DO NOT PAY 5 usd/pounds/euros to use the restroom, 1 or 2 euro/British pound/usd per person is more than enough each time. The food is good, bring a drink or buy them when you eat. YOU WILL BE TAKEN TO TWO SHOPS (Alabaster and Papyrus Art Shops) AND GIVEN AN OPPORTUNITY TO PURCHASE SOUVENIRS. EITHER BUY OR DON’T BUY. ITS OK. YOU CAN NEGOTIATE PRICES. Review: Wow! What a busy day! First of all, we were picked up promptly on time by Ahmed at our hotel (he was early). The hotel prepared our breakfast box so we could take it with us. Ahmed is like a race car driver and Egypt seems to have no rules of the road, so be prepared to be in for the ride of your life! He offered us A/C, WiFi, Drinks, Snacks, and a movie was playing in the Van. Our first stop was about an hour in at a roadside spot where the bathroom could be used. This does cost money and I do not recommend it, so go before you leave. After this we went back on our way and arrived in Luxor after about 3 hours total. What can I say from here? You get to walk around all of the spots on the list (Valley of Kings, Temple of Hetshepsut, Karnak Temples, Papyrus Art Shop, Alabaster Art Shop, Restaurant, Boat Trip on the Nile, and a few other spots.) Siad the tour guide is very knowledgeable about the places you visit and will no doubt educate you on the history of the ruins. The tour makes sure you have everything you need and helps you navigate the attractions flawlessly. Siad and Ahmed keep you safe during your travels. They make sure you get first class treatment while at the locations and instructs you on how to conduct yourself while visiting. We had a very good time, most people speak English if needed. All in All, very accommodating. This tour group also does trips to Cairo!

Very good Day in Luxor !

Amazing tour of Luxor, Our driver Ahmad was very kind, we arrived in Luxor from Urghada in 3.5 / 4h, before the rush of bus. The car was very confortable, with fresh drinks and some snacks for the all day. You can let all Bags in the car to visit temples and everythings. He takes us in our hotel at 5am, start visiting at 9am, and left Luxor at 4pm. The driver also explain some things of the lire and history of Egypt, takes local product for us to taste them. For all the Day in Luxor we get a guide (Said) just for us, in english, and he was a very very good guide ! Explain all the history of monuments, take photos of us, answered our questions, ... You have a guiding tour, but you also have time to chill, take photos, ... For this price its a very nice trip, to see lot of things in only 1 Day !

Immer wieder gerne wieder. Ramashka Tours maximale Sterne.

Habibi, a must-do while you are in Egypt

Our Luxor guide Said was exceptional. He could answer all of our questions, kept the tour at the perfect pace, and always gave us tips for the best photos to take. Even though there was so much packed in a single day, everything felt effortless. There was no rushing or stalling, as if you had a childhood friend show you around their home with all the time in the world. He was fully so kind and was on top of everything. We already miss you, Said! The tour itself was super well-planned and worked like clockwork. Our driver was with us before 5am in the morning. The TV in the minibus was great, we had lots of laughs watching the hidden camera programme. Once in Luxor, the driver was always waiting for us at the very exit of every attraction, made us feel so special. The minibus was clean, comfy (fluffy pillows and decorated with flowers). There were snacks for the kids, sanitiser, wipes. Traffic between Qena and Luxor is a bit hectic, yet we always felt beyond safe with our driver, he was excellent. The tour starts with the Karnak complex, then you visit a papyrus gallery and off you go to a buffet lunch. Staff at the restaurant are so polite, the mango juice is delicious and the coffee is excellent. You then get picked up for a Nile boat tour (costs extra) which takes you to the west coast. There, you visit the Valley of Kings (and go into 3 tombs), followed by an alabaster factory, then off to the tomb of Hatshepsut and finally a quick stop at the Colossi of Memnon. We already had high expectations for the historical sites, but I did not know what to expect at the papyrus gallery or the alabaster factory. These two ended up being amongst my favourites. Both were fantastic, super professional and spoke excellent English, taught our kids how to make papyrus and there was a very funny show at the factory. Of course, make sure you bring plenty of cash and that you bargain very heavily if you want to get decent prices. As everywhere in Egypt, it's part of the experience. We visited in February and the weather was just perfect. Tips: bring small Egyptian bills for the toilets, small bills or coins for tips everywhere, and also really consider buying the extra bits - the Nile boat trip, cartouche necklaces, papyrus, alabaster souvenirs. Pack water and consider bringing some snacks for the drives if you feel like it. In summary, we cannot recommend the tour more highly. It is not cheap (especially by Egypt standards!), but well worth it.

Best trip to Luxor

Had a great tour trip to Lexur. Our driver's Ahmed was punctual and talkative throughout the ride. He made the long journey enjoyable with onboard TV, WiFi and light refreshments. Our guide's Said was also very knowledgeable and made the tour both informative and easy to navigate through the congestion of tourists. This is our second trip with the same agency and we felt safe in their hand.

The Best Tour Service in Luxor!!!

My wife and I were extremely lucky to have an unplanned private tour. Said and Ahmed where our tour guide and driver. They where both fantastic. Ahmed picked us up at 5am on the dot which was our scheduled pick up time. He got us to our destination from Hurghada in 3.5 hours. Said was extremely knowledgeable and friendly. We enjoyed our day tour and did not have to deal with the big crowds due to being there at such an early time. We highly recommend Ramashka tours especially if you want a driver that is punctual and a tour guide that will make your visit to multiple Egyptian historical sites memorable.

Great day out at Luxor and Valley of the Kings

Fully recommend this tour - it was an excellent day out. Very well organised from the start by Ahmed, nothing was too much trouble. He provided a plentiful supply of drinks and snacks along the way. Said, our guide, was fantastic- very knowledgeable and explained everything clearly. Thank you guys, will use you again if we’re ever lucky enough to come back to Egypt.

Amazing Ahmed & Super Said ensure this is a once in a lifetime trip!

This trip was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made to go on. By seeing it was the highest rated Luxor and Valley of the Kings day drop on Trip Advisor, we expected good things, but somehow have still managed to come away positively stunned by a mind blowing day. We booked the day tour a few weeks before our trip to Egypt through Trip Advisor. The tour was scheduled on our third day in Hurghada and as per the confirmation email received upon booking, we sent over passport and room number details of our hotel to Ahmed via WhatsApp. Ahmed promptly replied and confirmed our pick up time of 4:40am and reminded us to ask our hotel for a breakfast box in advance. He also provided photos of the minibus which was modern clean and the peak of comfort - settling any minor nerves we had of the journey! Ahmed arrived outside our hotel at exactly 4:40 on the dot! And straight away provided various snacks, refreshments and Wi-Fi! We then proceeded to one more stop for 2 others on the trip, once again with impeccable time keeping picking them up bang on the agreed time of 5:00am! Ahmed then dropped down a screen, popped on a film for us all and off we went! The first leg of the trip was roughly 2 hours, driving westbound through the desert motorways and then eventually having a pit stop at 7am. Ahmed had given us information of the toilet policy at these stops. It was 5 Egyptian pounds (equivalent to 13 pence at the time of writing this) which is to be paid in cash. On this note, it is worth noting that cash is king during this tour, so be advised that about £50/60 in cash for a couple would suffice. This will cover all toilet stops, the additional option of boat crossing the Nile plus any well deserved tips for Ahmed (Driver) and Said (Tour Guide). We continued back on the bus towards Luxor via the city Qena throughout which Ahmed was telling us all about the city and the culture it holds. Upon arriving in Luxor we pulled up to the Karnak temples at 8:45am. Here we were greeted by our local tour guide Said. Said took over and looked after us completely and was a pure fountain of knowledge and humbleness. The Karnak temples were simply, in one word, breathtaking. The early start was now very evident as the temples were not too busy at this time ( and by the time we were leaving, it was crowding up) - perfect timings so far from Ahmed and Said. Said took us to point to point across the temples explaining in detail the stunning landmarks and hieroglyphics with exceptional detail whilst allowing plenty of time for photo opportunities. This part of the tour lasted for 2 hours at the end of which we were given the option to be driven to the other side of the Nile or to cross via boat, which as mentioned above was an additional cost of 10-15 English pounds per person (party size dependant). Our party of 4 was more than happy to pay for the boat as it really does add an another dynamic to the tour. After the Karnak temple we were driven to the east side Nile bank, where we stopped for lunch. The lunch was a buffet style Egyptian restaurant which was more than adequate. The lunch was included within the price of the tour as was the toilets, however any drinks purchased were additional ( 2 cokes were 110 Egyptian pounds - equivalent to £2.97). Then we were escorted down to the boat where we set off to continue the tour, it was such a lovely addition to the tour and really breaks up the day and more importantly gives a little break from the road. The boat tour was 45 mins, and waiting for us on the west side was Ahmed with the door to the minibus opening as we approached! On to the Valley of the Kings! It was 15 minutes to get to from the west side Nile bank, during which (whilst we all reapplied cream and were treated to refreshments from Ahmed) Said explain what our plan was whilst continuously providing detailed history information! The Valley of the Kings of again, mind-blowing. We visited 3 tombs specially picked by Said and agreed by us. Total duration here was 1 hour and again perfectly timed. Our next stop was the temple of Hatshepsut - a 15 minute drive away and which again was fantastic and expertly explained by Said. We were here for a duration of 45 minutes. The penultimate stop was at a alabaster factory, where we were shown how the beautiful ornaments were made with the option to buy at the end (we chose not too and they are not pushy in the slightest!). Ahmed then drove us 5 minutes away to our last stop which was the Collosi of Memnon. We had a 10 minute stop here for photos as at this point the day starts to catch up with you! We then said goodbye to our outstanding tour guide Said, who is must be mentioned, really makes this trip a 10/10. Ahmed then took us back to Hurghada, with another toilet break in between, and another film or two! We were back by 8pm and in time for dinner. Ahmed and Said make this trip an even more unbelievable experience - for that we are truly grateful! A once in a lifetime trip that cannot be missed!
