Breathtaking trip with Prof Ahmed Elsisi.
Wow. An unforgettable experience and one of the best days of our lives.
Blown away completely by it.
Our driver Ahmed Saleah picked us up from Hurghada and was brilliant and highly professional.
Our tour guide Prof. Ahmed Elsisi was a charming guide, extremely knowledgeable and full of information which was delivered in an easy to understand and at times humour. He clearly had so much more to tell us but kept it within our own knowledge so as not to overwhelm.
The balloon trip was simply great and my wife's favourite bit. The numerous temples and the palaces we visited were amazing.
All in all this trip was one of our bucket list wishes and there were many moments that were real pinch me moments and the memories will last a life time. Thank you.

The best thing to come out of Egypt since Mo Salah!
Where to start! This was by far the best tour I have taken and I’ve taken many around the world. Incredible value and bang for your buck!
We were picked up promptly and driven from our hotel in Hurghada to Luxor in a modern air conditioned car. Our driver Mahmoud, who was with us throughout our tour was thoughtful, safe and the ultimate professional opening doors and providing unlimited cold drinks.
We arrived in Luxor where we were warmly welcomed by Professor Ahmed Elsisi (The Prof as my wife and I named him) our expert guide and Egyptologist. He is one of the most knowledgeable and warm human beings you will ever meet. The best thing to come out of Egypt since Mo Salah!!
Arriving at around 7pm he took us to a local eatery and then whizzed us around the breathtaking Luxor Temple before dropping us at our perfectly adequate budget hotel.
We were picked up by the balloon company at 4.30am and taken to the launch area. Words cannot describe sunrise in a hot air balloon over the Valley of the Kings so I’ll attach a photo.
The rest of the day was over to The Prof. He knew everyone and was clearly liked and respected by everyone from the other tour guides to the hawkers and the toilet attendants. He never bombarded us with facts but rather told a story and brought these incredible historic sites to life. A real sage. We felt lucky to have spent this time with him. We toured the Valley of the Kings and all the other major sights - just breathtaking.
Legacy Tours were efficient and everything ran like clockwork. They obviously choose their partners and employees well and know their onions!

Wow. Wow. Wow. I rarely write reviews but I couldn’t ignore writing a review for what has been the tour of a lifetime. From start to finish, everything has been perfect. Legacy Tours have communicated efficiently at every step of the way to ensure our trip was exactly as we wished for it to be.
We had originally planned a single day trip but Legacy Tours amended this to an overnight tour, and we are delighted they did. Luxor Temple in the evening, away from the heat and madness was staggering (and having a decent rest before the busy day ahead was much appreciated).
Our driver, Mahmoud - what a superstar. Driving proficiently, safely and such good company - and with total comfort (and cold drinks en route)! Nothing was too much trouble, even when we asked for a coffee stop. I could not recommend him enough… you are in safe and kind hands.
However, our guide and Egyptologist was the legend that is Professor ‘The Prof’ Ahmed Elsisi - he is the cherry on top of the icing. His knowledge, warmth, humour, professionalism and passion is quite something to behold. I have never felt more assured, better led or as cared for as we did with our new lovely friend ‘The Prof’.
The trip itself: incredible. The balloon ride was like something out of the movies: picturesque, serene, totally emotional! Our pilot was brilliant - fun, professional, experienced, happy. From a girl who doesn’t do heights, you would never know you were off the ground. If you ever want to experience a hot-air balloon ride, Luxor is the place to do it (the views at sunrise over The Valley of The Kings… oh my!).
From start to finish, the whole experience was unparalleled by any tour I’ve ever been on - with our own photoshoot (literally, our own shoot!), great food, the planned tour, the storytelling (by The Prof) and the mind-blowing monuments, tombs, history and art work. Sailing on our private boat on the Nile and seeing King Tut and his tomb were just the extra bonus.
I have always wanted to go to Egypt to see the pyramids (which I now have), but I would easily recommend Luxor as a place to visit too (and we will definitely be back to see more of Luxor).

Il nostro professore guida Ahmed Elsisi era estremamente informato e ha reso l'esperienza divertente e interessante.
L'esperienza dall'inizio alla fine è stata di prima classe dal nostro autista che ci ha guidato a Luxor da Hurghada al pilota e al personale di terra presso la mongolfiera. In una giornata eccezionalmente calda le nostre esigenze sono soddisfatte in ogni modo.
Lo consiglio vivamente.

Wir waren rundum zufrieden! Die Ballonfahrt bei Sonnenaufgang war traumhaft – sicher, stressfrei und wunderschön organisiert. Der erfahrene Kapitän und der freundliche Fotograf (bereitgestellt von Lagancy) machten das Erlebnis perfekt.
Besonders hervorheben möchten wir unseren Reiseleiter Mark: Er spricht ausgezeichnet Deutsch, ist herzlich, fürsorglich und verfügt über beeindruckendes historisches Wissen – genau dosiert und auf unsere Interessen abgestimmt. Selbst unser 9-jähriger Sohn war begeistert vom Tal der Könige, obwohl wir vorher Zweifel hatten, ob es für ihn spannend genug wäre. Seine Fotos und Videos mit Musik waren das i-Tüpfelchen.
Auch unser Fahrer war sehr nett, zuverlässig und das Auto komfortabel – ideal für die Fahrt mit Kind. Dank der Übernachtung im Vorfeld starteten wir ausgeschlafen und entspannt in den Tag.
Die gesamte Planung wurde flexibel an unsere Wünsche angepasst – Ablauf, Tempo und Inhalte waren ganz auf uns abgestimmt. Wir fühlten uns bei Lagancy wie VIP-Gäste mit privater, persönlicher Betreuung – definitiv besser aufgehoben als viele andere Touristengruppen, die wir unterwegs gesehen haben.
Ein rundum gelungenes Erlebnis, das wir wärmstens weiterempfehlen!

Esperienza indimenticabile
Ottimo viaggio in mongolfiera sopra Luxor un'esperienza indimenticabile, il nostro autista per la giornata è stato Boomba che ci ha seguiti bene, tra drink e soste. La nostra guida Professor Ahmed era gentile e ha risposto a tutte le nostre domande era molto informato sull'Antico Egitto che era molto impressionante. Inoltre è stata inclusa la colazione e il pranzo nel ristorante di Parigi assaggiando la cucina egiziana locale. La nostra guida Ahmed ci ha anche portato in una gita in barca sul Nilo che non era incluso nel nostro tour quindi grazie ci è piaciuto IT. Non poteva chiedere un viaggio migliore quindi grazie al nostro autista e guida e il personale del ristorante di Parigi.

Excellent experience and the "what to expect" was exactly what was detailed!
The tour guide and Egyptologist was very knowledgeable on ancient history and was very helpful and took his time with us to tell his stories!
The hot air balloon flight was absolutely amazing and a memory I will forever cherish!
Food at Paris was very nice and it was good to taste the local cuisine.
Big shout out to Boomba our driver for providing water and looking after us from leaving our hotel in Hurghada to our returns.
Overall I would highly recommend this trip and well done to both guide and driver.
Memories were certainly made!

Un viaggio davvero indimenticabile!
Un viaggio davvero indimenticabile. Siamo stati raccolti dal nostro hotel alle 23:00 dal nostro autista Mohamed che ci ha guidato per le 4 ore a Luxor. Qui ci siamo fermati per la colazione in un ristorante, che sebbene fosse incantevole, siamo stati purtroppo in più occasioni fatti sentire estremamente a disagio da due operai maschi che ci hanno fatto venire voglia di partire. Pur non facendo parte dell’azienda riteniamo sia importante evidenziare.
Dopo colazione siamo stati raccolti in minibus e portati alle mongolfiere, qui abbiamo incontrato il nostro adorabile fotografo Islam che ha scattato per noi delle foto incredibili di cui faremo tesoro per sempre! La mongolfiera è stata un'esperienza magica, che ha offerto viste eccezionali dell'alba e uno spaccato della vita per coloro che vivono sotto a Luxor. Tutte le persone coinvolte hanno lavorato duramente per tenerci al sicuro e ogni preoccupazione di essere in alto da terra è scomparsa rapidamente.
Abbiamo poi incontrato la nostra guida Ahmed e ci siamo diretti alla valle dei re, dove abbiamo esplorato le tre tombe con lui al nostro fianco. Ahmed era un narratore eccezionale, mostrando la sua passione e conoscenza per tutto ciò che riguarda l'Egitto. . mostrando anche le sue abilità fotografiche scattando molte foto per noi. Una volta finito qui ci siamo diretti a un laboratorio di artisti, dove abbiamo scoperto come gli artisti realizzano diverse sculture, facendo un tentativo noi stessi e anche lasciando con la nostra che era un momento culminante.
A causa della malattia abbiamo interrotto il nostro viaggio, che è stato estremamente deludente, ma Ahmed è stato eccezionalmente gentile e più che comprensivo.
Come due giovani femmine eravamo preoccupati di fare un viaggio così lungo da soli, ma il nostro autista Mohamed ha rapidamente eliminato quelle paure con la sua personalità affascinante. Ha fatto di tutto per farci sentire a nostro agio, chiacchierando e ridendo con noi che ha reso un lungo viaggio in auto un po 'più sopportabile. Quindi grazie extra a lui!
Questo viaggio è stato davvero indimenticabile e non esiterei a prenotare di nuovo con loro se sono fortunato a tornare in Egitto. Se ci state pensando - basta prenotare. . non rimarrete delusi!

Una meravigliosa esperienza di un giorno intero a Luxor
Questo tour è stato un modo indimenticabile e completo per sperimentare la bellezza di Luxor. Dalla gita in mongolfiera mattutina mozzafiato – che offre una vista mozzafiato di Luxor dall’alto – alla visita degli antichi monumenti e dei maestosi templi, la giornata è stata ricca di storia e stupore – ispirando luoghi.
Ho avuto la fortuna di essere guidata dalla fantastica Samira, che era incredibilmente esperta, ha risposto a ogni domanda e si è assicurata che mi sentissi guidata e informata durante tutto il tour. Le sue intuizioni hanno aggiunto così tanto valore all'esperienza.
Consiglio vivamente questo tour a chiunque visiti l'Egitto. Assicurati solo di pianificare in anticipo, soprattutto per il viaggio di andata e ritorno di 4 ore, che può essere faticoso. Ma una volta lì, ogni momento ne vale la pena!
