Karnak es un antiguo recinto de un templo egipcio ubicado en la orilla este del río Nilo en Tebas (actual Luxor). Cubre más de 100 hectáreas, un área más grande que algunas ciudades antiguas.
Construido durante cientos de años por Amenhotep III, Ramsés II, Tutankamón y otros faraones, el Templo de Luxor fue el centro religioso más grande e importante del antiguo Egipto. En lo que entonces era Tebas, el Templo de Luxor era "el lugar de la Primera Ocasión", donde el dios Amón experimentó el renacimiento durante la ceremonia de coronación que el faraón recreaba anualmente.
La ribera occidental de Luxor había sido el lugar de los entierros reales desde alrededor del 2100 a. C., pero fueron los faraones del período del Imperio Nuevo (1550-1069 a. C.) quienes eligieron este valle aislado dominado por el pico de la montaña en forma de pirámide de Al Qurn ( El cuerno). Una vez llamado la Gran Necrópolis de los Millones de Años del Faraón, o el Lugar de la Verdad, el Valle de los Reyes tiene 63 magníficas tumbas reales.
En Deir Al Bahri, los ojos se centran primero en los espectaculares acantilados de piedra caliza que se elevan casi 300 m sobre la llanura desértica, solo para darse cuenta de que al pie de toda esta inmensa belleza se encuentra un monumento aún más extraordinario, el deslumbrante Templo de Hatshepsut. El templo de aspecto casi moderno se mezcla a la perfección con los acantilados de los que está parcialmente cortado, un matrimonio hecho en el cielo. La mayor parte de lo que ves se ha reconstruido minuciosamente.

En Luxor, mi parte favorita de la experiencia fue mi visita al Valle de los Reyes. Pude filmar un video de la momia del rey Tutankamón y visitar al menos otras 3 tumbas. Visitar el templo de la reina Hatshepsut también fue interesante.

とても快適に楽しくエジプト旅行をすることができました。ガイドのAzabはとても親切で知識も豊富で、何度も私たちを助けてくれました。チップや買い物のことも私たちが損をしないように何でも教えてくれます。一度、ホテルを出て1人でルクソールを歩いてみたのですが、すぐに客引きに捕まり、高額な買い物をさせられそうになったり、物乞いに囲まれたりして、いかに自分達がガイドによって守られていたかを知りました。観光客が1人で歩いていると絶対にぼったくられますので、エジプト旅行では絶対にツアーをつけた方が楽しめると思います。少しでも英語がわかるなら日本語で見つかるツアーではなくこのツアーに参加することを強くおすすめします(日本語で見つけられるツアーより金額が安いし、ガイドの質が高い)。このツアーに参加したおかげで私はエジプトの人が本当に好きになりました。ツアー終わりにはAzabを家族のように思っていました。Azabありがとう！

The trip was a wonderful experience! Our guide, Azab, did a fantastic job. He took great care of all the details and provided a detailed explanation at each of the places we visited. He was friendly and answered any questions we had. I would highly recommend this trip and him as a guide.

I highly recommend this tour with Mohamed Sayed! He is extremely knowledgeable and made sure I felt safe and comfortable as a solo female traveler visiting Egypt for the first time. We saw the Karnak and Luxor temples, Valley of the kings and queens and Temple of Queen Hatshepsut and the Colossi of Memnon. It was incredible to see history up close and so well preserved. I learned so much and highly recommend this tour as something you absolutely have to see in Luxor and overall in Egypt.

We had great fun with our trip!! Luxor has so many gems, specially Karnak temple and Valley of Kings! Our guide Mohammed was great, he gave his best to make us comfortable and make this tour memorable!

I cannot express how much I loved this tour! The cruise was a great way to see different cities. Our guide Asab was absolutely fantastic and takes great pictures! He is so knowledgeable about each site. He is protective, trustworthy and so kind! One tip, do the extras (like the Nubian village)- you won't regret it!

I’m going to be honest, I have no idea what we would have done without our tour guide, Azab! Not only did he tell us the history of temples and tombs, but he showed us daily life for the modern people living in Luxor and answered our many cultural questions. He never shied away from hard questions, but answered them with honesty and grace. He is excellent with children and went out of his way to find cool experiences for an 11yo boy. Do it! You will think it’s worth your time and money!!

My fiance and I went on a Nile Ril er cruise from Luxor to Aswan and Ahmed Awad was our tour guide, we had the best time, it was seamlessly organized from the pick up in the morning to the information at the historical sights. Ahmed even knew where to take great pictures of my fiance and I. Ahmed made my dream birthday vacation. Amazing. I felt like a VIP! Thank you again, Ahmed!

This Luxor to Aswan Egypt trip with Ahmed Awad as our tour guide was absolutely phenomenal. Ahmed was informative, kind, funny, patient. Ahmed knew all the special places to take the best pictures at the historical sights. I have traveled many places and he is top tier!
