Just WOW!!!
We booked the 4 hour snorkelling with dolphins trip back in the UK. As with a lot of these types of excursions there are always several companies offering similar experiences, however feedback from other tripadvisor users convinced me to book with EgyptBoats and I am so pleased we did.
Albert at EgyptBoats was so helpful and informative. We were not left guessing on any of the details of what the trip involved. He arranged a private car to collect us from our hotel and return us after the trip finished. Yes, we could have taken a taxi, but for those that have taken taxis in Hurghada before, you may know why I plugged for this option?!
Our driver escorted us to jetty at the marina where we met up with Bogy, our guide and Mahmoud, our captain. These two guys were amazing and made sure we were safe and happy throughout the trip. Paying extra for this sort of trip to have the luxury of a private speed boat is well worth the money. It is less obtrusive to the wildlife, can anchor at islands that the bigger boats cannot and just makes the whole experience feel that more special.
We had only been out at sea for about 15mins when our guide spotted a group of dolphins. We were given lifejackets, snorkels, masks and flippers and were asked to be ready to follow Bogy into the water. What an experience, we swam with over 20 dolphins, including calves with their mother's. Mahmoud kept the boat at a safe distance and Bogy made sure both my partner and I were in the best place to be able to see and snorkel with them.
The dolphin snorkelling was followed by a trip to a completely deserted island, which was like something out of paradise. My other half said it was the most romantic place she had ever visited, it was stunning. Golden sand, beautiful wildlife, warm ocean.
Our captain then took us to one of the Red Sea coral reefs where we snorkelled again and saw a huge array of fish and other sea creatures, absolutely amazing.
The trip concluded with another snorkelling experience over a shipwreck. This is something I have always wanted to do and it did not disappoint. Bogy used my underwater camera and filmed us swimming over the ship, something we can keep forever.
We we so impressed with the whole experience that I contacted Albert the following day and booked another trip with him for later in the week.
If you decide to do something like this whilst you are in Hurghada, I cannot recommend these guys enough, thank you so much.

An amazing experience
We had a private tour, with just our family on the boat, which was definitely worth it. The captain of our boat knew exactly where to find the dolphins, so we got to interact with them several times and swim really close to them. The captain was also very professional, being fun but serious and answering all our questions as good as possible. Besides the dolphins we also visited a reef and a small sand bank island where we got to see the other sea creatures that live in the red sea.
Overall we really recommend this company and the captain.

Escape the crowds
Vi tog flera privata turer med Egypt Boats. Perfekt service, bra guider och båtar. Vi valde Egypt Boats för att vi ville slippa dom stora båtarna med en massa folk, vi ville ha reven och delfinerna för oss själva och det fick vi med Egyp Boats.

Christmas dolphin hunt
Well the hunt for a Christmas day dolphin was a failure but you cant control nature.
The trip was amazing both my children loved it especially when they got to drive.
We visited a little island that we had all to ourselves and looked for shells and corals.
Both the captain and the captain mate were amazing and helped my little girl whilst snorkelling. Cant really recommend this trip enough.
Also we payed extra to be collect by a private car and professional driver this is must a taxi in Egypt is not fun they are old banged up cars driven by nutters.

Amazing trip
Amazing trip which I would highly recommend. Special mention to Ahmed the guide brilliant English and great conversation, Mahoud was an amazing driver too and also Husen who was excellent.
Went on my own and am a very un confident swimmer but they looked after me brilliantly and gave proper guidance and made it seem like a seamless experience. Highly recommend

Definitely recommend the trip!
Unfortunately we didn’t have a good start due to tour and pick up delayed (that’s why I reduced one star on rating). But after got into the speedboat, we started to enjoy the trip. We had sufficient time to watch and swim with more than 20 dolphins. Snorkeling was good as well and we could stay in the sea as long as we wanted. We also enjoyed the time spent on private island. Thank you, Ahmed, Mahmoud and Hussein!

Fantastique !
Loin de la foule, enfin une excursion sur mesure avec sécurité ! Ce qui n'est pas le cas des autres bateaux remplis de touristes! Certes, c'est un peu plus cher, mais ça vaut vraiment le coup! Mon guide Jamal et le capitaine du hors bord furent au top et hyper gentils.
Pour une sortie sur mesure, je les recommande vivement. Vous verrez 4 fois plus de choses avec eux que sur les bateaux classiques, foncez!

flawless boat with brilliant captain and friendly easy-going guide!
The boat was in flawless condition and equiped with a 200 HP outboard. Our skipper was very capable and brilliantly maneuvered us through the slightly wavy red sea.
We enjoyed the tour and had a blast!

Super Erlebnis
Die Tour war klasse, ein einmaliges Erlebnis. Da man sehr flexibel ist. Alle waren sehr nett und es war gut organisiert. Auch die Delfine waren zu sehen. Ein Erlebnis, das wir jedem Empfehlen können.

Great trip with snorkeling and dolphins!
Someone picked us up at our hotel and took us to the marina. We had a boat driver and a guide, Jamal. Jamal was great! He guided us at the first coral reef, which was beautiful. Then we came upon a family of dolphins! Our boat driver followed them so we could swim with them. They took us to a private island, which wasn't that great to be honest; skip it if you can. And then we ended the trip with another coral reef. Total trip was about 3.5 hrs.
