3 night felucca cruise with JJ Jamaica was fabulous. We lived like kings. The 2 skippers were excellent sailors and amazing chefs. We stopped at temples, had a wild tuk-tuk ride through the market town of Daraw, and swam in the Nile every day. The beds were comfortable, the food was ample and delicious, and nothing was too much of a problem for the staff. A highlight of our trip to Egypt.

The best thing we did in Egypt
I can’t speak highly enough of this trip. My family spent 3 nights on a Felucca - my partner and 2 teenage girls. Our Captains, Meedhu and Euseree, were wonderful, the food was delicious, and the scenery was amazing. And it was so relaxing and comfortable lounging and sleeping on the massive lounge/bed area. This is a must do - the best thing we did in Egypt! So much better than the massive cruise ships pumping pollution and the Dahabyia which is mostly pulled using a tug boat.

Once in a lifetime trip
Incredible trip, we stayed on the felucca for 3 nights and had a great time meeting other travellers and experiencing the Nile! Our captain Shaggy was Incredible and the room had the most incredible tasing food 👌 Would recommend! Our only tip is to bring a cigarette to USB/USC adapter as there was only one on the boat to share between passengers and crew.
