Khalid was an excellent tour guide and extremely knowledgeable! Logistics worked very smoothly - he picked us up from our hotel and the same car took us everywhere we needed to go. Overall, it was a great experience and would highly recommend!

We had an amazing wine with our tour guide Khalid! He was very knowledgeable of all the areas we went to view and his understanding of the English language was amazing. Khalid made sure that we got to see all the items we wanted to in the tour and offered alternative transportation options to get us back and forth between the east and west sides of the river so we did not have to drive the 45 minutes across the bridge and could get to the Valley of the Kings before anyone else. Khalid also made sure that we got plenty of great photos at each site. He has a great eye for photos and knew exactly where the best places to take shots were from. Would recommend Khalid again to anyone going to Luxor!

Our guide Mohammed was really friendly and informative. This tour was the highlight of our stay in Luxor. And Luxor is quite the picturesque town! PS, it seems necessary that all of these tours take you to certain shops to buy souvenirs. Try not to be annoyed as this is just the way things are here. But, also, dont feel pressured to buy stuff if you dont think you need them.

We did a day tour of Luxor with Dr. Abdul Aly. I have never had much love for anything man made, above or below the surface of the ocean, but the passion, energy, humility, kindness, and knowledge with which Dr Aly explained the Colossi of Memnun, the Valley of the Workers, the Valley of the Rulers (commonly known as the Valley of the Kings, but this valley contains the tombs of two female rulers of Ancient Egypt), Queen Hatshepsut’s Temple, Luxor Temple, and the Glorious Karnak Temple, made me fascinated with Ancient Egyptians, their culture and customs, their relationship with the natural world, and the sheer magnitude of what they achieved and how it has stood the test of time, the elements, and people. He also took us for a mouthwatering Egyptian meal followed by a 5 minute boat ride across the Nile to cross from the West to the East. My friend and I were so privileged to have an Archaeologist, Egyptologist, and Professor, as our guide, with the huge plus that he is a wonderful, kind person who clearly adores the world he is showing you. There is no one else to tour Luxor with. Shukran, Abdul 💙

Highly recommend this tour of the east and west banks of Luxor. It was our best day in Egypt overall and very well organized. Our guide Khalid was amazing and explained everything in much more detail than we would have gotten by seeing these places alone. He also knew the right order to visit the sites in to avoid the crowds as much as possible. He talked with us through the entire tour and answered all of our questions afterwards and helped us take photos next to the temples. He even talked to us about other nearby sites not in the tour that we were curious about. The tour was flexible and we were able to make changes to suit our needs. The lunch was a lovely Egyptian meal in a rooftop restaurant overlooking the Nile and Luxor temple. Finally on the way home we took a boat back across the Nile to our hotel which was a nice way to end the day. I also really appreciate that there was no coerced trip to an overpriced souvenir shop which is so common with the tours up in cairo!

Had a great time with our guide Abdul. We spent all day in Luxor; the tour was adapted to our needs and schedule, and Abdul made sure we had an amazing experience. Not to mention his expertise on Egiptian history. 10/10 I would recommend to anyone that wants to discover Luxor ancient monuments. My family enjoyed it which was the most important thing.
