Crociera molto bella. Le attrezzature e i servizi a bordo della barca sono al top. Mena si è presa molta cura di noi e ha sempre cercato la soluzione migliore. È molto ben informato sulla storia egiziana.

I went on the 3-night cruise from Aswan with my father in November 2023. First thing to say - Egypt was very safe and doesn't seem to be affected by the nearby conflicts at all. On a map it might look close but in practice you're very far away. We had an amazing time! We'd never been on a cruise or a guided tour before and we were worried about it being restrictive but it was perfect. There were enough scheduled trips to keep busy but there was also lots of time to relax on the boat. The boat was lovely and the staff very friendly and helpful. The food was great too. Our tour group was small - four people total (on the boat there are people on different tours). I would also say that as a foreigner getting around and organising entry to all the sites without a tour guide would probably be quite stressful and so it was a real advantage to have someone else sort it out. Aswan, the Nile and Luxor are incredibly beautiful and all the sites we saw were amazing. Our guide George was fantastic - very knowledgeable not only about ancient Egypt, but also recent Egyptian history as well e.g. My dad was really interested in the dams in Aswan and we learnt a lot about those too. George took us to see them even though its not usually a part of the tour. I don't think there was a question he couldn't answer! (His English, of course, was perfect as well). He was also very helpful to us - on the last day my father left his passport in a jacket pocket on the tour bus and we only realised once the tour was over and we were at our next hotel. George went out of this way to drop it back for us. It was much appreciated.

Mena Tharwat was our guide. We booked our cruise through Journey to Egypt. Mena did a wonderful job! He made us very comfortable. Always bringing us water and making sure our every need was met. He did a great job of explaining things to us and preparing us for what was next. We visited alot of amazing places and he was very good at explaining things to us and answering all of our questions. Thanks to Mena we had a wonderful trip. I would highly recommend Mena!

We had an amazing trip, everything was perfectly organized and the room was really nice. Our guide Maichael was exceptional and arranged everything personalized for us, we could even visit a temple that was not programmed in the trip. Thank you for everything, Marie

John our tour guide was amazing, very friendly and well look after us. Tell us many story what we should know about every sites not too much and too short but good to understand what we will see and what happened. Many trip advise what to do and what to avoid the whole time of the trip. Egypt is safe from war and no danger from war at all.

Ci siamo divertiti moltissimo durante il tour. Mena, la nostra guida turistica, ha fornito un servizio eccezionale assicurandoci di sapere esattamente cosa avremmo fatto in ogni momento. Era allo stesso tempo professionale e con cui era facile ridere. Mio marito ed io non ci sentivamo al 100% un giorno e lui ha modificato il nostro tour per adattarlo assicurandosi di non perdere nulla. Consigliamo vivamente questo tour e Mena sei davvero una risorsa per Journey to Egypt!

The time we spent on the cruise was excellent; the experience was very good, nice, clean, confiable and excelente service, congratulations to the chef for the delicious food, especially the typical Egyptian dishes. The atmosphere was very pleasant, and everyone was respectful and helpful. However, the highlight of the trip was undoubtedly gaining a better understanding of Egypt's ancient history. Despite its vastness, our guide, Mena Tharwat, explained everything with great patience and super clear examples, making every second at the temples meaningful. Additionally, Mena was very kind to us, ensuring we always had fresh water, taking good care of us, helping with purchases (buying souvenirs in Egypt can be challenging), and we enjoyed his company throughout the trip. He is very kind and warm person and has a wealth of knowledge about Egyptian history.

This was a trip I had been waiting my whole life to take. I booked prior to anything going on in the Middle East. I was a little bit nervous about going, but I decided to stay with my plans. I am so happy I did. This trip up the Nile river was simply amazing! Not once did I feel unsafe or threatened. The conflict which is far away, wasn’t even a thought. If you are worried, I would suggest that you go! Because of the conflict it’s quite empty at the sites, so that’s an added bonus! Anyway, my guide, John, was amazing! Talk about white glove treatment! He took care of everything!! Your own personal tour guide. He is extremely knowledgeable about everything and just a pleasure to be around! He knows exactly where to go when you get there so you don’t miss the important things. You then have time to yourself to walk around and take pictures. Highly recommended!

I recently went on an Egypt tour and had a fantastic time. The tour group prioritized our safety and the staff were friendly and welcoming. I felt safe and secure the entire trip. The itinerary was well-planned, allowing us to explore iconic landmarks and immerse ourselves in the local culture. The tour guides were knowledgeable and made the experience enjoyable with their engaging storytelling. Overall, I highly recommend this Egypt tour for a safe and fun adventure.

This was one of the most incredible experiences of my life! Journey to Egypt and our tour guide, John, were great. They took care of everything and helped us every step of the way. They WhatsApped us before the trip and set it up. John was amazing and explained the temples and sites very well. He also gave us tips when traveling through Egypt. Highly recommend Abu Simbel; it's incredible. The cruise ship was really nice and they even upgraded us to a suite! I took my 10 year old daughter and everyone was nice to her. Egypt is a beautiful and safe country, and if you go I can't recommend Journey to Egypt and John enough!
