Ahmed est incroyable ! Ne quittez pas Le Caire sans faire cette visite gastronomique. C'est vraiment une expérience incroyable de découvrir la culture à travers la nourriture, mais aussi grâce à la compagnie d'Ahmed. Il se surpasse, en s'assurant toujours que vous soyez satisfait. Il fournit également des recettes par la suite si vous les lui demandez. Très compétent et si accueillant - nous sommes repartis le ventre plein et avec de merveilleux souvenirs !

Une visite incontournable pour ceux qui aiment la gastronomie et explorer les joyaux cachés du Caire.
C'est l'une des meilleures visites du Caire et c'est un must pour tous ceux qui souhaitent approfondir la culture, tout en étant témoins d'un environnement familial si chaleureux. Avec Ahmed et Shorouk, et leurs filles, nous nous sommes sentis comme chez nous. Ils nous ont accueillis à bras ouverts et nous avons vraiment vu à quel point ils sont passionnés par ce qu'ils font. Leur gentillesse est inspirante !
En ce qui concerne la nourriture, ce sera à 100 % la meilleure nourriture que vous goûterez au Caire ! Ils nous ont emmenés dans plusieurs restaurants et nous avons eu l'occasion de goûter une nourriture très savoureuse et bien préparée ! !
Enfin et surtout, il n'y a pas de gaspillage alimentaire ! Nous avons pu ramener à la maison tout ce que nous n'avons pas pu manger !
Dans l'ensemble, une expérience 10000 / 10 ! Les mots ne peuvent exprimer à quel point nous avons aimé passer du temps avec cette belle famille !

A Cairo Must-Do
Fantastic tour! Definitely go hungry! Everyone will be full by the end of it and none of the food goes to waste. The perfect way to try various Egyptian food. An amazing price for the experience. The tour took about three hours. It was just the two of us and the guides (Ahmed and Shorouk, who are some of the friendliest people you will meet). They told us about the food, what we were walking past, Egyptian culture, etc. etc. They knew a lot about history as well and were more than well equipped to answer any questions we had. Genuinely one of our favorite experiences in Cairo. They made us feel like family!!

Authentic Food, Genuine Hospitality
From the moment I signed up for "Cairo Street Food with a Local Family" until long after it ended, Ahmed was an exceptional guide and an even better person. He genuinely treats his guests like family, and that level of care made this experience truly unforgettable.
Before the tour, I mentioned that I wouldn't have Wi-Fi afterward and was worried about how I'd order an Uber to get home. Ahmed immediately reassured me not to worry and promised he would make sure I got back safely. He kept his word. He let me use his personal hotspot to book my Uber and stayed with me until it arrived. It's thoughtful, personal gestures like that that leave a lasting impression and show how much he truly cares about the people on his tours.
Ahmed is incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, patient, and passionate about sharing his city. His warm personality and kind heart made everyone feel comfortable from the very beginning.
The "Cairo Street Food with a Local Family" tour itself was amazing! Come with an empty stomach because you'll be treated to an incredible variety of authentic Egyptian dishes. Every stop offered something unique, and everything we tried was absolutely delicious. I loved experiencing places I never would have found on my own.
After the tour, Ahmed shared with me, that it was actually his mom who suggested he and his family add this food tour to the experiences they offer. Kudos to his mom for such an awesome suggestion! This tour gives visitors a chance to experience the real Cairo through its food, culture, and people, and it's clear that her idea was a fantastic one.
One of the best parts of the tour was getting to meet local people and experience Cairo through their eyes. It truly felt like sharing a meal with family rather than simply taking a food tour. It was authentic, welcoming, and far more meaningful than a typical tourist experience.
I would highly recommend "Cairo Street Food with a Local Family" to anyone visiting Cairo. If you're looking for amazing food, great company, and a guide who goes above and beyond to make sure you have the best experience possible, Ahmed is the one to book with. This was easily one of the highlights of my trip.

Must Do !! Food tour in cairo
The food tour is an absolute must do for Cairo and it's absolutely amazing . Ahmed is really is informative and really knows a lot . Keep your tummys empty before the tour, trust me you are gonna eat alot

A Must-Do for an Authentic Cairo Experience
We had a fantastic time. This tour was exactly what we were hoping for and delivered on everything it promised. The food was excellent, but what really made it special was getting to spend the evening with a local family and experience a side of Cairo we never would have seen otherwise.
Our host was friendly, funny, and incredibly knowledgeable. We learned a ton about the food, culture, and everyday life in Egypt, and never felt like we were just being rushed from one stop to the next.
I'd absolutely recommend this to anyone visiting Cairo. If you want an authentic experience instead of just another tourist activity, this is it.

The best tour we took in Cairo!
This is the best tour you can take in Cairo. Ahmed was vey kind, friendly, and knowledgeable about the city and Egypt. He was extremely accommodating and obviously does this because he believes in the mission. The tour was a great way to see the local side of the city that we likely otherwise wouldn't have been able to, and we learned more about Egyptian culture on this tour than we did in our whole time in Cairo. This should be #1 on your list of things to do in Cairo!

Ahmet est le meilleur !
Ahmet était un hôte incroyable ! Il a adapté les arrêts à notre palais aventurier, nous a fait visiter le vieux Caire et était un partenaire de conversation incroyable — répondant à toutes nos questions sur la culture égyptienne et musulmane.
Même après la fin de la visite, il était réactif et nous a donné d'excellentes suggestions de shopping local qui ont complété notre séjour au Caire comme une cerise sur le gâteau !
