Trip of a lifetime! Great tour and the best tour guide!
We booked the Sonesta Moon Goddess 3days/4nights through Hany @ Luxor&Aswan Travel. Hany was so responsive and he managed our booking at late very late notice. We really wanted a specific boat and Hany made sure we were booked on the right one. We also added in an early morning visit to Abu Simbel as it’s not included in the usual cruise itinerary.
When we arrived, we discovered we had a private tour with Mohamed, our Egyptologist and tour guide! Mohammad was amazing. Mohammad is knowledgeable, passionate and energetic. Aswell as a highly experienced tour guide and Egyptologist, he is also an excellent teacher! We were so happy to experience Egypt with him as our guide! His diagrams of temples will definitely be framed.
He took such wonderful care of us and made suggestions to the standard travel itinerary that worked really well for us. For example, instead of going to Edfu Temple early one morning, we went to the Temple of Habu on the last day. Edfu temple is usually experienced as an early morning scramble and due to crowds, not that enjoyable for 6am start! We were grateful for his recommendations. We also added on a visit to Dendra Temple, the temple to Hathor and this was a highlight!
We cannot recommend Mohammed more highly, the ease and simplicity of booking via Hany at Luxor & Aswan travel. Egypt is a chaotic place at times, so to have this organisational support is a must!
And if you can, stay an extra day or 2 in Luxor! It’s a beautiful place to experience and we wish we’d had more time.
Tips: bring some US currency if you can. If you can pay for something is US currency you can always find a better price.
Choose a quality boat, it will cost you a bit but it makes the journey that much more enjoyable.

Customized Tour of Egypt
We had a custom made tour that included private transfer from Marsa Alam to Aswan, Nile River Cruise on the Sonesta St. George from Aswan to Luxor and then 2 day private tour in Cairo. Hany from LuxorandAswan Travel did a super job coordinating our trip, staying in touch while in Egypt and ensuring all went smoothly! The drivers for each day were competent, friendly and safe. Our tour guide on the River Cruise was Messoud and he was extremely informative, friendly and helpful! Our tour guide in Cairo was Fatima and she was also very informative, very flexible and accommodated our requests so that we experienced Cairo up close and personal! I highly recommend using LuxorandAswan Travel for your touring needs. Every single detail went extremely smoothly and Hany was always very responsive when we had questions or wanted additional information. We thoroughly enjoyed our time learning more of Egyptian culture and history. If you are considering using LuxorandAswan Travel, do it! It was top notch, professional, great value and easy!

Luxor & Aswan Travel is the best company! Amazing is an understatement.
Mr. Hany our advisor was fantastic! We actually had 9 days all over Egypt, every single need, want was taken care of. Our guide, Hassan Sayed is more than informative, he is an Egyptologist. This was my "once in a lifetime trip" and they exceeded every sing expectation with ease and kindness. I truly can't say enough great things about Mr. Hany, his company and Hassan. Egypt is not a trip but an experience. The people, the food, the culture, the sights repeatedly take your breath away. I can't thank them enough from creating an experience that will last me til the end of time. From the moment we landed, until we left, their attention to detail, needs are unparalleled. We always felt safe, we saw every site and then some. If you decide to go to Egypt (which I highly recommend) then look no further than Luxor and Aswan Travel to take care of your trip.
