Perfect way to tour Egypt
Journey to Egypt and guide (Tamer) did an excellent job of putting together an well thought out tour. The logistics were spot on. I can’t imagine planning all this myself.

Journey through Egypt with Tamer!
Tamer with Journey to Egypt was fantastic. Easy going, clear explanations, and very flexible. He knew the best times to visit the sites and showed us some off the beaten path stuff. Would definitely recommend this tour.

Great guide, great trip!
Safwat was an excellent guide. He was clearly very knowledgeable and found the perfect balance for a family. The cruise boat was nice, food good, and the team very helpful. The agenda was fascinating and the scenery beautiful.

The only way to see Egypt
We typically don't travel with pre-set tours or guides, and we were initially very hesitant to do this, but it seemed like the only way to get the full experience in Egypt. I would 100% recommend this tour company as we truly felt very taken care of every step of the way and felt we maximized our time in the country to see absolutely everything we could. Our guide, Ayman, was so knowledgeable and proud of the history - he was a fantastic guide and made our experience incredibly memorable. While the 3-4 day experience itself was rigorous (early mornings, lots of walking, long drives), we were excited for EVERY excursion and had a nice time decompressing on the cruise in between. We booked the luxury cruise and were assigned the M/S Concerto II. This cruise ship was renovated recently, had a wonderful staff who were very welcoming and hospitable, and the food was delicious. Only negative was that our room (although non-smoking) smelled like cigarette smoke so we had to air it out with opening the door/window frequently. Overall, a fantastic experience!

The star of our trip was John, our guide!
Our cruise was great, the boat crew were very friendly and accommodating. The Nile scenery was lovely to watch go by as we made our way down to each stop. Our local guide, John, however was amazing at keeping in contact with us, coordinating our small group at each stop (we were on different boats) and solving problems along the way (such as arriving late at a particular stop, common during the busy season). He really shined with his knowledge of ancient Egypt - which we really tested with our crazy questions that he was always able to answer! Since we were in a smaller group he was able to mostly able to keep us out of the large crowds to explain the main highlights and what he enjoyed at each site, before allowing us some free time to explore on our own. Thanks John for making the trip very special and personal for us!

Esperienza memorabile con John!
La nostra crociera sul Nilo di 3 notti è stata meravigliosa e memorabile. Apprezziamo molto la nostra guida, John. Era ben oltre le nostre aspettative! John è stato molto amichevole e gentile, può prendersi cura di tutto ciò che ci circonda anche se è molto alta stagione. È anche una guida professionale esperta, la sua spiegazione ha reso il nostro tour interessante e fruttuoso. Grazie a lui, abbiamo apprezzato vari templi e luoghi come Abu Simbel e Luxor. Il suo inglese è eccellente e di facile comprensione per i non nativi (siamo giapponesi). La crociera è stata rilassante e accogliente, un modo semplice per spostarsi da Assuan a Luxor. Il personale e il cibo erano buoni. Consigliamo vivamente Journey to Egypt e John come viaggio in Egitto. Rendono il tuo viaggio memorabile!

Esperienza straordinaria che vale il tuo tempo.
Il viaggio in Egitto è stata una grande esperienza. La nostra guida Tamer non era seconda a nessuno. Abbiamo avuto un grande gruppo di 8 persone ed è stato in grado di soddisfare tutti. È stato un ottimo mix di educazione e informazione, nonché tempo libero da esplorare da soli. È stato in grado di ruotare se succede qualcosa (ad esempio il nostro programma di volo è stato modificato all'ultimo minuto). La barca era fantastica con camere spaziose e personale molto cordiale e disponibile.

Wonderful sites and guides
We had an amazing time on our cruise! The sites were absolutely incredible, and the guides were kind and knowledgeable, and made you feel incredibly at home in a strange, new place. In particular, we felt so happy to have Ayman as a guide. He went out of his way to ensure we were having a great time and really experiencing the best Egypt had to offer. He really made the trip special. Highly recommend!

Beloved Egypt
Egypt is beloved as we experienced our first visit through the eyes and words of an Egyptologist, Tamer. He was very intelligent with the details of the temples and sites we visited. We loved the itinerary as it covers everything important. He made our trip unforgettable with his smiling face and laughter. Journey to Egypt has excellent customer service when planning your trip and I would highly recommend. Thank you Tamer and Journey to Egypt, we hope to return and will insist on Tamer !
