Pyramids, Sphinx, Camels & Lunch

Kyrllos was phenomenal - a certified Egyptologist, he was able to answer all of our questions, including my 5 year old daughter’s random thoughts. He knew all of the best spots for photos to get the best angles without the crowds and where to stop for specific shopping items and snacks. The driver was prompt, safe, always had the AC on for us after getting out of the hot sun. We spent about 5 hours seeing the Great Pyramids, Sphinx, a brief Camel ride for stereotypical photos, and stopping for a buffet style lunch (Egyptian food, good - the drinks are not included but very reasonably priced). I recommend sunglasses, a hat, a neck fan or cooling towel, and plenty of water, though there are several vendors with bottled water and soda for sale all over the place. Kyrllos also has tours to other museums and Egyptian sites, and has authored two books on Egyptian history. You can find him on IG Kyrllos_EgyptTourGuide for more info or direct bookings.

Amazing experience, wonderful guide and driver too!

We learned so much from our tour guide Manar, who showed us all around the Pyramids, Sphinx etc and explained the history so clearly. There was just the right balance of information and fun and letting us take things at our own pace. She was efficient with all the organisation of the various shuttle buses (which are very welcome!) and organising transport with our friendly and safe driver Ashraf. We were grateful for all her advice, her photographs and her friendly and engaging personality! Lunch was delicious and it really is in a superb location (view of the 9 Pyramids). We’ve always wanted to see the pyramids, and couldn’t have wished for a better team to make the experience so special.

Amazing Egypt Tour with an Outstanding Guide

Our guided tour to the Pyramids and the Grand Museum of Egypt was absolutely unforgettable. Everything was well organized, informative, and truly breathtaking from start to finish. Seeing the pyramids in person was an incredible experience, and the Grand Egyptian Museum was stunning with its amazing collection and beautiful design. A special thank you and huge credit goes to our guide, Yasmeen Abu Raqiqah, who made the entire experience even more enjoyable. Yasmeen was knowledgeable, professional, friendly, and passionate about Egyptian history. She explained everything in such an engaging way and made sure everyone felt comfortable and included throughout the tour. If you are planning to visit Egypt, I highly recommend this tour — and especially having Yasmeen Abu Raqiqah as your guide. She truly made the trip memorable!

Professional Guided Tour gets 6-Stars

Just finished an amazing tour of Giza pyramids area with Kyrllos Eskandar. It really deserves a 6-stars rating. Kyrllos is a professional Egyptologist with a university degree on the subject with excellent English language skills, enabling him to give rich insights and interesting details of the amazing history of Egypt. His passion for the subject comes through on the many planned points of the tour, and he answered my many questions as we walked and talked. I’ve taken a few guided tours before, and today’s experience totally reinforced the value of going with an experienced and professional tour guide. This was 10x better than just going to Giza on my own. Thanks for a great day!

Very knowledgeable and passionate guide

Hey Kalefa, you were a great guide for our family group. Very knowledgeable and you were passionate about Egyptian history and used all of your knowledge and insight that you had gained at university to narrate with clarity and excellence. What is important to us is that you read the group each time and it felt after we had not committed to going to the additional experience’s that you felt let down by us and were less accommodating and disengaged at that point. We were having a great time up until then but it just felt like you were wounded and less engaged once we decided to only visit one of your additional experiences. Perhaps it is a cultural thing but as New Zealanders, it is something that we often prefer not to do though respect the fact that that is your job but please, we encourage you to listen to the vibe of the group and adapt your engagement accordingly. We wish you well in your future endeavours and the birth of your son in the next few weeks. Thanks again for your incredible journey through Egyptian history. The Kiwi family group.

I had an amazing experience with our guide Ayoub during the Giza Pyramids tour. He was professional, knowledgeable, friendly, and very organized from start to finish. His passion for ancient Egyptian history made the tour so interesting and enjoyable. Ayoub explained everything clearly, answered all our questions, and made sure we were comfortable throughout the day. He also helped us avoid long waits and showed us the best spots for photos at the pyramids.
