This is a really nice trip to take and very doable in a day. We wanted to escape the pyramids and the temples for a day and get a snap shot of life in a coastal city like Alex. Mohammed was a wonderful guide and we truly enjoyed his tour and his knowledge of Alex .

Racchiudere tutta la storia di Alessandria in una giornata non è semplice. Con questo tour siamo riusciti a vedere le cose principali, stare in buona compagnia, anche aiutati dal fatto che Mohammad è veramente una brava guida, con inglese fluente, comprensibile anche quando questa non è la tua prima lingua. For individuals contemplating a side excursion to Alexandria from Cairo, it is important to note that a significant portion of the day, specifically five hours or more, will be allocated to travel time. This may result in a limited duration for exploring Alexandria itself. Furthermore, even when selecting the VIP option, participants will be grouped with other travelers, potentially up to ten individuals. Consequently, the morning itinerary will involve multiple stops at various hotels for pick-ups, and a similar process will occur for drop-offs in the evening. Our experience involved a pick-up at 6:45 AM and a return around 5:15 PM. This particular tour offers an opportunity to experience Alexandria, albeit briefly. We visited the library for a short period, which is anticipated given the time constraints. The catacombs proved to be a highlight of the visit. We concluded the day with a pleasant dinner at a seafood restaurant offering views of the Mediterranean Sea. In summary, while it was an experience, it is not one I would personally repeat.

Amount of time we spend in Alexandria felt just right. Our guide was so knowledgeable, he made it a great tour! Lunch by the sea was a great touch. Didn’t perfectly follow the itinerary, but still an amazing day in Alexandria!

Mohammad was a great guide, funny, with lots of interesting stories. He was very patient with the group and we really enjoyed our time with him. Alexandria is a great city and I would definitely recommend this tour, especially Catacombs.

It was a long day, 0630 start as it was 3 hours drive. The driver was great and did a coffee stop. Of the many stops, i enjoyed the catacombs most. I would have loved to go to the jewellery museum as well. It was jam packed and the guide was knowlegable. Lunch was late so have a hearty breakfast.

We purchased a day tour in Alexandria. Our tour guide, Noor, and our driver, Ahmad, were very friendly when they met us. Noor was very knowledgeable about every place we visited. He's a very good guide. Besides that, he was very helpful in assisting us with our purchases. By the end of the day, he had become more than just our guide; he was like a friend to us. We had an absolutely amazing experience on our tour in Alexandria! Our tour guide, Noor, was exceptional. Her knowledge of Egyptian history was impressive, but what made her stand out was the passion and warmth with which she shared it. She was always patient, friendly, and happy to answer all our questions, making us feel comfortable and engaged throughout the entire experience. A big thank you also to our driver, Essam, who was professional, kind, and made us feel completely safe at all times. Navigating through busy streets and long distances with such calmness and reliability is not an easy task, and he did it perfectly. His positive attitude and smile added even more to the overall experience. It was truly an experience of a lifetime, and we are incredibly grateful to Noor and Essam for making it so special!
