メムノンの巨像は、エジプトのルクソール市近くのナイル川西岸にある 2 つの巨大な石像です。これらは、紀元前 14 世紀 (紀元前 1350 ～ 1334 年頃) にファラオ アメンホテプ 3 世が建設した、より大きな葬祭殿の遺跡です。 これらの像は、アメンホテプ 3 世が玉座に座っている様子を描いており、各像の高さは約 18 メートル (60 フィート)、重量は約 700 トンです。これらは、珪岩砂岩の単一のブロックから彫られ、もともとファラオの神殿の入り口に置かれていました。これらの像は、神殿を守り、ファラオの神聖な力と権威を表すために作られました。

I went on this guide with Mohamed Awad, he was very knowledgeable, offered good suggestions about what to see and friendly. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Luxor. It's amazing how much history there is and having a guide helps so much and makes the trip so easy. Also would recommend one including admission to make it even easier

The tour was amazing, we did enjoy it a lot, our tour guide Ahmed Abdullatif was a very nice guy, we had a wonderful time with him and our driver Mahmoud drives very well and we had a really comfortable time in his car.

Our guide, ABDO, and our driver came to pick us up at our hotel on time. During the drive to the Valley of the Kings, they gave us lots of information about Egyptian history and knowledge. They explained the meanings and stories behind the reliefs in an easy-to-understand way, which made the tour of the ruins even more interesting.

Our guide, Nasser, was very knowledgeable and friendly and we really enjoyed our tour. Having seen some sights in Luxor without a guide, we really appreciated how much difference it made having Nasser with us to explain the history and point out things that we would otherwise have missed. Our driver was also very friendly. Everything went smoothly and was hassle free. I would recommend this tour to others.

Mon mari et moi ont passe un excellent matinee de 4h30 avec notre guide Aladin, qui nous a amene aux valle des rois, au temple de Hapchepsut, et aux Colossus de Memnon, avec une petite etape pour voir une cite d alabaste. Aladin nous a parfaitment raconte ce qu il fallait savoir pour bien apprecier chaque etqpe de notre sortie ce matin. Et, tous etaitent oubliable! Merci, Aladin.
