Family trip to Luxor
Excellent day with a few caveats. Organisation of tour company very good. Reply to queries quickly and like another review supplied some tablets for one of our group with an Egyptian belly, which got them through the day. Lots of free water and soft drinks provided throughout day and smiling faces. The tour guide ‘said’ was very good, informative and knew a vast amount of knowledge. Luxors sights were great, it really is something you should do if staying in Hurghada, the valley of the dead and the tombs were our highlight. We had an 8 and 10 year old and they coped with the 40+ temps better than we did. If you have children with you just be prepared for a 16hr day and super hot. We loved it still, not all kids will!
Overall definitely recommend. If it’s pyramids or temples (Luxor), pick Luxor from Hurghada. Cairo just too far in a day.

Super équipe serviable avec boisson offerte durant le trajet. Le chauffeur nous a fait arrivée avant tout le monde sur les lieux de visite avant l’arrivée de grand nombre de touriste ce qui nous a permit de prendre le temps et de belle photo

Abtauchen in Luxors Vergangenheit
Früh morgens wurden wir mit etwas Verspätung abgeholt, was aber nicht die Schuld von Veranstalter Ramashka Tours war, sondern durch Warten - weil andere Mitreisende einfach nicht pünktlich waren oder sogar nicht erschienen sind.
Los ging es mit einem klimatisierten Mini-Bus mit WiFi und Bordfernseher.
Da wir wieder die einzigen Deutsche bei der Tour waren, haben wir einen persönlichen Reiseführer mit Namen Ismael für Sehenswürdigkeiten in Luxor gehabt. An dieser Stelle nochmal einen herzlichen Dank an Ismael für die ausführlichen Informationen und den unvergesslichen Tag, da er kein Programm abspielte, sondern individuell auf unsere Fragen einging.
Es war ein straffes Programm für den Tag, wo man nur ein winzigen Teil der ägyptischen Geschichte sehen kann. Ein heißer Tag und der Reiseveranstalter Ahmed von Ramashka Tours hat uns immerwieder kostenlos kaltes Wasser gereicht. Es muss auch einen bewusst sein, dass man nicht alle Gräber im Tal der Könige 👑 sehen kann - zumal manche Gräber separat kosten. Wir haben auf Ismael gehört und uns die Gräber vom Ramses I, Ramses III und Ramses IX angesehen - zum Glück sahen wir dort farbenprächtige Grabkammern. Auch die anderen Stationen wie Karnak Tempel, der Hatschepsut Tempel und die Kolosse von Memnon. Eine Tour abseits des Massentourismus hervorragend von Veranstalter Ramashka Tours umgesetzt.
Nochmal ein herzliches Dankeschön für den unvergesslichen Tag.

Jam-packed, Educational and Worth It.
Our driver Ahmaed picked us up on time and was very informative, kindly stopped off for 5 minutes to take a picture of the sun rise in Hurgada. He also provided small change for the toilets free of charge and never asked for it back. Luckily for us there was only 4 on board including us, so it felt like a very personal tour. On the way back snacks were provided with fresh juice.
Said, our tour guide for the day was extremely knowledgeable and very informative. He worked very hard in the heat trying to guide us to each location. There was a lot to see, the day was jam packed. It did feel a little rushed at times and we would liked to have had more time to see more of the Kings Valley, as this was one of the most interesting parts of the day. However, we understand time was not on our side so will have to come back.
I had a bad tummy during my stay and Said kindly arrange medication and extra water, however I didn’t need it as I had seen the doctor the day before, but it was a kind gesture.
Definitely recommend, but just be aware there is not enough time to relax at each stopping point to appreciate everything at a slower pace.
Overall definitely a 5 star trip with room to improve to 6 stars 😊.
If it’s a choice over the pyramids or this, choose this.
PS: Be careful with the shops near each tourist spot, you will be harassed and sold cheap rubbish, avoid at all costs. At the end of the trip you will have the chance to buy much better quality items but be prepared to haggle very hard.

absolutely fun & gradually climatic
very kind & nice tour team with a excellent learned guide. covered everything in 1 day & we travelled from Hurgada. we had very young impressionable children with us & they enjoyed all of it without getting bored .

Amazing day
Just travelling back to our hotel on our air conditioned mini bus after a brilliant day with our driver Ahmed and our guide Said. We visited the Karnak temple, 3 tombs in the valley of the kings and the mausoleum of queen hashmeput. This along with a 45 min boat ride on the Nile (£10 extra and well worth it).
Said was a great guide informative, helpful and enthusiastic he explained everything in great detail in very good English
Ahmed, our driver arrived on time and got us there very quickly beating the later crowds Throughput the day he kept us going with a constant supply of water and soft drinks
The sights were amazing and we can thoroughly recommend both the tour and Ramashka tours, many thanks both of you.
