Digging below the surface of Egypts fascinating past.
This was a well - organised tour and a wonderful opportunity to see and learn about the lives and history of the Pharoahs buried in the Valley of the Kings and to experience the absolute silence of the desert. Our guide Abdulla Fouad was the perfect guide. He had an extensive knowledge of each tomb, and what to see inside. He listened and answered questions clearly in excellent English. He made the history come alive so that they became real people with real ambitions and lives. He explained their gods, beliefs and rituals and the different life experiences of the different levels of society - workers, scribes, nobles, and pharoahs. It was a half day packed with a full day’s worth of facts, experiences and explanations.

The West Bank at Luxor
An excellent trip to the West Bank of the Nile at Luxor. Our guide Abdullah Fouad spoke perfect English and was very very knowledgeable about the tombs and there original occupants. He was always pleasant and eager to answer our questions no matter how trivial they were. A very well organised and full itinerary via Alhassany Travel made our Egyptian experience first class.

West and East Bank tours
Have just spent 3 exceptional days visiting all the hotspots of the East and West Banks along with visits to Alabaster and Papyrus workshops.
Trip organised by Alhansay travel.
Our guide was informative without being over talkative and managed to keep our interest throughout.
He was also more than willing to answer any question we asked, and never seemed to tire when asked by a member of the group to go over something again.
If you get the same guide, Abdullah Fouad you will not be disappointed.

Tour mit Fawakeh
Unsere Tour mit Fawakeh war einfach fantastisch! Die Reiseroute führte uns zu den beeindruckendsten historischen Stätten in Luxor, darunter der Tempel der Hatschepsut, das Tal der Könige und die Kolosse von Memnon.
Fawakeh war unglaublich kenntnisreich und hatte eine wunderbare Art, die Geschichte lebendig werden zu lassen. Besonders beeindruckend war ihre Fähigkeit, komplexe historische Zusammenhänge einfach und verständlich zu erklären. Ihr Enthusiasmus für die ägyptische Geschichte war ansteckend, und sie hat uns viele Details erzählt, die man in keinem Reiseführer findet.
Die Organisation der Tour war reibungslos, und wir hatten genügend Zeit, die Sehenswürdigkeiten zu genießen, Fotos zu machen und Fragen zu stellen. Fawakeh war immer aufmerksam und sorgte dafür, dass sich alle in der Gruppe wohlfühlten.
Ein Highlight war der Besuch des Tals der Könige. Die Geschichten, die Fawakeh über die Pharaonen und ihre Gräber erzählte, machten diesen Ort noch faszinierender. Der Tempel der Hatschepsut war ebenso beeindruckend, besonders mit den spannenden Einblicken in die Geschichte der einzigen pharaonischen Frau, die Ägypten regierte.
Alles in allem war die Tour hervorragend, und ich würde sie jedem empfehlen, der die Wunder von Luxor entdecken möchte. Danke, Fawakeh, für diese unvergessliche Erfahrung!

We visited the West Bank and it was a very enjoyable trip! The guide taught us much about the sites and its history. We saw 3 graves from the inside, the Hatshepsut temple and the Colssi of Memnon.
