Hamdy is extremely knowledgeable about all of Egypt’s rich history. You will not go wrong booking a tour with Hamdy. He is a joy to spend your day with, an excellent photographer, and extremely hospitable. We left our tour feeling like we gained a friend. If I could give Hamdy 10 stars, I would!

We had an absolutely fantastic day with Asma visiting the Pyramids, the Sphinx, enjoying a camel ride, and exploring the Grand Egyptian Museum. Asma is an amazing guide. Incredibly knowledgeable, kind, and genuinely passionate about Egypt’s history. I was travelling with my mum and translating for her, and Asma was so caring and supportive throughout the day. She picked us up from our hotel, arranged a delicious lunch, and tailored the experience perfectly to us. She also knew all the best spots for photos! The trip was very reasonably priced and we felt we got the best value for the money. As two women visiting Egypt for the first time, we felt completely safe and very well looked after. We were so pleased with the experience that we booked Asma for two additional days, and by the end of our stay it felt like I have a sister in Egypt now. If you can tour with Asma, don’t hesitate, she is absolutely wonderful. Highly recommended! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

The visit to the pyramids was overall a memorable experience. Seeing the pyramids in person is truly impressive, and the logistics of the tour were generally well arranged. Transportation was smooth and the schedule was managed efficiently. Our tour guide was quite young and seemed relatively new to the job. He was polite and clearly trying his best, which we appreciated. However, he appeared a bit lacking in confidence and the explanations sometimes felt hesitant and quite basic. As visitors, we usually prepare before trips like this. We had already read books and watched documentaries about ancient Egypt, so we were hoping for deeper insights, stories, or perspectives beyond the standard introduction. Most of the information shared during the tour felt fairly general and routine. We understand that guiding is a demanding and repetitive job, and new guides need time to build experience. However, for many travelers, visiting the pyramids is a once-in-a-lifetime experience, so expectations for the guiding experience are naturally quite high. Another small but disappointing issue was that we are quite sure we left a pair of reading glasses in the car during the return trip. Unfortunately, we were unable to trace them afterward, which was a bit upsetting. One suggestion for Viator would be to provide clearer information about the tour guides before assigning them—such as experience level, ranking, or areas of expertise. This would help travelers better understand what to expect and choose guides that match the level of depth they are looking for. Overall, the trip itself was enjoyable, and the guide was friendly and well-intentioned, but with more experience and deeper storytelling, the tour could become much more memorable.

I appreciated that Amal, our tour guide got in touch with us on WhatsApp a day ahead of the experience. Pickup by the modern mini van was exactly on time and effortless. We went straight to the pyramids and learned a lot about the history and cultural background. We got answers no matter what type of questions we had. Camel ride was really fun, we definitely got perfect pictures at the end. After the pyramids, we visited three different souvenir shops (parfume, spices, papyrus), and had a quick sandwich for lunch in the car. I recommend the tour as transportation made it easy for us to get around and having a guide made the experience interactive. On the other hand, they have free bus shuttle service inside the pyramids area, so you can have the full experience for much less without this option if you already know much about the history/culture yourself.

We did the half day trip with Hamdy visiting the pyramids and the sphinx. We had a great time stopping at different points hearing about the pyramids and we had a very fun and enjoyable time with Hamdy. Would thoroughly recommend to everyone and combining with the GEM in the second half of the day

DO THIS! Our guide Yasmeen was delightful, accommodating, very knowledgeable and a great person. What joy she has for her city and joy to share all she knows. The logistics were very easy. Usama was a safe driver and stayed with the car so we could leave stuff in it. We chose the driver and guide half day and customized our experience when we arrived to the pyramids. The new system of hop on/off free buses was convenient. Zero traffic and lines. Nice stop at a local place afterwards. Car was very clean and spacious. Excellent experience all around.
