A once in a lifetime adventure unlike any other I’ve ever experienced!
I had a once in a lifetime trip to Egypt! I have never taken a group tour before and was hesitant. All my fears were gone the moment there was Mohamed (our travel representative) waiting for me at Cairo international airport helped with luggage, and delivered us to our hotel with ease. The tour began officially by meeting with Mayer to sort paperwork and scheduling. He was patient and efficient after the long trip to Egypt. Once we started off on our adventures they were one after the other each day better and better. So many new experiences, people, places, colors, scenery. All painting the perfect picture of the magic, beauty, and contrast of ancient and present day Egypt. I met some friends I know I will have forever and had experiences I will treasure. The highlight for me being the 3 night Nile cruise trip. The Nile is a monolith of if it’s own and lives up to the hype. The Nile valley takes your breath away from sunrise to sunset and the moon will captivate your dreams. My trip would not have been the same without our amazing guide, Osama! Osama was so organized, helpful, PATIENT, caring, funny, and knowledgeable. He made 06 strangers with all different personalities and travel experience feel like a cohesive family unit in a short period of time with ease. He explained all the histories and mythology with clarity and answered questions and concerns with pleasure. I feel so lucky to have experienced Egypt through his eyes.”

Une croisière d'Assouan a Louxor
Quelle expérience formidable. John, notre guide était très instructif et serviable. Il a ajouté une visite très spéciale pour nous. D'Assouan à Louxor, tous les sites étaient absolument magnifiques et valaient les voyages optionnels (une visite des temples d'Abou Simbel depuis Assouan et un survol en montgolfière à Louxor). Cette croisière sur le Nil est définitivement un must. Nous nous rendons au Caire après la croisière, pour visiter les pyramides et la ville avec notre guide Mazen, qui était extrêmement poli, très amusant et a pris soin de nous. Nous n'oublierons jamais notre merveilleux voyage en Egypte et nous recommandons vivement l'agence Journey to Egypt!

Journey to Egypt Highly recommended
Journey to Egypt was the perfect choice, if you are planning on going to Egypt and sail the Nile, this is the best tour company. The tour guides (George and Osama) are so informative and friendly, I have learned so much it amazing. Worth seeing Luxor temple at night. It was a very memorable time for both myself and wife on our ever first tour of Egypt. We would recommend Journey to Egypt 100% and hope to visit again sometime soon!

4 day Nile Cruise
Amazing trip arranged through Journey to Egypt, collected from Aswan airport by our tour guide George, who take us to Aswan High dam and Philae Temple. Later, we stepped aboard Nile Cruise on the Nile River, Enjoyed our lunch and sail the Nile in a felucca boat. The next day, we journeyed to Abu Simbel temples (Optional). Arriving back in Aswan, Lunch served on board while cruising to Kom Ombo town. Upon arrival, we visited the Greco-Roman temple dedicated to Haroeris and Sobek (the crocodile god). In day3, visited Horus temple and sailed to Luxor. We arrived in Luxor, the site of the ancient city of Thebes where we saw the complex Karnak and Luxor temples. In day 4, we went to Valley of the Kings and Hatshepsut Temple. A massive thank to everyone. I highly recommend this company to book your Nile cruise holiday with, you will not be disappointed.

Perfect Nile journey
Our visit to Egypt was such a pleasant and memorable journey. The boat we cruised on was also excellent, with great food included. Our friendly tour guide Osama was very helpful and knowledgeable. He is a marvelously genuine person who is doing everything he can to rebuild a struggling Egyptian tourist industry. The amazing thing about Egypt is not only were we looking at these temples and tombs but actually touched these ancient stones! So breathtakingly awe-inspiring it makes ones mind cloud over as you simple can not take in the magnitude and magnificence of these magical buildings. We leave Egypt overwhelmed by the beauty of its historical monuments and friendliness of its people. Thank you Journey to Egypt.

Fantastic trip down the Nile
We booked 4 day Nile cruise from Aswan to Luxor with Journey to Egypt. Osama and his team, made our journey much easier to organize, as they arranged everything from our room on the cruise ship to transport in each of the destinations.
Our tour guide Tony was the best tour guide we could have hoped for - incredibly knowledgeable of Ancient Egyptian history served to bring each place we visited alive and in our free time, we were able to explore the sites by our own eyes. Tony even offered a morning alarm call to our cabin to check we were up and awake in time! At the end of the cruise tours, he took us to a restaurant in Luxor to finish the experience with a delicious Egyptian food.
Our boat was Sarah Nile Cruise, The itinerary of the cruise included an amazing array of visits and the optional tour (Abu Simbel) is highly recommend. Fantastic trip, I highly recommend Journey to Egypt for an unforgettable trip down the Nile!

A company with heart
Before the pandemic, I was fortunate enough to be able to travel often – usually 3-4 times internationally and several trips domestically. Due to my experience traveling to many different places, I seldom ever arranged a tour – I usually like to have freedom to do what I want to do.
When I was researching places I wanted to visit, the distance between them, and other logistic problems, I quickly realized a little help wouldn’t hurt. So I reached out to Journey to Egypt and several other companies. In each interaction, Journey to Egypt was always the quickest to answer and gave me exactly the information I needed.
I quickly found out that they could almost make anything I wanted to do possible! What’s more, they were able to take my “wish list” and turn it into a logically arranged trip to maximize my time there and provide a relaxed vacation.
One of the things that was most memorable of the trip was the cruise they arranged. They made sure we were on the newest, best ship available. We were even fortunate to be sharing the trip with a very famous movie actress who’s dining table was just across from ours each day!
The room, foods and amenities on the ship were all top notch. What was very nice was to wake up each morning in a new spot to explore – usually no more than a 5-10 min walk from the ship! For the sites that did require a short trip, transportation was prearranged and always ready for us. Breakfast, lunch, dinner (snacks!) you need never worry about going hungry! lol The lunches we had off ship were always amazing and an absolute highlight of the day. And the sites themselves will blow you away. What I found to be enjoyable was the history of each place we visited. It was explained very well but not so much that you felt like you were in a history class. If you wanted to know more, our guides were always happy to help. If not, you were free to explore on your own.
I simply can’t say enough about how amazing Journey to Egypt is. From meeting you at the airport BEFORE you go through emigration (pre-buying the visa for you) to returning you back and everything in between, you won’t find a more caring group of people who’s only wish is to make absolutely sure you have the time of your life!

Outstanding experience by a very professional company
We both wish to thank you very much Journey to Egypt for organizing our 4 day Nile cruise journey. The whole experience was superb! We were also very grateful to have such an experienced and pleasant Egyptologist guide - Mr. Osama. He showed us around the most beautiful temples, tombs and museums in these cities (Aswan and Luxor) and always made sure we felt safe. From our airport pick up to our airport drop off, everything well exceeded our expectations! We look forward to another trip to Egypt and will definitely book with Journey to Egypt!

A journey downriver trough Egypt's past & present
Journey to Egypt team go above and beyond to insure an amazing trip. Osama organized an excellent tour from beginning to end. The Nile River is a along the cruise was very knowledgeable and enjoyable. I highly recommend the hot air balloon ride in Luxor - breathtaking. As for COVID-19 concerns, we felt very safe and comfortable, the cruise was basically empty and the sites had very low numbers of visitors… You must do this journey… worth every penny!
