Excellent guide, but Marsa Alam Tours wasn't great at organising everything
We really enjoyed our trip to Luxor, but there were a few things that didn't quite go as we'd thought. We'd booked a private tour, but as soon as we got into the van to go to Luxor, we noticed three other people there. They had also booked a private tour and were surprised to see us in their 'private transfer'. Then, when we got to Luxor, we were supposed to be transferred to another car - a private one this time - but it was nowhere to be found, which meant we had to carry our bags with us the whole day. Our guide Hamy was the absolute highlight of our trip and handled our disappointments very well, as well as being an excellent guide. He arranged a horse and carriage to take us to the different sights as well as to our hotel (which was the other excellent element of the tour, by the way). He also arranged a boat trip for us, which we had booked in advance, but hadn't been arranged by Marsa Alam Tours... The second day, we did finally get our private car and everything went smoothly from then on. In short, our guide Hamy and our hotel were excellent, but the organisation by Marsa Alam Tours left something to be desired.

2 daags trip van El Gouna naar Luxor
Prima gidsen, vervelend dat we een privé tour hadden geboekt er er op de heenweg nog 3 andere mensen opgehaald moesten worden waardoor de reis bijna een uur langer werd en het programma daardoor aangepast moest worden. Ik heb dit wel aangegeven en duizend excuses gekregen en een extra bezoek aan Luxor museum gekregen. Al met al schrale troost. De terugreis ging wel al gepland. Verder zeer vriendelijke mensen en zeer mooi trip.

Best Tour we have had
This tour was a private tour at half the cost that our cruse ship was charging for a group of 20 or more. Our tour guide, Heba and our driver Mohammad were excellent. Our guide made us feel like we were part of her life for 2 days. We highly recommend this tour company and this 2 day tour of Luxor. We were picked up by our driver in Safaga amd driven to our guide in Luxor. Very nice car and driver was excellent. No way would I drive here myself! Don't hesitate to take this tour!

Two day tour to luxor from Hurghada amazing experience.
We had a great time! Our tour guide Naama was amazing and she took time to explain us why each sight we see is special and left us inspired and fulfilled. We also loved her recommendations. The tour itself was very well organized - punctual and even leaving some time for relaxation and swimming in the hotel (a must do!). Thanks to Marsa Alam Tours and especially to Naama for ensuring we have a great time. We will book a tour asking for her again!

Super expérience
Le chauffeur est arrivé à 4h45 au lieu de 4h00 mais ce n'était pas grave . Ce fût une super expérience avec notre guide francophone Mohammed et notre chauffeur qui parlait couramment l'anglais ! Deux jours de visite. Il s'est adapté à nos envies et à la chaleur , ça nous allait bien d'arriver plus tôt et de profiter de l'hôtel et de sa piscine ( Nile palace ) .

Highlights of Luxor
We had a fabulous time in Luxor as a family of 6, including two teenage boys. Our guide, Hamy, was an excellent source of knowledge and really made the trip special. Our boys say the best parts were the hot air balloon with a perfect view of Luxor and the Nile from 3,000 feet, Hatshepsut’s Temple, and the Valley of the Kings. Every single sight was amazing 🤩! Highly recommended.

Must do trip to Luxor
The tour is really worthwhile. Car transfer was excellent and on time. The two guides were very good too, especially on day 2. Hotel was satisfactory, Steigenberg. The restaurants in terms of food were excellent, not atmosphere.
Payment without credit card however is complicated. The 2nd restaurant did NOT accept credit card payments which is not acceptable.

Superb experience
Everything went like clockwork. All pick ups for travel on time. Superb guide for Karnak temples and Valley of the Kings. Lovely hotel by the Nile.
Hot air balloon ride was excellent. Would thoroughly recommend this firm and would definitely use them again.

Ok trip experience in Luxor
The contact with the company started somewhat bumpy - irregular communication with no direct answers to inquiries as to programme of the trip with extras, as to costs and details regarding picking up from hotel. Last minute change for pick up time (change from 4.00 am to 6.00 am). Then it was smooth - driver was not really speaking english or german but it was clear. Itp from Marsa Alam to Luxor took ca. 5 hrs since foreigners cannot be transported with the shortest road between these 2 places (???). In Luxor private guide was joining speaking good english. All agreed points for the trip were realised. Some flexibility to the programme upon the request was also applied with no issue at all. Night sprint in the 5-star hotel but already somewhat wasted. Lunches quality so-so. I was back safe in the hotel in Marsa Alam at the planned time - generally pretty ok service.

customer service with Sarah Ali was great
We had to cancel the tour because our NCL cruise on the Jade had been canceled. We had been looking forward to it, When we emailed you to cancel, Sarah Ali responded quickly, and processed the refund (100%) immediately.
We hope to reschedule the cruise, and when we do, we'll be back in touch.
