Esperienza deludente con la guida, sconsigliata.
Abbiamo prenotato un tour privato da Safaga a Luxor tramite Viator. L'autista durante il tragitto è stato molto gentile e cortese: complimenti per questo. Sfortunatamente, la nostra guida giornaliera Mohamed ha rovinato l'intera esperienza. Inizialmente si presentava come una persona premurosa e affettuosa con la famiglia, ma si rivelò un manipolatore. Con il pretesto di proteggerci dalle truffe, ci ha deliberatamente portato in negozi per turisti dai prezzi esorbitanti (ad esempio, negozi di gioielli), dove siamo stati sottoposti a forti pressioni per comprare qualcosa. Il suo comportamento era paternalistico, irrispettoso e spesso anche leggermente aggressivo, ad esempio se distoglievamo brevemente lo sguardo da lui o gli parlavamo.
Nella Valle dei Re, siamo stati completamente travolti dal flusso di informazioni, con un caldo di 40 gradi. Mohamed non ci ha chiesto esplicitamente se volevamo visitare la tomba di Tutankhamon, anche se all'inizio ne ha fatto solo un breve accenno. Solo alla fine, quando glielo abbiamo chiesto, ha affermato che avevamo rifiutato, il che non era vero. È compito di una buona guida fornire informazioni chiare e, se necessario, porre ulteriori domande.
Il secondo autista a Luxor era taciturno, poco professionale e non si è nemmeno presentato. Nel complesso, purtroppo, è stata un'esperienza molto spiacevole e deludente. Consiglio vivamente di chiedere a questo fornitore una guida diversa da Mohamed o di scegliere un tour completamente diverso.

Amazing Luxor day tour
Great day trip to Luxor from Hurghada. Excellent guide both in knowledge and expertise and safety. Mr Ahmed Elaziz was outstanding. Took us back to Hurghada and shared lots of photos he had taken during the day. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟guide and tour!

Giornata fantastica alla scoperta di Luxor con Abdul e Ahmed!
Abbiamo avuto una fantastica giornata esplorando le incredibili attrazioni di Luxor. La nostra guida turistica, Abdul, è stata assolutamente brillante – così esperta, coinvolgente e appassionata di storia egiziana, che ha reso ogni tappa affascinante. Il nostro autista, Ahmed, è stato altrettanto meraviglioso — cortese, paziente, e ha fatto in modo che viaggiassimo in tutta comodità durante il giorno.
Dato il caldo, abbiamo davvero apprezzato la fornitura regolare di bevande fredde, e il delizioso pranzo fornito è stato un vero piacere. Uno dei momenti salienti è stato il giro in barca attraverso il Nilo, offrendo una vista mozzafiato e una brezza rinfrescante. Tuttavia, il punto di forza assoluto per noi è stato il tour del Tempio di Karnak – davvero stupefacente – ispirato e portato in vita dalla narrazione di Abdul.
Nel complesso, un viaggio fantastico, ben organizzato con una squadra brillante. Altamente consigliato!

A Grand Day Out!
Fantastic day exploring Luxor with Abdul and Ahmed!
We had a fantastic day exploring the incredible sights of Luxor. Our tour guide, Abdul, was absolutely brilliant—so knowledgeable, engaging, and passionate about Egyptian history, which made every stop fascinating. Our driver, Ahmed, was equally wonderful—courteous, patient, and made sure we travelled in comfort throughout the day.
Given the heat, we really appreciated the regular supply of cold drinks, and the delicious lunch provided was a real treat. One of the highlights was the boat ride across the Nile, offering stunning views and a refreshing breeze. However, the absolute standout for us was the tour of the Temple of Karnak—truly awe-inspiring and brought to life by Abdul’s storytelling.
Overall, a fantastic, well-organised trip with a brilliant team. Highly recommended!

Fantastic tour, service and guide
I booked this tour a few days in advance and had to change the date last minute as my partner had some tummy issues 😁 prompt communication and no issue changing the date, which was very much appreciated by us. On the day of the tour we got picked up just before 5 and had a smooth drive with comfort stops. Once in Luxor we met another driver who’d take us round for the day and we met our guide El Tayeb (LT), who was truly amazing to have around all day. He patiently told us what to look out for, the history and so much more. He took pictures of us and really guided us along which made for an unforgettable day. There is water or soft drinks on offer all day and the driver even stopped to get us ice cream. The car was comfortable, airconditioned and you can leave anything the car that you do not want to carry around all day.
Thank you for a long but worthwhile and unforgettable day. We would not have wanted to miss it.

Best tour ever
I'm a travel consultant and my clients did this tour with you today. Since they’re currently abroad in Egypt, they asked me to leave this review on their behalf. They gave it 5 stars! They were absolutely thrilled with the experience. The guide was amazing — did the whole tour in Portuguese, super kind and friendly. The driver was also very attentive. They loved everything! Fantastic Tour of Luxor.
It was a long day but an unforgettable experience. Our private driver was the smoothest I have ever had. Our guide for the day was Shrehan who was incredibly knowledgeable and explained the history behind each part of the tour and was patient with all our questions. I think having our own guide meant we gained a lot more from the experience. Our trip on the Nile was wonderful with the two young boys who took us getting us dancing and celebrating as we travelled along the river. We returned after a very long and tiring day with memories that will last us a lifetime.

L'esperienza è stata come descritto nel pacchetto. Avevamo 2 autisti, uno per guidarci da e per Luxor e un altro per guidarci a Luxor con la guida. Il viaggio è stato molto agevole e siamo stati in grado di dormire fino e da Luxor. Samira è stata la nostra guida durante le visite ai siti. Lei era molto cordiale e ben informato sulla storia dietro i siti. Consigliamo vivamente lei.
