Disappointing tour (not quite what we wanted) but the natural wonders of the Fayoum are unassailable
Overall the trip was not up to par to previous trips I have taken to the Fayoum. Nature: sever winds kicked up and the sandboarding found us near sand storm conditins. My guest will be taking part of the desert home with her--literally. The Wadi-al-ryan falls tare distinctly unimpressive-much smaller than the pictures suggest. The Guide: billed himself as the "Master of Fun". Full disclosure: I am a stick in the mud about this kind of thing. But he ignored my guest who was a woman and directed all of his attention to me, largely dismissing her questions or immediately deferring to me. Finally, the only "cultural" aspect to the tour was the obligatory trip to "local artistes" to see them demonstrate their skills but mostly to hawk their merchandise. I know this is part of tourism in Egypt and we did purchase some pottery. But he attempted to take us to a tour of the "traditional papyrus school" in Giza after we were both exhausted and we stood our ground and refused to get out of the car. It would have been my fourth such visit to such a school/shop. ,The ride on the lake was short and definitely not in a "felucca" though, with the wind as it was that was understandable.
Good points: the restaurant was fine and the usual mixed grill well turned out. The driver of the car was very friendly and helpful and less obtrusive then his partner. The natural vistas of the desert and lakes around Fayoum remain stunning. I will be more careful in selecting my next tour when taking visitors to the Fayoum.

Un altro lato dell'Egitto - un must see
El Fayoum e la cascata ti mostrano un altro lato dell'Egitto che non puoi sperimentare al Cairo. L'immenso deserto e le verdi fattorie di Al Fayoum creano un contrasto impressionante. Il giro in barca sul lago, il sandboarding e il pesce fresco e gustoso alla fine del tour hanno completato un'esperienza indimenticabile. Ringrazio la nostra fantastica guida Amr per averci portato in questo viaggio!

Viaggio Exelent con Essam e Abdo
Questo viaggio è stata un'esperienza indimenticabile. Le nostre guide hanno fatto di tutto per farci sentire bene. Abbiamo riso molto mentre facevamo sandboarding, e abbiamo un piacevole viaggio per tutta la giornata. Grazie all'autista Abdo e alla nostra guida Essam. Li consiglio.

Ho avuto la fortuna di avere megoo come guida, mi è piaciuto tantissimo. Se ti piace la natura e soggiorni al Cairo allora è un tour da non perdere.

Grande giornata
Ottimo tour, la guida turistica e l'autista hanno fatto un ottimo lavoro. Abbiamo visto così tanto e abbiamo avuto una grande giornata. Consigliamo vivamente questo tour a chiunque visiti Il Cairo e l'Egitto.

The best day out
Fantastic day out. Very friendly and helpful tour guide and driver. Very accommodating. Learnt a lot about Egyptian history. Would do it again.

Eine sehr schöne Auszeit von der aufregenden Stadt Kairo
Amr war ein super netter tour guide. Es war ein wunderschöner Tag. Das sandboarden hat viel Spaß gemacht, die oasis war wunderschön, das Essen war lecker, die bootsfahrt war toll. Sogar die Autofahrt hat viel Spaß gemacht ( danke an Ahmet ). War eine schöne tour :)

La verdad a pesar que la guía hablaba inglés y nosotros español no hubo problemas en entendernos. Nuestra guía y el conductor un 10, excelentes personas, muy amables, de buen trato y siempre preocupados de que estuviéramos disfrutando. El tour muy bueno, las vistas hermosas, para los que somos fotógrafos aficionados créanme que es un tour que vale la pena.
