History, Culture and Relaxation!
We had an amazing guided trip to Alexandria, and having transportation included made the entire experience completely stress-free. From pickup to drop-off, everything was seamless and well-organized. Our guide, Shaimaa, was incredibly knowledgeable and brought Alexandria’s rich history to life… from the Catacombs to the Citadel of Qaitbay. She shared fascinating stories while still giving us time to explore and take photos. The transportation facilitated by our amazing driver Emille, was comfortable, air-conditioned, and punctual, which made a huge difference, especially after a full day of sightseeing. Overall, it was the perfect balance of history, culture, and relaxation. Highly recommend this tour for anyone wanting to experience Alexandria without worrying about logistics!

Saving Time and Seeing the Best of Alexandria
I took this tour as an all-inclusive package, and I really liked the approach. It's important to understand that you’re paying for your time here. It’s similar to buying business class plane tickets — in reality, you’re paying for the extra space around you (because often, the food is almost the same as in Premium Economy). In this tour, you're paying to save time. Plus, you see everything that’s important to see in Alexandria. Don’t forget, it takes about three hours to get there and back from Cairo. By the time you arrive, you’re already exhausted. I can’t imagine navigating Alexandria without a private car and guide. My guide, Ella, was excellent — very knowledgeable and made everything easy to understand. My driver, Ahmed, was also great — always on time, and I felt completely safe with him behind the wheel. If you’re a female traveler, especially from the West, a private guide and trusted driver are essential for both safety and peace of mind. The driver was ready at 6:55 AM, I was ready at 7:05 AM, and our agreed-upon time was 7 AM. Looks like I’m always a bit late here in Cairo! I’ve been in Cairo for three days now: one full of work, another for the all-inclusive pyramids, Sphinx, etc., and this is the third. Tomorrow I leave, and the day I took this excursion was February 9th. Alexandria is a city rich in history — from the ancient Library of Alexandria to the impressive Citadel and the catacombs, there’s so much to see. If you see time as money, then I highly recommend this tour. But if you’re someone who wants to hear long stories and spend extra time on things, then first, buy some history books and read them at home, or second, go to a safe city and spend time there on your own. If you're a Western person, especially female (like me), it’s crucial to be on a private tour with a trusted guide and driver when in Egypt. I really liked how everything was organized here, and it definitely made my experience much more enjoyable and stress-free. P.S. Ella took great photos of me, and we even had some fantastic selfies, but I’ll be keeping those for myself and my loved ones. Believe me, she is a truly kind and wonderful person. At the start of the tour, she’ll ask you what you want to see, and then everything will be smoothly organized from there. Oh, and I almost forgot to mention — I had an amazing lunch of chicken, rice, and soup. It was perfect! The food reminded me of my mom’s cooking, with lots of spices and a very homemade feel.

All day tour of Alexandria...
We did an all-day tour of Alexandria with our guide, Shaimaa, and she was absolutely incredible. Kind, funny, and incredibly knowledgeable… she made the entire day feel effortless and fun. She showed us so much of the city, shared great stories and history, and made everything feel personal and authentic. I would recommend her to anyone without hesitation.

Amazing day tour , book this tour, you won’t be disappointed
Excellent tour , from start hotel pick up to finish. Everything is perfect. Shaimaa was an amazing Egyptologist guide, very knowledgeable, personable, and I learnt an amazing amount. Very interesting day trip, lots of time at each location excellent driver . thank you so much to you all. Great value and I thoroughly recommend this trip.

Best choice for a day trip to Alexandria from Cairo
Excellent day trip from Cairo. I feel I saw all the main sights of Alexandria and not in a rushed time frame. The driver picked me up on time. Abdelaziz is his name and he was an excellent driver for the day. He didn’t speak much English but was super friendly and we were able to communicate. We stopped along the desert express road for a coffee and snack. Once in Alexandria we met with the tour guide Shaiima Gaber. Shaimaa is amazing. Her knowledge of Alexandria history is massive. We started at the catacombs (which was my favorite place for the day) and did an extensive tour and discussion Then to the Roman theater, St Marks Coptic church, and then the famous Alexandria Library. All were interesting and Shaimaa gave a thorough review of the significance of each place and its history. Then a delicious lunch at Branzino for fish and mezze. Next was the Qaitbay Citadel which is rebuilt but on the land that the original lighthouse was built. Finally we visited the famous mosque of Abu al-Abbas al-Mursi So a full day and all the main important sights made this a great tour. When I am back I will request Shaimaa and Abdelaziz for my tours. Shukkran!! It was perfect.
