Grand temps sur la visite à pied de nourriture
J'ai passé un très bon moment dans un groupe sur la visite locale du Caire Walking Food Tour avec Mila! Elle était très bien informée sur les plats présentés et nous avons pu essayer toutes sortes de plats salés, bonbons et boissons. Vous mangerez certainement des choses que vous ne voudriez pas en tant qu'étranger explorant par vous-même; nous avons sauté essentiellement de restaurant en stand en chariot de rue pour boire boutique à etc. , tous de petits endroits sans personne capable de parler anglais.
Assurez-vous de poser à Mila toutes les questions que vous avez sur la nourriture et l'histoire! Rythmez-vous parce que vous mangez pendant 3 heures, et soyez prêt à esquiver la circulation dans les rues rugissantes du Caire jusqu'au prochain arrêt alimentaire, parce que la visite à pied n'est pas une expérience de serviette blanche assise - - - c'est la vraie affaire! !

Lovely tour!
Absolutely loved the tour, our guide was amazing and really was able to show us local spots of Cairo and all types of restaurants. Couldn’t recommend enough. Definitely don’t eat before, so much food to consume!

Magy - the most awesome tour guide!!
Magy is such an amazing tour guide!! We had the most awesome experience trying lots of authentic Egyptian food. We look forward to recreating some recipes at home!! We enjoyed our tour with two other guests and it was just so much fun. I highly recommend Magy she is such a kind soul hope to meet again in the future 😊

Great Authentic Local Experience
Wow! What an incredible tour! We had so much fun with Magy exploring the streets of Cairo. We even got to dance in the street at the first restaurant during Ramadan. The food was delicious and we got a window into local life off the tourist path. If you are looking for an authentic experience in Cairo then this is it! Magy has lots of knowledge and can answer all your questions about Egyptian life. We loved it so much we scheduled another type of tour with her for the next day. Thank you Magy! The greatest Food tour in Eygpt !
wow this tour was truly amazing!.I highly highly highly recommend it... it was beyond a food tour it was a unforgettable life experience! Magy is so knowledgeable and so kind the food was amazing every step of the way ! the rich culture and night life was remarkably 100 stars. I truly have a better understanding and a great respect for Eygpt after this amazing tour. it really does feel like the day in the life of a Eygptian! Thank you soo much Magy I would do this tour 100 times over !

Best food tour ever!!
Incredible experience! WOW wow wow. We got to try so many different Egyptian foods and explore a less touristy area. It was so incredibly fun and unique and we had an absolute blast with our guide and with our group of friends! I would highly recommend this experience!:)

An Exquisite Culinary Journey with Maya – The Ultimate Food Tour in Cairo!
We had the pleasure of experiencing an incredible food tour in Cairo, led by the delightful Maya. As honeymooners from Canada, we were eager to explore Egyptian cuisine, and Maya did not disappoint!
Our tour included charming local eateries, where Maya introduced us to the rich flavors of traditional dishes. We savored koshari, a beloved Egyptian comfort food made of lentils, rice, and pasta topped with tangy tomato sauce and crispy onions. It was a hearty, satisfying start that truly captured the spirit of local cuisine. We also enjoyed freshly made and perfectly spiced shawarma. Maya guided us through the experience. Each bite was a burst of flavor! We also tasted molokhia, a unique green soup rich with history, served with chicken, in a typical Bedouin restaurant made of tents. Maya's storytelling added depth to each dish, making our experience even more memorable. We also tried wonderful sweets and local juices and so much more!
Throughout the tour, Maya’s passion for Egyptian food and culture shone brightly. Her warm demeanor and extensive knowledge made us feel like we were exploring with a dear friend. This culinary adventure was a highlight of our honeymoon, and we cannot recommend Maya highly enough! Thank you, Maya, for making our time in Cairo deliciously unforgettable!

Overpriced, needs to be packaged better.
Plenty of food to try especially if you are a meat lover. The tour takes place in a middle class neighbourhood in Cairo. You will get a taste of what the average Egyptian eats from breakfast to dinner with 3 hours.
Me and my wife found the tour to be a bit rushed. More than once we were concerned about the cleanliness of the food outlets, especially those serving meat dishes
We both felt for the food and portions that were served, £40 per person was quite overpriced. More attention to detail and making the tour slicker with less dishes and more time to enjoy as well choosing better outlets would be a good improvement.
