Overall a great experience that I can recommend, however it is important for anyone booking this experience to keep in mind that it us not guaranteed to see or swim with dolphins. My partner and I saw only 3 dolphins from the boat, and they were swimming away too fast for us to be able to enter the water and swim with them. The coral reefs were beautiful however and more than made up for the lack of dolphins.
When my partner and I both became ill on the boat due to motion sickness, the guides provided ample medication and other help to ease our discomfort. Overall, do recommend!

Sataya Dolphin House
Très bon guide de snorkeling qui nous maintenait loin des groupes et nous a permis d'être quasiment seuls avec les dauphins. Le long voyage (2h de bus et 2h30 de bateau) valait la peine pour les quelques minutes avec les dauphins.
C'est dommage que certains zodiacs rabattaient les dauphins vers les touristes.
Il est très recommandé de très bien savoir nager pour en profiter au maximum : les plus jeunes et les moins jeunes fatiguent vite et n'ont pas vu autant de dauphins que les meilleurs nageurs.

Un paradiso... Un po' complicato da raggiungere
Posto paradisiaco, nuotare in mezzo ai delfini e una ricchissima barriera corallina nello stesso posto. Unica pecca 4 ore di navigazione tra andata e ritorno e servono stomaci forti perché sei in pieno mar rosso tra le onde. Pasticche per il mal di mare obbligatorie

Einmaliges Delfinerlebnis – aber leider zu viel Trubel
Wir haben den Ausflug zum Sataya Reef für knapp 190 € für zwei Personen bei TUI gebucht. Insgesamt war es ein schönes Erlebnis, allerdings gibt es einige Punkte, die man vor der Buchung wissen sollte.
Die Bootsfahrt zum Riff ist nichts für schwache Mägen. Der Wellengang war teilweise sehr stark und mehrere Gäste wurden seekrank.
Das Personal an Bord (über 10 Crewmitglieder) war anfangs sehr freundlich. Im Laufe des Tages hatte man jedoch immer mehr das Gefühl, dass aus dem Ausflug ein Partyboot gemacht werden sollte. Das war nicht ganz unser Geschmack.
Das Schwimmen mit den Delfinen war natürlich ein einmaliges Erlebnis – wir hatten Glück und konnten sie sehen. Man sollte sich aber bewusst sein, dass Sichtungen nicht garantiert sind und die Begegnungen oft nur wenige Sekunden dauern. Außerdem trieben wir nach den Begegnungen teilweise längere Zeit im offenen Meer, bis uns das Boot wieder einsammelte. Das empfanden wir als etwas unangenehm.
Das Schnorcheln am Riff selbst war für uns leider eher stressig. Unser Guide rief die Gruppe ständig zusammen und forderte uns immer wieder auf, schneller zu schwimmen. Dadurch blieb kaum Zeit, die Unterwasserwelt in Ruhe zu genießen.
Positiv hervorheben möchten wir den Fotografen an Bord. Er war mit viel Einsatz dabei und hat wirklich beeindruckende Fotos und Videos gemacht. Gleichzeitig entstand dadurch aber auch der Eindruck, dass der Fokus teilweise darauf lag, möglichst spektakuläre Aufnahmen für den späteren Verkauf zu produzieren.
Das Mittagessen war in Ordnung, allerdings war das Boot für unseren Geschmack mit geschätzt 30 Gästen recht voll. Deshalb wurden wir für verschiedene Aktivitäten in Gruppen eingeteilt.
Fazit: Wer unbedingt einmal die Chance haben möchte, mit wilden Delfinen zu schwimmen, kann hier ein unvergessliches Erlebnis haben – sofern man Glück hat. Wer jedoch einen entspannten Schnorchelausflug mit viel Zeit im Wasser sucht, könnte von der Organisation und dem Tempo eher enttäuscht sein.

Super experience
It was a amazing experience, Beautiful colours of the sea and so many dolphins in it. Friendly crew, good food. But it was a long trip from the hotel to the boat, pick up early in the morning and the sea can be wild!

Great tour with dolphins
A great tour and it was amazing to see so many dolphins! A lot of freedom to swim responsibly and you don't need to wear a lifejacket which we appreciated.

Overall we recommend it - such a cool experience to swim with the dolphins!
We had a very full and enjoyable day! The trip to get there was long, but we had a great experience swimming/snorkeling with the dolphins! There were so many dolphins, swimming all around and among us, right up close! Our guide Sayeed was very helpful, and the boat and the lunch were good. The only negatives we experienced were (1) that after the fact, we were told we need to pay for the wetsuits we used - it would have been appropriate to tell that upfront so we could make an informed choice about whether we wanted them; and (2) the photographer on the trip (from an independent business) wanted us to pay for a photo package that would be sent to us later on WhatsApp, but when we asked our hotel and Sayeed both to call the number given to us for the photography company to check, it didn't exist. We luckily did not pay, but we were disappointed as we would have liked the pictures, but did not feel comfortable paying after that. Otherwise it was all great and overall we recommend it!
