The tour guide Mo and just the refreshing of Alexandria and so much history was great. The driver and tour guide were gems and made the trip very enjoyable.

Completely glazed over the itinerary
The daytrip had about 6 to 7 stops, with only two places that we were actually able to enter (The catacombs and the church of Saint Mark). The day felt very rushed with the guide completely glazing over everything. For Alexandria, you'd imagine the main attractions would be the statue of Alexander the great, and the Roman archaeological site. Due to Friday, we couldn't see the library from the inside however the tour guide didn't even bother mentioning that the statue of Alexander the great is inside. Similarly, we stopped for lunch at a rooftop restaurant opposite to the Roman amphitheater and upon asking the guide, we were told that why'd you want to see it from up close when you have a better view from up here. The tour completely glazed over the history of Alexandria in Roman times and felt very haphazardly planned.

We had a friendly guide and the tour was well organised. I don't think they made any mistakes — it was a beautiful city and well worth a visit! I would highly recommend it!

Excellent day trip from Cairo to Alexandria
This was an excellent day trip from Cairo to Alexandria! Our guide Waleed made sure we had a great time, even finding some extra time to enjoy Kavafis‘ museum, which was very important to our group! Thank you for the amazing experience!

Good one day trip
Our guide, Mohamed, was the best we’ve had on our Egypt trip so far. He was incredibly knowledgeable and the only one we met who could read hieroglyphics. During our tour of Alexandria, he shared fascinating facts, beloved stories and backstories about the places we visited, making it a truly memorable day. He was also the only one who didn’t asked for tips; as a PhD holder and professor in the field, it seemed he was doing it for passion rather than profit. We were lucky to have him. Fish that we tried in lunch was fresh and testy. I liked that too. Many places we visited in person but for few places, we just stoped outside to click pictures.

Très belle journée à Alexandrie, mais un point d’organisation à améliorer
Alexandrie est une très belle ville et l’excursion reste globalement positive. La guide était excellente, professionnelle et très investie, et n’est absolument pas en cause. En revanche, nous avions demandé un guide francophone, mais la visite s’est faite en anglais, ce qui a limité la compréhension pour nos enfants (13 et 7 ans). De plus, le fort de Qaitbay, pourtant annoncé, n’a pas été visité. Nous avons demandé un remboursement partiel de 60 %, qui a été refusé. Malgré cela, grâce au guide et à l’intérêt du site, l’expérience reste agréable. Avec une meilleure organisation, cette excursion pourrait mériter 5 étoiles.

Beautiful Alexandria
We spent a lovely day with Norhan (our guide) and Ahmed (driver) visiting Alexandria’s main higjlights. Starting from the the beautiful Montazah Palace to the east, to the Citadel in the west, and the fabulous library of Alexandria in between, among other sites. Norhan was a pleasure to spend the day with, so kind, friendly and with lots of tips about the city and life here. Alexandria deserves more than just one day, but this was a great overview. We hope to be here again.

Had a lovely tour with Macy. She was well-informed, very nice, flexible, funny, and took the best photos, too! Essam was also a great, friendly driver. 100% recommended!

Fantastic 1 day Alexandria day tour from Cairo with tour guide Norhan.
It was fantastic. It was not very hectic and a very good explanation was provided for all places of interest by our wonderful soft spoken guide Norhan. The lunch location was fantastic overlooking the roman ruins and the food was 10 out of 10. The communication for pickup and regular update from the tour operator was commendable. Pick up was punctual and the van was very comfortable as well.Overall a wonderful experience.
