While our visit turned out to be a very long day for us coming from Cairo and made our schedule in Alexandria feel somewhat rushed, my husband and I both thought that our guide there, Rasha Aggog, was extremely accommodating to our needs and wishes and knowledgeable about the sites. It was wonderful to get some perspective about the historical importance of the city’s geography and history and the influence of its namesake, Alexander the Great. The new library was stunning and certainly not to be missed. We would have liked to have had more time to spend there to peruse some of the art exhibits of current Egyptian artists.

We had a most enjoyable and informative tour of the Alexandria highlights from Rasha. Rasha is fluent in English, has a very pleasant manner, is most informative and experienced and clearly has a passion and love of her city. We were only sad that we did not have longer to visit and be able to learn more of the cities history from our knowledgeable guide. Thank you Rasha, for a great day. We highly recommend you to visitors to you beautiful city.

We took a day tour out of Cairo to Alexandria with Ramses Tour company. Our guide was Rasha. She was an excellent guide who was very knowledgeable of the sites as well as Alexandria and Egypt in general. She was very engaging and made you feel like a valued guest. The driver we had was also very good with enough english to answer our basic questions. The car was comfortable and one of the few in Egypt we were in that had seat belts.

We had a lovely tour of Alexandria guided by Rasha, who always provided details and insights about all the places we visited in our itinerary. She was very flexible and responsive to our needs and she took us to a nice restaurant at sea side where we had a great launch with a beatiful sea view.

We didn’t start the day out with Rasha, we had another guide - but she didn’t work out. After an hour trying to converse we contacted our tour operator who immediately had Rasha replace the her. Rasha arrived at our location within fifteen minutes and from that moment we had the BEST day in Alexandria! Rasha is friendly and welcoming and has a wonderful Sense of humour. She is an expert in her knowledge of her City. She tailored our day based on our evolving needs and made sure we spent time and learned as much as we could in each location. Her English is supremely good. We would recommend Rasha without hesitation. She knows her stuff! Even though our trip was 18 months ago, we are still friends to this day. A testament to the word derail person she is.
