2 jours à louxor accompagné par un super chauffeur un véhicule rien que pour nous 2, il avait prévu des bouteilles d eau. 5h de voyage en toute sécurité, notre chauffeur Wahid répondait à nos demandes et il nous commentait les lieux que nous traverssions. Merci Marsa Alam tour et merci Wahid

We did the 2-day trip from Marsa Alam to Luxor. It is definitely worth going there. The driver picked us up on time, but during the journey we held our breath at times because of the speed. It’s good to know that the route Goggle maps shows, is not the one you are taking. The trip goes via Port Safaga due to bad condition of the shorter road. Our guide was a friendly and helpful man. We did find it difficult to understand his English well because of the accent. We enjoyed the beautiful sights, which are very impressive. And we were surprised that we were hardly bothered by salespeople. On both days the tours end around lunchtime. My husband and I got very sick from the lunch at the local restaurant, which is included in the trip. We had already left the salad and only eaten the rice and Köfte, but we should have had lunch at the hotel in Luxor. The Steigenberger hotel was okay (a bit of faded glory), the room was located at the front of the street. There is honking there all day and night. We wanted a quieter room, first they told us we had to pay extra, but finally they gave us a room on the 5th floor and that made a big difference. We were very pleased with a different driver on the second day. He drove carefully and brought us back to Marsa Alam safely. So there are certain things you need to take into account, but despite the 43 degrees we still had a trip that we would not have wanted to miss.

El viaje se hace excesivamente largo desde Marsa Alam a Luxor, acaban siendo 5 horas de ida y 5 de vuelta para estar 6-7 horas en Luxor. Nos vino a buscar una furgoneta de otra compañía sin avisar, por lo que nos generó inseguridad en el momento de la recogida (nos fiamos porque tenían todos nuestros datos y los de la reserva). Las visitas a los monumentos son muy rápidas y apenas da tiempo a disfrutarlo. La guía, Nour, es agradable, explica muy bien y domina el castellano, pero eché en falta un poco de hilo conductor entre los diferentes monumentos que íbamos visitando (qué pasaba en Egipto en ese momento? Por qué ampliaban lo construido en lugar de hacer templos/tumbas nuevas?...). Te dan toda el agua que necesitas para sobrevivir los más de 40°C sin ningún problema y compran más si te acabas la que llevan. Por otro lado, te cuelan una visita a una fábrica de alabastro artesanal (sin preguntar si te parece bien o no) donde te explican cómo lo hacen con un poco de show, así que te ves en el compromiso de gastar dinero allí... Y no es barato. Esto también hace que pierdas 1 hora de visitar otros monumentos espectaculares (o pasar más tiempo en los visitados). Además de tener que aguantar a todos los tenderos vendiendo souvenirs, que son irritantemente pesados. Estos 2 últimos puntos me hicieron poner de mal humor, cosa que no deseas estando de vacaciones. Así que: - Volvería a hacer la excursión desde Marsa Alam a Luxor de 1 día? No. Muy cansada, no da tiempo a disfrutar todo y has de ir discutiendo para que no te estafen dinero. - Volvería a contratar Marsa Alam tours? Probablemente sí, porque todo salió bien. Eso sí, dejad todas las condiciones de la excursión bien aclaradas (qué incluye y qué no) porque nuestra guía no lo tenía claro y lo tuvimos que contrastar con mis mails y con la empresa.

De vallei der koningen was indrukwekkend. Met het ticket wat inbegrepen is kun je 3 graftombes bezoeken. We hebben ter plaatse tickets voor 2 extra tombes gekocht. Toetanchamon en Ramses 5/6. Die waren bijzonder mooi. De Nederlandstalige gids was goed. Er kwamen wel 2 personen bij terwijl het een privé reis was maar dat was prima. Wij hebben de steenfabriek overgeslagen en hebben genoten van een middag bij het zwembad van het hotel, aan de Nijl. Dat was heerlijk. De volgende ochtend weer vroeg op voor de ballonvaart. Echt een aanrader. Toen een ontbijtje aan de Nijl en naar de tempels van Karnak en Luxor. Daarna een Felucca tochtje over de Nijl, lunchen en weer terug naar Marsa Alam. Op deze manier was het goed te doen, met prachtige ervaringen. Wij hebben ontzettend genoten.

Just what we wanted, privite mini bus, personalized experience, both our driver and guide Khalil were professional and friendly. We saw all we wanted and nothing more, extra trips are available (Nile cruise - great experience!). Everything was taken care of, no issues whatsoever, we could enjoy the antient Egypt without unnecessary distractions. Well worth it!

Ausser das ich davon ausgegangen bin, dass wir fliegen anstatt mit dem Bus, war es sehr, sehr schön. Informativ, sehr interessant und einfach schön. Wir hatten einen super tollen Guide, der super deutsch konnte, super nett war und uns viel von Luxor zeigte. Jederzeit gerne wieder. Es kommen aber auch Extrakosten dazu.

My daughter and I had an excellent time in Luxor, and the trip from our hotel in Marsa Alam went super well. Thank you to Amal and to her boss, and to all the wonderful team of Marsa Alam Tours for organizing this trip. This is the second time I travel with this company, and it won't be the last !

We had a great overnight stay with a private chauffeur and tourguide. Everything went really smooth and we had enough time to really get a glimpse of the traditional Egypt. All thanks to our great tourguide Mansour. The hotel is located at the river Nile with beautiful sunset views. We have enjoyed sunrise during a hot air balloon trip. Achmed, our driver in Luxor and back to Marsa alam made sure we returned home safely. We would definitely recommend this trip to everyone!

I am not an easy person but this was a fantastic experience. Transport was in a spacious airco private van, the trip was with two drivers for safety who were excellent and very careful. The guide was wonderful, spoke Dutch fluently, had deep knowledge with a degree in Egyptology. And Luxor is just a very impressive place to go. Must see!
