Luxor-Tagestour

Der Tag im Tal der Könige hat sich äusserst gelohnt. Die Führung (Roshdy) war sehr hilfreich für Information und Tickets. Man muss einfach bereit sein 6-8h in der Wüstensonne zu verbringen. Toller Tag!

Must do in Egypt

I took a full day private tour of the west bank of Luxor with Mohamed Awad. He was very knowledgeable and an excellent guide. Seeing the tomb of King Tut was something I was looking forward to my whole trip. The village of the workers showed a different part of ancient Egyptian life. Unfortunately queen Nefertiti’s tomb was closed for restoration. This is supposed to be the best tomb in Egypt.

Enjoying viewing and learning Valleys of Kings and Queens and Queen Hatshepsut Temple

In an early Mid April morning, we four seniors Hot Air Balloon activity and then tour guide leaded us to explore the Luxor tour of the West Bank. We started from Valley of Kings. There are only KV 2,6,8 tombs are opened to visitors. KV2 and KV6 are the Tomb of RAMESSES IV and RAMESSES IX Tomb respectively. They are the most colorful tombs of three. KV8 is the MERENPTAH Tomb. We then visited Valley of Queen and Queen Hatchepsut Temple. Where we have seen all statues with two arms crossed each holding “Key of Life”. Tour guide said that it is “after life”, meaning it is dead.

Amazing tour of Luxor West Bank with Khaled

We went with Khaled. He did an amazing job!! He is extremely friendly, informative, engaging, and respectful. We recommend him thoroughly to anybody looking for a tour of the Luxor West Bank sites. Taha was an amazing driver as well. The car was clean, spacious, and drove very smooth. He drove very safely and didn’t use his phone at all while driving. Thanks very much to Khaled and Taha! And thanks to Reflections Travel for organizing the tour.
