Cairo - Pyramids-Spinx-River Nile trip
A really enjoyable trip to Cairo visiting the Pyramids, Sphinx .Nile
Our driver to sharm el sheik airport ensured we arrived on time in Cairo. The flight from sharm to Cairo with Egyptian airline was only 45 mins.Our driver in Cairo was late, but he did look after us well and drove us to pyramids and to collect our tour guide.
Bazeem, our tour guide kept us informed and plans for the day . His knowledge and easy going personality made our tour enjoyable and interesting facts about the Pyramids.
We also booked a photographer , who was brilliant. We had our photos taken on horses ( with option to choose camels if preferred ) near the pyramids.
The new museum an amazing building with interesting artefacts & of-course Tutankhamen .. Well worth the visit .
We thought the lunchtime buffet could have been better.
After the museum our driver took us to the Nile for our boat trip .. A real disappointment.. We had 10-15 mins going from one side of the bank back to where we started. The trip advertised 45 mins down the Nile. Felt we were rushed at the end of the day before heading back to airport.
I must say , Ahmed who communicated via what’s app well before the trip during and after was brilliant .. Answered us promptly and reassured us if we had questions about the trip ..

Best day ever!!
What a magical trip! Very well organised from our hotel pickup to our return drop off. Ahmed sent detailed messages (via WhatsApp) right from us booking the trip, with everything we needed to know: hotel pickup up time & advice; itinerary for the day; museum options; flight tickets; visa & airport info and pick up info in Cairo. And then checked that we had been picked up ok from our hotel. Thank you Ahmed for your wonderful service!!
Our driver for the day met us at Cairo airport, a really lovely young man who, thank goodness, navigated us safely through the craziest traffic we have ever seen, in Cairo and Giza. That in itself was an experience!! So, huge thanks to him for driving us around and always being there without us having to wait for him.
This of course was coordinated by our amazing guide for the day - Shimaa - who is such a calm and kind lady and impressed us with her detailed knowledge and love for both her city and for ancient Egypt. She happily explained everything we were seeing and answered our questions (possibly the same question more than once - so much information to take in!), explaining our itinerary and making sure we had enough time to explore wherever we went and taking pictures of us. Our day was so well organised and we were never rushed. In hindsight we could probably have spent longer looking around the GEM by ourselves after Shimaa had given us her initial tour, which itself was very comprehensive. Such an impressive museum. Thank you Shimaa so much for being such a patient and wonderful guide. We would happily recommend you to anyone! 😊
The Pyramids and Sphinx - we were just blown away by them. After wanting to see them from learning about ancient Egypt as a child, it was a dream come true. Absolutely incredible experience and not busy at all, as we were there first thing in the morning and so were able to get some amazing photos 😍
Lunch in an authentic buffet-style restaurant was included (pay only for drinks) as was a visit to the Papyrus Museum, which was very interesting learning how it’s made, with the option to buy a souvenir of course - there’s a lot of room to haggle for a good deal!
The felucca boat trip on the Nile was a lovely end to our trip. We had the boat to ourselves which we hadn’t expected!
A few words of advice - make sure you can get WhatsApp the whole time and not just via WiFi - this caused us a couple of little hiccups! And take plenty of lower value EGP notes for tipping everybody…
All in all, an unforgettable experience and memories that will last forever. Thank you!! 🙏 🤩

Hannah and Ahmed, the best tour guides you can ask for
We took a trip to Egypt specifically to see the pyramids and we were pleased to have a guide like Hannah, she is VERY informative and thorough yet so humble. Ahmed was an excellent driver as the roads are quite hectic during the day and he was always there the moment we finished each stop on the tour. Hannah was even nice enough to allow us to have a few minutes away on a camel ride which she also helped organize since we only speak English and was an excellent photographer 😀. If you’re looking for an amazing tour of Cairo’s treasures like the museums and pyramids we highly recommend booking with this company.

Un grande Tour con una guida privata
Siamo andati in tour con Hannah, un'egittologa molto cordiale e accogliente con una grande esperienza e conoscenza della storia egiziana e araba. Abbiamo pagato un extra per l'ingresso al nuovo Grand Egyptian Museum, che ne è valsa la pena. Abbiamo imparato molto durante il nostro tour. Il nostro autista era Ahmed, che ci ha guidato in modo sicuro e veloce attraverso il denso traffico del Cairo. Il Tour è stato ben organizzato e siamo riusciti ad avere più del tempo sufficiente per ogni tappa. Dato che siamo venuti da Sharm el Sheik, ci siamo dovuti alzare molto presto per prendere il primo volo per Il Cairo, ma anche questo non ha alterato l'esperienza. Possiamo consigliare pienamente di fare questo tour con una guida privata, che ha così tanta conoscenza di tutti i luoghi e gli artefatti che si possono osservare.

L'esperienza è stata condivisa da quattro perfetti sconosciuti all'inizio, ma siamo andati tutti d'accordo con l'aiuto del fascino di Ali (guida) e, naturalmente, della competenza come egittologo, sono molto felice dell'esperienza complessiva ed è stato un tour ben organizzato ed educativo delle piramidi ecc

Ottima prima esplorazione di piramidi e sfinge
Grande tour pieno di un sacco di fatti interessanti guidati dal brillante Ali! Il nostro piccolo gruppo di quattro persone era composto da 2 viaggiatori singoli e una coppia di familiari.
Ali ci ha fatto sentire i benvenuti e non ha mai esitato a rispondere alle nostre numerose domande. Molto flessibile re che ci offre aggiornamenti opzionali, tra cui andare nel GEM, anche se Ali in seguito ha detto che preferiva il museo più vecchio.
Ho imparato molto e una parte preferita di. Il tuo primo viaggio in Egitto finora!
Lo consiglio vivamente, anche con l'avvio anticipato extra.
Cerca di ottenere un visto prima del giorno come può finire più costoso.
Fai attenzione alle persone che chiedono consigli per fare solo il loro lavoro - ad esempio la sicurezza dei bagagli nell'aeroporto di Sharm.
