We recently booked a private day trip from Marsa Alam to the Valley of the Kings with Marsa Alam Tours, and it was easily the highlight of our vacation. The drive to Luxor is quite long, but our driver, Wahid, made the time fly by. He is an absolute professional—his driving felt very safe and smooth, and the car was spotless and cool with great AC. But more than just being a great driver, Wahid is a genuinely kind and thoughtful person. He shared so much interesting information about the local areas we passed through and made sure we were comfortable every step of the way. The best part was the "extra mile" service. On the way back, when we were all a bit tired from the heat of the tombs, Wahid surprised us by stopping and buying us all ice cream! It was such a sweet, unexpected gesture that really showed how much he cares about his guests' experience. If you are planning a trip to the Valley of the Kings or anywhere else in Egypt, I cannot recommend Marsa Alam Tours enough. Definitely ask for Wahid if you want a driver who treats you like family! Pros: Professional and safe driving. Knowledgeable and friendly staff. Excellent communication during booking. Thoughtful touches (like the ice cream!) that make the trip special.

Der Ausflug nach Luxor ist sehr empfehlenswert. Er war gut organisiert, die Unterkunft war sauber, das Frühstück nicht so toll, aber wir hatten auch nur die **-Unterkunft gebucht. Unser Fahrer war immer pünktlich und sehr freundlich.

We found Marsa Alam Tours searching the internet. At first a little sceptic, but what a plessant surprise this company is! The communication after we made the booking was clear, friendly and smooth. We booked a private tour for just the two of us. On the day of the departure to Luxor the taxi driver was sharp on time for the pickup. (04.00 in the morning) We had a minivan with just us two, so we had plenty of space. (Perfect!!) Our taxi driver Hamada was a very professional and friendly driver. In 5 hours with two stops we were in Luxor and there the private guide Said was waiting for us. Hamada stayed with us the whole two days, got us fresh drinks, ice cream, some information on the way and all friendly and with professional distance. The tourguide Said was as passionate about his work as can be. He showed us around the Temples of Karnak and Luxor and led us passed the crowded cues. It showes he is doing this job for ten years now. After the temples we had a nice lunch in a local restaurant packed with locals, then you know the food must be good. And it was! We stayed the night in the Steigenberger Nile Palace. What can i say 5 star luxery, friendly staff, nice room, entertainment and good food. What do you need more. The second day we visited the Valley of the Kings. We entered the tombes and were mindblown from the overwhelming beauty. There is so much to see that it is almost too much much to take in. We finished the trip with a visit to the temple of Queen Hatshepsut. Again overwhelming beauty and you can't imagine how they could build this thousands of years ago. The 5 hours drive back with Hamada was smooth and relaxed. These two days were an experience we will never forget. Thank you Marsa Alam Tours and specially Hamada and Said!

Nel complesso il viaggio è stato davvero bellissimo e molto soddisfacente. Il trasferimento privato in auto con autista è stato eccellente: guida sicura, professionale e molto disponibile, con un inglese parlato perfettamente. La guida in italiano è stata un vero valore aggiunto: preparatissima, con un italiano impeccabile, sempre disponibile ad adattare il programma e ad accogliere le nostre richieste. L’hotel 5 stelle nel centro di Luxor era molto bello, elegante e accogliente, in una posizione davvero comoda. Esperienza sulla mongolfiera DA TOGLIERE IL FIATO e molto ben organizzata. Tolgo una stella solo perché in alcuni momenti l’organizzazione e le comunicazioni non sono state impeccabili, ma va detto che le criticità sono state risolte rapidamente. Consiglio comunque l’esperienza, perché la qualità complessiva del viaggio è stata molto alta

Everything went perfectly well. we got a very reliable driver. and a very well educated guide in Luxor who did not only show us everything but also explained what we saw. so we learned a lot and could enjoy it much more. We also got a better hotel than we booked with a nice terrace at the Nile. So I can really recommend doing such a trip for 2 days and choos marsa alam tours

Da wir nicht stundenlang in einem großen Reisebus sitzen und in einer großen Gruppe unterwegs sein wollten, haben wir uns für einen individuellen Ausflug entschieden. Marsa Alam Tours war dafür eine sehr gute Wahl. Die Buchung war problemlos via WhatsApp möglich, sogar bei der Art der Bezahlung kam man uns entgegen. Die Tour selbst war super organisiert, wir fuhren zu zweit in einem Minibus, der Fahrer war sehr nett, in Luxor wartete ein Guide. Wir konnten die beiden Tage ohne Stress genießen. Wir hatten uns für die 5-Sterne-Hotel-Variante entschieden, Steigenberger direkt am Nil. Nicht ganz so schön waren zwei Verkaufsshows, eine in einem Parfumshop, die andere in einer Alabasterfabrik. Aber tatsächlich gehört das in Ägypten bei fast allen Ausflügen dazu. Wir waren alles in allem mehr als begeistert von dem Trip und können ihn sehr empfehlen. Ein besonderer Dank geht an Sara für die Unterstützung.

Thank you for the trip, which we generally remember very well, despite the fact that, contrary to the arrangements, we received a car that was not suitable for a wheelchair user (a minivan with three steps that a disabled person could not overcome). However, the situation was saved by our driver Mohamed, who repeatedly carried my husband from the car seat to the ground and back, sometimes even alone, even though my husband weighs about 90 kilograms. He turned out to be an extremely helpful, empathetic person who was very understanding of our needs. I cannot imagine a trip without his full commitment and help, for which we thank him once again from the bottom of our hearts!

Georganiseerd door marsaalamtours (Ahmed). We hebben als gezin al eerder meerdaagse tours door deze organisatie laten verzorgen en alle tours tot in de puntjes uitgevoerd. Dit keer naar Luxor en door ons eigenlijk aan de late kant geboekt . Toch wist Ahmed een Nederlandse gids te regelen. Kindvriendelijke gids met veel kennis van de Egyptische archeologie die zelfs voor kinderen op een leuke en begrijpelijke manier werden gebracht. We gaan de volgende tours zekers weer deze organisatie laten verzorgen.

Die Kommunikation mit Amal via WhatsApp war sehr gut. Sie stellte ein Programm exakt nach unseren Wünschen zusammen. Ahmed, unser Fahrer, war sehr nett, zuverlässig und aufmerksam. Unser deutsch-sprechender Guide in Luxor, Ahmed Mostafa, organisierte alles perfekt vor Ort. Besser geht nicht. Sogar die beiden Jungs, 10 und 12 Jahre alt, waren restlos begeistert. Wir würden den Trip immer wieder gerne bei Marsa Alam Tours buchen.
