SCAM!
This is one big scam of an excursion! We booked through a contact from the hotel reception. They sent us a disgusting car and driver to transport us to the port. Upon arrival, we sat on the boat for 2.5 hours waiting for “clearance”. The boat was very shady, the people in charge were of a much younger generation with zero experience in anything. The boat was definitely overbooked as there was no room for anyone to sit and they were just letting more people onboard. They told us that they would cancel most of the itinerary due to the delay. In the end, we left along with many other passengers. We found out after going on the Mahmya tour that the orange island operators are known for their lack of organization and it is indeed some sort of scam .

Vi er kjempefornøyde over denne turen. Veldig avslappende og følte oss veldig trygge. Vi fikk en gavepakke med chips og godt. Kjøre en runde på banan, stoppet to ganger for å snirkle og en tur på the orange bay. Snille og hyggelige folk

Hat sehr viel Spaß gemacht und alle waren cool drauf. Ging um 9 Uhr los bis ca. 17 Uhr und hatten unseren vollen Spaß gerne wieder :)

Orange Island itself reached by tender boat to the Island pier.
A popular destination, plenty of purpose built shaded areas with seating, bean bags by the hundreds under shaded area allocated to arriving groups.
Bars serve drinks etc, many photo opportunities, waters shallow aqua
