We explored the entire Highlight West Bank in just one day, saw everything, and took great photos!

Angie was one of the best tour leaders we’ve ever had in Egypt. Super knowledgeable, she explained everything so clearly and beautifully. On top of that, she was like a caring mom to me and my pregnant wife—she tailored the whole itinerary around our needs. She timed everything perfectly to avoid crowds, so we could take amazing photos and truly enjoy the trip. Even when shopping, she had our backs. I highly recommend her to everyone!

Great full day tour

We booked the full day tour for the west and east bank in Luxor. Our guide was Mina and our driver was Mohamed. Since the beginning they were great with us. We started the day around 8am and headed to the East Bank and then ended the day at the West Bank. First of all, both the driver and the guide were attentive to our needs. They made sure we got coffee and water when we asked for it. Mina made sure that we spent the minimum amount of time walking under the sun when it was closer to midday. Bathroom breaks were also considered since the day was long. We had requested to include the tickets and therefore didn’t need to wait in line at all. In most places it’s not permitted to have a guide inside so Mina made sure to explain what we were going to see beforehand and then meet us right after to catch up and give some more information. Some tombs in the valley of the kings aren’t included in the tour but we were given always the option to add more if we wanted to. So time wasn’t an issue if we needed to do something extra. Our guide, Mina, made sure that we understood the info given and replied to additional questions when we had some. He was funny and energetic which was necessary when we were getting tired from the tour. Both Mina and Mohamed adjusted the schedules when we said we needed to have a break for lunch. Given the different treatment foreigners get sometimes, he also made sure that he asked for bills so that we don’t get scammed. One thing that I suggest is not buying souvenirs at the stores where you go to throughout the tour. Of course, no one obliges you to buy something, but that is the only part that we’d change. It is not something that our guides are to blame for of course. Finally, we did the West Bank. Mina took us to Karnak and Luxor temples. Explained everything, got inside with us and left us time at the end if we needed to take photos. At the end he organized a feluka ride for us which was something we were trying to do for not that much money and decided to do with the same tour company. I really hope everyone gets the same experience with this guide as we wouldn’t change it for anything.

Deep knowledge of the Egyptian hostory. Great experience.

We did the tour with Mina and our driver was Mohamed — both were really kind, professional, and experienced. We visited all the essential sites on both the east and west sides, including the Luxor Museum, Karnak Temples, the Valley of the Kings, and the Temple of Hatshepsut. Mina gave excellent explanations of the history — clear, engaging, and easy to understand. We also added a felucca ride to our experience, which made the day even more special.

Don't miss this tour when you're in Luxor!

The experience was truly outstanding! The guide and the driver were both friendly and highly professional. Our guide, Emad, was exceptionally knowledgeable, warm, and approachable. He offered detailed explanations of each site and was great at suggesting local tips to enhance our visit to the tourist spots and the city overall. The whole tour was enjoyable, with the authentic and delicious lunch being a real highlight. We would definitely hop on another tour with Emad and his team without hesitation!

West Bank - Luxor Day Tour

I am delighted to be accompanied by Mr. Hany Yassen (Captain) as my West Bank tour guide. He is a learned person and an experienced guy in the field of Luxor tourism. Rely on him for any types of day tours at Luxor and he can go an extra way out if you want to cover some extra sight seeing or location. Mr. Mohamed our car pilot, had a wonderful Elantra car in a new condition and hygienic clean car. Thanks to both of them.

Amazing Luxor

Amazing experience-like once in a life-to see the oldest treasures of our world in Egypt. We all learned this at schools but the history told by the guide and the ability to “touch” and feel the history is unbelievable. Thank you, Emad, for this journey in the past and for your nice British accent!

Best Luxor Guide Experience

Sayeed was the best tour guide. We felt like royalty with our driver taking us to the gates of each stop. Sayeed arranged lunch and stops to learn about Alabaster carving, cotton weaving and Papyrus paper making. He knows the history of the area because he grew up there and continues to study history and languages. He speaks English, German and Arabic. Sayeed was easy going and patient with all our questions. We extended our tours with Sayeed for 3 days and learned so much. Kings of the Valley was my favorite but don't miss boating on the Nile or the Hot Air Balloons.
