Know Thyself!

Kareem gave us a comprehensive overview of Alexandria, including a reveal of the contemporary economics, historical religious and cultural overviews, architectural insights, and an understanding as to HOW and WHY we ‘know’ what we know about our ancient ancestors. I’m inspired to do the rest of the research and put it all together so I can understand how it is relevant to me and be sure anyone who reads this is just as relevant. We are all connected to these mysterious people and civilizations that preceded us and this tour was very useful toward that understanding.

Highly recommend this tour with Karim to anyone visiting Alexandria!!!

We had an amazing tour in Alexandria with Karim as my guide. He was incredibly knowledgeable and brought the city’s history to life in a fascinating way. We explored the catacombs, a Greco-Roman site, the famous Library of Alexandria, and many other highlights. Karim shared so much valuable information, mixing historical details with interesting stories that made everything memorable. He was friendly, professional, and made sure the experience was smooth and enjoyable from start to finish. We would highly recommend this tour with Karim to anyone visiting Alexandria!!! The driver that took us to Alexandria from Cairo and back for this tour was also very professional and punctual.

Worth the trip! Thank you Walid and Mostafa!

It is a long journey from Cairo to Alexandria and back (5 hours total). But it’s a great opportunity to see things about Alexander the Great, the shenanigans by the British and French, Egyptian culture, etc. Walid was my guide and was great source of knowledge and background. Mostafa, the driver, was punctual with everything and made it a smooth ride in a chaotic Egyptian traffic.

A Must-Do Cairo Experience!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Visiting Cairo was truly a once-in-a-lifetime experience! Our day started at the Pyramids of Giza, and seeing them up close was absolutely breathtaking. We rode camels through the desert, which was such a fun and unique way to take in the views, and then got our adrenaline pumping riding ATVs around the sand dunes. After the adventures, we enjoyed a delicious authentic Egyptian lunch that was full of flavor and so satisfying. To top it all off, we had the chance to shop for souvenirs — the perfect way to bring a piece of Egypt home with us. Our guide Paulo was very friendly, knowledgeable, and made the whole experience seamless and memorable. I would 100% recommend this tour to anyone visiting Cairo — it’s the perfect mix of history, culture, and adventure!

Spectacular day at the Great Pyramids

Our guide Amir is extremely knowledgeable about the history of Egypt, from the pyramids to all the treasures in the Grand Egyptian Museum. We had lunch from a restaurant that looks up at the pyramids. Great day

Splendid day

My friends and I had only a few hours to spare in Alexandria and wanted to see the city's ancient heart. We are so incredibly fortunate to have found Mahmoud as our guide. From the moment we met, his passion for his city was palpable. This wasn't a rehearsed monologue; it was an enthusiastic friend showing off his hometown's greatest treasures. He masterfully wove together the grand narrative of Alexander the Great and Cleopatra with fascinating, human-scale details that made the ancient world feel immediate and real. In just a few hours, Mahmoud crafted a perfect itinerary that showcased the splendour of the ancient city. He took us beyond the obvious, pointing out hidden details in the Kom El Shoqafa catacombs that we would have missed entirely on our own, and brought the towering Pompey's Pillar to life with stories of its origins. His knowledge was profound, but his delivery was warm, engaging, and funny—perfect for a group of friends. He navigated us seamlessly through the crowds and ensured we experienced the majesty of Alexandria's history without feeling rushed. If you want to truly understand the layers of history that make Alexandria magical, do not hesitate to book a tour with Mahmoud. He transformed our few hours into an unforgettable journey back in time. We left not just with photos, but with a genuine connection to this glorious city.

AMAZING TOUR! WALEED IS GREAT!

WALEED WAS AMAZING! Extremely knowledgeable, funny, prompt and patient! He explained how the day would flow but also allowed us flexibility to spend as much time at each location as needed. Our group had people from all over the world and he found a way to relate to each one of us! I learned so much on this tour! Thank you, WALEED!
