Siwa Oasis ci ha rubato il cuore: dune infinite, laghi salati, tè accanto al fuoco e le persone più gentili che si possano immaginare.
Siwa Oasis ha completamente superato ogni aspettativa. Dal momento in cui abbiamo lasciato Giza, l'intera esperienza ci è sembrata di entrare in un altro mondo - più lento, tranquillo, pacifico e profondamente autentico.
La gente di Siwa è tra le più gentili e accoglienti che abbiamo incontrato ovunque. Ciò che rende questo luogo speciale non sono solo i paesaggi irreali... è il calore delle persone che lo chiamano casa.
Una parte enorme di quello era il nostro autista, Ahmed. Si è occupato di tutto dall'inizio alla fine e ha fatto sentire il lungo viaggio senza sforzo. La corsa era abbastanza comoda da dormire per la maggior parte di esso, e ha cronometrato perfettamente le fermate per stretching, caffè e pause bagno, pur facendo grande tempo in sicurezza.
Ogni parte del viaggio sembrava accuratamente curata. Cibo senza fine, tè incredibile, sorgenti naturali, enormi dune di sabbia, galleggiando in cristalli - laghi salati e guardando il tramonto accanto a un falò nel deserto sotto un cielo pieno di stelle. Ahmed ci ha anche portato nel suo posto nascosto al lago salato, e onestamente sembrava irreale nelle foto.
Ma ciò che è rimasto con noi più era la sensazione del posto. Siwa ha un modo per farti rallentare e apprezzare quanto sei piccolo rispetto al mondo che ti circonda. Ci si sente tranquilli, radicati e quasi spirituali a volte.
L’ospitalità è stata indimenticabile – da giovani ragazze locali che chiedevano con entusiasmo di scattare foto con noi, a un anziano che all’inizio sembrava intimidatorio ma poi ci ha servito cibo tradizionale con tanto calore e cura. Momenti come quello sono ciò che rende il viaggio memorabile.
Se non ti innamori dei paesaggi di Siwa, ti innamorerai assolutamente della sua gente.

I had a lovely trip with Faouzi and Mohammed. Faouzi drove safely and was so nice. To Mohammed, the guide, I would like to address a huge thank you for everything. He took excellent care of us throughout the entire trip. He always makes sure we have everything we need : food, drinks, stops during the drive..
This journey to Siwa was amazing : we had a great stay at Hot Spring Camp, and Mohammed introduced us to some delicious dishes. People in Siwa were so kind. The journey was beyond my expectations, I will never forget this.

Siwa from Giza – Great experience overall, with a few caveats
We did a 3-day trip to Siwa (2 days of driving, 1 day on-site) departing from Giza. The overall balance is positive, but a few things are worth mentioning.
Highlights: The driver was excellent – punctual, professional, and the vehicle spotless. Our guide, young and incredibly kind, genuinely cared about making the group happy. The visits and activities in Siwa delivered, and the food was consistently good.
Room for improvement: Communication with the tour operator beforehand was frustrating – passports were requested, submitted, then requested again with no acknowledgment in between, giving an impression of disorganization. As for the guide, despite his clear good intentions, the language barrier (English was passable but limited) combined with last-minute itinerary changes led to some confusion and an occasionally unclear schedule.
Worth knowing: The drive is over 9 hours each way. This is non-negotiable geography, but it does take a toll – the trip is genuinely exhausting, which slightly dulls the overall experience.
Bottom line: A very good trip that falls just short of excellent due to unreliable communication and some organizational fuzziness. Siwa is absolutely worth the journey – just come well-rested, and keep your expectations flexible on the logistics side.

Amazing trip to Siwa
We had an excellent experience with our driver and guide Ahmed during our four-day trip to Siwa Oasis. From start to finish, he was professional, reliable, and incredibly knowledgeable about the area. His driving was safe and comfortable, even on long stretches and more challenging roads, which made the journey feel smooth and stress-free.
What truly stood out was his friendly and accommodating nature. He was always punctual, patient, and attentive to our needs, making sure we were comfortable at all times. He also went above and beyond to share insights about Siwa’s culture, history, and hidden gems that we would not have discovered on our own.

The BEST Siwa Tour!

Beautiful, fun, Safe, reliable, and the pinnacle of hospitality! This is the excursion you don’t want to miss.
Our Driver Ahmed was awesome. He is a life long local of Cairo/Giza and knows all of the ways to get around traffic. We made the trip to Siwa safe and in record time. His vehicle is new clean and comfortable with great AC. He makes intuitive stops along the way for snacks, drink, stretch and bathroom. We felt safe the entire time. Egypt traffic is chaotic and having a good driver is important.Ahmed is the best driver in Egypt. The resort is beautiful and everyone is so kind. Ahmed is always looking out for you and makes sure you are happy. He also is very flexible and allows you to make adjustments or stops along the trip. He knows Siwa very well and is familiar with the checkpoints. The off-road dessert and sand boarding was really awesome. Also Ahmed knows the best secret salt lake spots so you are away from crowds and he takes great photos. All meals were awesome and they always feed you more than you can ever eat. The tea and coffee is amazing and make sure you get some Siwa Juice. This was the highlight of our entire trip. Thank you Ahmed for taking such good care of us.

I wish I could rate this more than five stars. It was a well organized tour and exceeded our expectations.
Hany our guide was engaging, kind and thoughtful. There really isn’t enough words to describe what an amazing tour guide he is. He went above and beyond.
Even though nine hours seems like a long drive. It didn’t feel that long.Hany made well timed stops along the way.
He was very knowledgeable not with only the sites we were seeing, but also the town of Siwa.
The hotel was clean. It was nice having a pool and hot spring..
The tour was an incredible and very memorable experience.

Amr è stato un tour fantastico...
Amr era una guida turistica incredibile. Ci ha portato in tutti i luoghi locali e siamo riusciti ad avere praticamente tutte le posizioni per noi stessi. Consiglio vivamente questo viaggio a chiunque voglia vedere più delle solite destinazioni, è un’esperienza che non dimenticheremo.

Guides took care of everything, showed all the highlights and some hidden gems too. Siwa is not easy to get to so it's a good idea to book with a tour agency such as this.
