Ahmed our guide made it an amazing trip for the family. Absolutely the best way to see the Egypt. Food was great and the staff were super friendly and great with kids. Traveled with wife and kids ages 7 & 9.

L'intero viaggio è stato memorabile! Questa crociera è stata al di sopra delle mie aspettative. La crociera, l'equipaggio, il cibo, le attrazioni, la danza del ventre durante la crociera, la mongolfiera e soprattutto la nostra guida turistica, Ahmad, è stata meravigliosa! Ahmad era estremamente ben informato e una guida divertente. Ha reso i nostri tour così divertenti. Il cibo era eccellente e gli equipaggi erano molto gentili e rispettosi. Consiglio vivamente questa crociera a tutti.

Buena experiencia en el crucero, aunque podrían organizar las visitas a diferentes horas para escalonar a los turistas en los monumentos. Nuestro guía, Sabry, ha sido muy amable explicándonos muchos detalles de cada visita y con consejos sobre nuestra estancia. Es muy puntual y atento, recomiendo contratarlo para los tours en español.

The cruise was amazing. The staff on board were spectacular. The chef was accommodating with my plantbased diet. All the excursions were spot on. I would have liked one more day to relax on the boat. My only reservations are with regards to the guide. We paid for a trip to see the Nubian village. We didn't get any information about this. We were just taken there and back in 1.5 hours. We had no time to explore and we were given very little information on the Nubian way of life. Also the guid was lacking in knowledge during other excursions. He took us to places where we would have preferred not to go eg spice shop, alabaster factory.

General comments on this type of tour: - It was a bit packed and fast-paced compared to our preferred cultural vacationing style. - We could have done without the 2 fixed side-stops to local shops (perfume and alabaster makers+vendors), although we understand the commissions the tour operator get help supplement their incomes. - The fact that many boats (all of them?) follow an identical schedule for each sight-seeing means you're bound to encounter large crowds at each visit, especially the most popular ones. - Adding the unmissable Abu Simbel visit to this boat tour meant spending 4-5 hours, each way, crammed in a small bus for a rushed 50 minutes visit of these two beautiful, very crowded, temples. This said, all large-boat tours we heard of are currently packaged this way. Cruising the Nile while exploring the many unbelievable sights it has to offer remains a must-do in Egypt and we had a fantastic experience we definitely recommend. About our specific experience: We booked our trip with Egypt Gift Tour and we have been taken good care of (via WhatsApp) by Heba Haggag, as she made sure we had a great experience and did her best to accommodate our needs. Thank you Heba!! We loved the old-world charm of our boat, Princess Sarah II, the right compromise between comfort and vintage, with great attention to details in her interior design and decorations. Definitely a highlight of our tour was the sunrise hot-air balloon ride over Luxor, handled by our expert pilot Omar (from Hod-hod Soliman company): smooth navigation, commentary, and landing ;) And finally, last but not least, our wonderful group tour guide Ahmed! It took us a day to warm up to his rough-around-the-edges approach to guiding, but what a priceless addition he was to our experience! Extremely knowledgable (wow!!), always available to gives us extra information during and outside the hours of the tour, ready to answer any question, expert (and patient) in juggling the needs of 16 people (8 nationalities, including 2 children, 4 and 7 years old), ready to go the extra mile to give us an experience to remember.
