Awesome!
This was one of the best days ever! Our hotel was in Port Ghalib so it was a really long way (3 hours per bus and about 2,5 hours per boat) but it was absolutely worth it. We were picked up and didn't have to worry about anything else for the day. The crew was super nice, helped everyone with their snorkeling stuff and gave out suitable equipment when you had nothing yourself. Lunch and beverages are provided. We were able to see the dolphins several times when we were in the water. Can 100% recommend!

Incredible day at Marsa Alam
It was an amazing experience swimming with the dolphins and snorkelling to see the beautiful corals and fish on the 1st day of 2025!

Once in a lifetime
Ein einmaliges Erlebnis. Wir hatten viel Glück, und am zweiten Tag war früh morgens eine sehr sehr große Schule Delfine am Riff. Da wir eine sehr kleine Gruppe mit nur elf Schnorcheln waren, war die Stimmung extrem entspannt, und wir konnten lange nur wenige Zentimeter entfernt oder sogar in der Mitte der Schule schnorcheln/treiben. Delfine nur wenige Zentimeter entfernt, vor einem, hinter einem, zu beiden Seiten. Je weniger Bewegung von uns, desto näher kamen sie. Mustafa war ein toller Gastgeber, die Gespräche an Bord mit der Crew auf Augenhöhe und nicht nur die Standard-Touri-Bespaßung. Schnorchelguides und Fotograf ebenfalls super professionell! Marsa Waves schaltet außerdem nachts den Generator ab, das habe ich schon anders erlebt. Weniger Lärm, Gestank und besser für die Umwelt! Gerne wieder!

Once in a lifetime
Sataya Overnight, not my first time.
First day no dolphins, everyone was sad. Second day: 80 dolphins, they were quiet and allowed us snorklers to dive within their group, as long as we made no big movements.
40 dolphins on your right, 30 on your left, just inches away, looking at you: Once in a lifetime. We were pumped with adrenaline after that.
What made the tour with Marsa Waves special:
- they allow you to swim from the boat at any time (huuuge plus)
- they turn out the generator at night, so no noise, no light disturbance when watching the stars, better for environment
-Snorkeling guides were attentive and friendly
Finally: Mustafa as Lead-Guide was very good and has potential to become an actual host. He was professional, kept us well informed and made conversation that actually deserves that name. So you do not feel like a tourist with an IQ of 80, kept happy with a few childish jokes - you rather feel like a respected person. That was unusual and very nice.

La magie de nager avec des dauphins!
Une excursion à ne pas rater!!! une nuit sur le bateau très confortable et les dauphins par dizaines!....que d'émotions, nager avec eux en toute quiétude! magnifique!!
Le personnel du bateau aux petits soins, même si nous n'avions que des compagnons de route allemands, cela n'a pas altéré ce moment plein de magie. Vous pouvez aussi faire de la plongée même en initiation, des guides très bienveillants!

Experiencia inolvidable
Ha sido una experiencia inolvidable! Pudimos ver a los delfines y aunque había mucha gente, la visibilidad era muy buena! Todo el equipo fue muy profesional y nos ayudó durante toda la excursión! La comida también estuvo muy bien!

Great Experience
The trip from our Resort to get to the little harbour where our boat sailed took an hour, the same coming back, really an effort.
But the rest has been wonderful: our boat was great and new, the staff gently, and the trip to Sataya was smooth, whith a quite sea: you could have coffee water and soft drink whenever you want: i took a sunbathe staying lying down at the front seat and listening music.
Then we arrived at Sataya together with other 5 boats of the same kind, so you'll be in the water with many other people, obviously you're not alone.
Using a tender we've been left at the middle of this incredible circle reef and we enjoied a long bath, where we've found several groups of Dolphins, passing at different distance every time, but often very close, and it's a dream..
Then the tender pick you up to return to your Boat, and have another snorkeling at the beautiful reef. It's time for lunch, and in the meanwhile you can have other bath if you want.
Coming back the sea was not as calm as the first trip, with waves high till 7 meters, but the boat was solid, and no worries at all for me, i enjoied a lot this experience too.

Un'esperienza incredibile.
L'escursione alla Sataya Dolphin House è stata una delle esperienze più emozionanti della mia vita. Nuotare circondata dai delfini è stato incredibile. ll viaggio in barca è piuttosto lungo ma ne vale assolutamente la pena.
Tutto il team di Marsa Waves è stato super disponibile e professionale. Gradevole anche il pranzo a bordo della nave.
Consiglio a tutti questa escursione!
