Luxor sightseeing
Roshdy was a great tour guide. He and Mohammed our driver met us at the airport, took the time to find us breakfast because we had had an early morning flight and provided us with waters. They were very punctual, friendly and we never felt rushed. Roshdy is very knowledgeable and professional. Mohammed was a very safe driver, polite, opened the doors for us. Our lunch was delicious. I would highly recommend Roshdy as a tour guide and Mohammed as a driver:)

Emocionante caminar tras los pasos de los faraones. Detalles impresionantes te rodean, mucha información en cada parada. Vas por el Valle de los Reyes, pero las paradas más desconocidas fueron igual o más impresionantes y menos concurridas.

¡Khaled fue un guía fantástico! Conoce realmente la historia egipcia y explicó todo de una manera muy interesante y fácil de entender. Su explicación de los jeroglíficos fue especialmente buena.
Visitamos el Valle de los Reyes y muchas otras atracciones, incluido el Valle de los Artesanos, que fue sin duda una joya oculta. Recomendaríamos encarecidamente añadirlo al itinerario; fue una de nuestras partes favoritas del tour.
También visitamos un taller de alabastro, que fue una experiencia realmente agradable. No hubo absolutamente ninguna presión para comprar nada. Nos recibieron con una bebida de cortesía e incluso pudimos intentar hacer un jarrón nosotros mismos.
Como estábamos de luna de miel, Khaled hizo un esfuerzo adicional y nos sorprendió con un regalo de boda muy bonito: una placa de alabastro con nuestra fecha de boda. Fue un gesto muy considerado y convirtió la experiencia en algo aún más especial.

overwhelming experience
What a fantastic day. We were picked up at our hotel by Ahmed, our private driver for the day. The four-hour drive to Luxor didn't feel like four hours at all. Ahmed drove us to Luxor safely and comfortably in an air-conditioned vehicle. Waiting for us there was Ahmed Elsisi, our Egyptologist. What an enthusiastic, cheerful, and—above all—knowledgeable man he is! Ahmed had so much to share; he is such a wise man! We heard wonderful, interesting stories. Along the way, he kept taking photos of us—haha—and they turned out great, too! We visited many temples and tombs and even helped out at the alabaster workshop. What a unique experience that was! We grabbed a bite to eat and then took a tour on the Nile, where I even got a chance to steer the boat. We had such a fantastic day!! A huge thank you once again to both Ahmeds! We didn't just enjoy ourselves and get a bit of a tan—we also learned so much!

El tour por la orilla occidental de Luxor con Roshdy como guía fue estupendo. Él y el conductor fueron puntuales al recogernos en nuestro hotel la mañana del tour. Desde allí, fuimos directamente al Valle de los Reyes. Durante el trayecto, Roshdy nos proporcionó mucha información interesante sobre Luxor y el Valle de los Reyes. Una vez que llegamos, nos dio una visión general de cómo funciona la visita a las tumbas. Como llegamos relativamente pronto, todavía no había muchos visitantes. Elegimos las tumbas que queríamos visitar (3 de las incluidas con la entrada principal + 3 tumbas adicionales). Nos dio información sobre cada tumba antes de entrar en ellas y nos esperó hasta que visitamos todas las tumbas que queríamos ver. No nos metió prisa. Una vez terminado, fuimos a las otras paradas del tour. El conductor estaba siempre listo para venir a recogernos con el aire acondicionado ya puesto. Todo fue genial, Roshdy fue muy amable y nos proporcionó mucha información. Al final del tour, ni Roshdy ni el conductor nos pidieron propina. Sin duda recomendaría este tour.

Esto tenía sentido al entrar en las tumbas subterráneas, pero esperábamos diálogo e historia sobre el lugar antes de entrar en las tumbas, por no mencionar que tampoco entró con nosotros en las tumbas de los trabajadores, así que tampoco tuvimos contexto aquí. Did it all!
Great experience Roshdy was a Great guide we did everything I wanted to do and he stayed with me for all the extras. If you want more of a private experience instead of going with a 30ppl tour this is it.

Luxor tour
We had a very good experience exploring Luxor with our Egyptologist tour guide, Roshdy. He was knowledgeable, friendly and quite informative, giving us interesting explanations about the history and significance of the monuments we visited. We managed to see most of the main sites, and overall the tour was well organized.
One thing we would have preferred was having a little more free time to explore the monuments on our own, especially at Luxor Temple. We also visited several papyrus and alabaster workshops, which were not really of interest to us, and personally we would have preferred to spend that time at the archaeological sites instead.
Our driver, was equally good — very friendly, polite, punctual and always making sure we were comfortable during the day.
Overall, we had a positive experience with both Roshdy and would recommend them to other travelers visiting Luxor.
