Long day, worth it, with extras (not all included)

Such an amazing day, so worth doing if you have a day to explore. Our tour guide Ammar was incredible, much love to him for making our day very smooth running and explaining everything that was happening throughout in multiple languages (English, Russian mainly). The bus ride was so long but we had a couple stops on the way and one on the way back. Will warn everyone though that the rest house is overpriced and they won't let you go to the toilet without paying but at least there's a toilet on the bus. First stop was at the museum, a little bit rushed and only got to see highlights but our guide there was hilarious and added some nice personal touches for our group. We then went on a river nile cruise - this isn't included in the ticket price and is an extra $10 or EGP£500 per person which we had no choice but to pay, however this was very cool and we got to see a lot of cairo and giza. Lunch was buffet style at a BBQ place and was nice but the restaurant was quite crowded. We stopped at the Pyramids for two hours and the Sphinx for 45 minutes, with the option to take a camel or horse carriage around the pyramids for an extra charge or wander around ourselves. I feel like the pyramids could've been more guided as we were amazed by the views but didn't receive too much info about them whilst we were there and instead got told on the bus on the way. Two other stops we made that were not mentioned were the papyrus museum and perfume factory, these were basically just stops getting us to try to buy things which i wasn't a fan of. Overall is definitely worth the time and money and as I say Ammar was great :))

Cairo indimenticabile

Indimenticabile. Adriano un professionista serio e preparato capace di coniugare cultura e attualità a qualche risata senza mai eccedere, ma restando attento ai bisogni delle famiglie. Assolutamente consigliato anche con bambini piccoli

Dangerous and Corrupt Tourguide

Dangerous and Corrupt Tourguide I strongly advise everyone to stay away from this tour to the Giza Pyramids. The experience was absolutely unacceptable and honestly dangerous. The trip was cancelled at very short notice, leaving us completely stranded. We were then told that if we wanted to go ahead with the tour, we would need to pay 150% of the original price to rebook. This felt like clear exploitation of tourists. When I disputed this unfair demand, one of the men on the bus became aggressive and threatening. His behaviour was intimidating and completely unprofessional. No tourist should ever feel unsafe or pressured in this way. The conditions on the bus were shocking. It was extremely hot, poorly ventilated, and smelled terrible. The air was suffocating, and there was no proper air conditioning. As a young and healthy person, I ended up suffering a severe medical emergency during the journey. My condition became so serious that I had to be taken to hospital in Sharm El Sheikh via ambulance. It was a terrifying situation that could have ended much worse. This tour was disorganised, dishonest, and unsafe. Please protect yourself and your health — do not book this trip. It could cost you far more than money.

The tour itself is awesome. The bus ride is terrible

Tour in Cairo is great. The guide is very informative and very knowledgeable. Bus ride going and coming back to Sharm is terrible. Be ready for 6 to 7 hours each way, and they only do one stop. The bus driver and the conductor guy on the bus does not talk or engage the passengers. I suggest get a private car or van when visiting Cairo. Do your research before you book!

It was an enjoyable tour of Cairo.

Although the bus journey was tiring, the staff were very helpful.
